Receive Gil even when running from battle.
Description
Flee-Gil is a support ability in Final Fantasy IX for Zidane and Amarant that allows the party to earn 10% of the gil the battle would have yielded when manually escaping for a cost of 3 Magic Stones.
Obtained[]
Flee-Gil is learned from Wrist, Desert Boots, and Gold Choker for 30 AP for Amarant and 45 AP for Zidane. Wrist can be stolen from the Masked Man and found in Evil Forest and Prima Vista, and also bought in Dali. Desert Boots are first synthesized in Lindblum and also found in Cleyra's Trunk . Gold Choker can first be synthesized in Treno when Princess Garnet and Captain Steiner visit there.
Mechanics[]
Flee-Gil makes the party gain 10% the normal amount of gil of a battle when manually escaping with and . It does not work with Zidane's Flee. If the party has Quina with an active Millionaire, the party gains 15% of the battle's normal yield when escaping. Flee-Gil does not "stack" if both Zidane and Amarant are in the party wearing it.
Use[]
Flee-Gil is fairly pointless unless the player is escaping all battles deliberately, such as for a low level challenge run. The player would need to escape ten battles to make the money of one normally won encounter.
