Groundwork of EVANGELION (エヴァンゲリオン アニメーション原画集, Evangelion animēshon genga-shū?) is a series of books focused on the animation of the Evangelion TV series and films.

Groundwork of EVANGELION is a series of books that offers a large number of genga production and reproduction drawings. Some scenes are presented in a series of drawings detailing the animation of the scene.
In 2020, the first five volumes of the series were available digitally on Amazon.jp. The following year, two new books were published featuring new Neon Genesis Evangelion drawings and films.
