— Description for Young Link

Young Link is the second downloadable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Zenith. This is how Link looked like for half of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, as well as Majora's Mask.

Young Link already appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but was absent in subsequent Smash Bros. titles due to Toon Link. Young Link's moveset in Zenith is a bit different this time around.

Special Moves[]

Move Name Description
Neutral Special Move Default Fire Arrow Young Link shoots an arrow set aflame. It doesn't travel as far as the Hero's Bow arrows from Link and Toon Link.
Custom 1 Ice Arrow Young Link shoots a chilly Ice Arrow. a fully-charged arrow can freeze opponents.
Custom 2 Searing Arrow An arrow that doesn't travel as far as a regular Fire Arrow, but impact on the ground make the arrow combust and have a few sparks of fire fly around.
Custom 3 Bomb Arrow An arrow that explodes on contact, no matter from floor or person. Travels about as far as a Searing Arrow.
Side Special Move Default Goron Roll Young Link puts on a Goron Mask, charges a little and then rolls around like a Goron. Link can turn around as a Goron rock and hit hard
Custom 1 Spiky Roll Young Link rolls around like a Goron, but spikes appear out of the rock body. Does more damage and goes faster, but goes out of control and can't turn as quickly.
Custom 2 Zora Spin Young Link puts on a Zora Mask and then spins like a Zora underwater, getting blade-like fins. Has more knockback and control, but goes slower and does less damage.
Custom 3 Zora Jump Young Link spins around like a Zora jumping out of the water like a dolphin. Has more knockback and deals more damage, but ultimately doesn't last as long nor can Young Link turn around mid-jump.
Up Special Move Default Deku Flight Young Link springs out of a Deku Flower while wearing a Deku Mask. The initial jump only does damage, and Young Link twirls two Flowers around like propellers to lessen the fall. Repeatedly pressing Up or the Jump button will ease the fall even a little further, and pressing Down causes link to ditch the flowers.
Custom 1 Super Deku Flight Young Link springs from a yellow Deku Flower to jump even higher, but the initial jump does less damage.
Custom 2 Power Deku Flight Young Link springs from a red Deku Flower to do more damage on the initial jump, but only provides one flower for the fall, which doesn't lessen the fall as much.
Custom 3 Far-Reach Deku Flight Young Link springs from a blue Deku Flower, which doesn't make Link jump as high, but it provides three flowers, which is enough to make it a horizontal recovery move.
Down Special Move Default Bomb Young Link throws a Bomb that detonates after a while or on contact. Unlike Link's and Toon Link's, its explosion hits multiple times.
Custom 1 Flying Bomb A light bomb that can be thrown very far, but does less damage than Young Link's regular bomb.
Custom 2 Rolling Bomb Young Link rolls his bomb rather than throwing it. The explosion is also larger but it doesn't have much knockback.
Custom 3 Bouncing Bomb A short-fused bomb that bounces around. It does more damage but its explosion is much smaller.
Final Smash Default Triforce Slash Similar to Link's Triforce Slash, Young Link traps a foe in a Triforce of light and hacks and slashes them, then delivering a final, powerful blow. The range is much larger, but Young Link doesn't deliver as much srikes
Custom Fierce Deity Young Link puts on the Fierce Deity Mask and temporarily transforms into Fierce Deity Link, increasing all of his attack's power and knockback, as well as not flinching from all attacks.
