Draper's Creations

    This months Dragonfly Dreams challenge has the theme of indoor hobbies. When my children were young we often played card games but I hope they never got up to the tricks that this mouse is using!!!

   The decoupage for this image was printed using one of the CD ROMs from the House Mouse triple CD collection and the design paper was printed using the House Mouse Decoupage CD ROM. The letters were cut using Tattered Lace dies.

   I have made this card for someone who enjoys knitting. The image and background paper was printed using the CD ROM included with the House Mouse project book. The 'knitting needles' were made from two halves of a cocktail stick with a pearl stuck on one end of each. And yes the knitting was done using these needles.

     A House Mouse birthday card for an older relative! The decoupage was printed using a House Mouse CD ROM and matted onto gold mirri once made up. The playing card backing paper was printed using La Pashe's Wrinkles CD ROM and matted and layered onto gold mirri and white card.

   I have used a sheet from the House Mouse second food and drink decoupage pack and matted the made up image onto black card. I formed an easel card from cream card and on the base of this I matted and layered beige and brown card  and used one of the sentiments supplied matted on brown card as a stop. The other sentiment I added to the decoupaged image.

   The theme for the first Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge of 2020 is valentine or love cards.
   I printed a decoupage sheet using a House Mouse Design CD ROM and matted it onto blue card. The backgound paper was also printed using a House Mouse Design CD ROM and before matting it onto the same blue coloured card I wrapped dark crimson ribbon round it. I added some unused decoupage pieces to the bottom corner of the main image and also a sentiment which I matted onto crimson card.

   For this Christmas card I have used a decoupage sheet from the House Mouse food and drink set, matted it onto dark purple card and add loose purple glitter to the sprinkles being poured onto the cookie. The background paper, also matted onto the purple card, was printed using Tattered Lace's Over the Mantlepiece CD ROM.

   This is a card I made for my grand-daughter who has just received her GCSE results. The decoupaged image was  printed using a disc from the House Mouse Triple CD ROM collection and the design papers are from DCWV.

   Another card made with the cute House Mice. The decoupage pieces were printed using the the House Mouse Decoupage CD ROM and matted onto pink card and turquoise card which I turned slightly. The background design paper was printed using the CD RO from the House Mouse project book and matted and layered onto turquoise card and then white. I then decoupaged two of the little mice and added them to the edge of the design. The sentiment was cut from pink card using Tattered LAce dies.

   The theme for this fortnight's challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is here comes summer. I thought these sunbathing mice were just the thing for this topic.
   The image is made using a decoupage sheet from the House Mouse Silly Summer set which was produced by Joanna Sheen. The sunflower paper is a remnant from my stash. I had printed the sheet using a CD ROM some time ago so cannot remember which one it was. Both these items and the yellow card have been matted onto olive green card.

   Here is another card made using a paper printed from The House Mouse decoupage CD ROM. The mussical notes were snipped from a Tattered Lace diecut.

   The decoupaged house mouse image was printed using The House Mouse Decoupage CD ROM and I matted it onto pale blue mirri. The design paper is printed onto shimmery paper and I have had it in my stash for such a long time that I cannot remember which CD ROM I used to print it but I thought it matched the tulips perfectly.

   The challenge this time at Crafting From the Heart is just for fun so I have chosen to use an image from The House Mouse triple CD ROM which I decoupaged and matted and layered onto paper printed using the same CD ROM, lavender card and then white. I used an envelope punch to make the mini envelopes and used silver peel offs for the sentiment.
