The Megalodoth, also known as the Vomammoth, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI.

Battle[]
If any party member is at Level 5 or higher, the Megalodoth will use Snowstorm to damage all party members with the 
Ice element. Since the Megalodoth is fought during the battle to save Terra, this can be dangerous and can decimate the party. Besides Snowstorm, they use normal attacks and a stronger special attack, Bear Claw. They may attempt to use Snowstorm a second time, but will lack the MP. Since they are met early in the game the player only has access to physical attacks to fight them, and they should die in a few hits.
Though it is a weak enemy met early, the Megalodoth has the second highest Attack Power of any normal opponent—only the Greater Mantis has higher.
