Fire Breath (ファイヤー/ファイア ブレス, Faiyā/Faia Buresu?), also known as Flame Breath (ファイアブレス, Fureimu Buresu?), Fire Bracelet, Engulfing Flames, and The Lion's Breath, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is a Fire-elemental ability often used by dragons that usually targets an entire party, and sometimes can be used by the player either through Blue Magic, Dragoon class, or through a monster.

Fire Breath is a Blue Magic spell Quistis learns from an Inferno Fang. It deals Fire-elemental damage to all enemies depending on her Magic stat and on Quistis's Crisis Level.
Inferno Fangs are dropped by Hexadragons and Ruby Dragons, are mugged from Ruby Dragons, and modified from Ruby Dragon cards (10:1).
The ability's enemy version is a Ruby Dragon's Breath attack, though it is non-elemental and physical.
Final Fantasy X[]
One of Kimahri's Ronso Rage Overdrives, Fire Breath, deals moderate Fire-elemental damage to all targets. It can be learned from Dual Horn, Valaha, Yenke Ronso, and Grendel. The move is also used by Yenke, while Valaha and Grendel use a variant called Flame Ball after charging up, and Juggernaut uses a stronger version of it called Salvo.
The enemy ability Breath has a fire variant that functions similarly to Fire Breath, and is used by Vouivre, Mushussu, Nidhogg, and Fafnir. Adamantoise also has a fire-elemental Breath attack.
