Draper's Creations

   Another challenge begins today at QKR Stampede and as always the theme is anything goes.
   I folded a piece of purple card to form an easel card to the front of which I added the digi called Frame of Flowers which I had coloured using Promarkers. I added another piece of purple card to the easel base and edged it with copper strips of peel offs. I cut two flower arrangements using Sheena Douglas' adorable anemone die set. After colouring one of the arrangements I glued it to the second and attached it to the easel card using form pads to form the stop for the easel. I then added a copper peel off happy birthday.

   Just a little card made using the Digistamps4Joy digi called mom word with teddy. After colouring it using Promarkers I added borders made using Spellbinders classic ric rac dies to the top and bottom before matting and layering onto purple and then white card. The letters for the 'best' word were cut using Tattered Lace's alphabet circus dies.

   The theme for this fortnight's challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is birthdays.
   I matted pale green pearlescent card onto purple mirri and white card. To make the flower design I used Sheena Douglass' Adorable Anemone dies and stamps from the full bloom set. I stamped and cut several layers to build up a decoupaged image colouring them using Promarkers and added some flourishes cut from black card. The sentiment was also cut from black card using Tattered Lace's happy birthday swirl die.

   I have used the digi called It's party Time and after colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a die from Tattered Lace's side stepper card set. I matted it onto mirri card cut out using a die from the same set.
   The background is paper from a DCWV paper stack matted and layered onto mirri card and white card with the addition of words cut from mirri card using Tattered Lace's all occasions sentiments die set.

   The theme for this fortnights challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids is anything goes.
   I just love the alphabet bear digis form Lili of the Valley so have used them to begin my computer generated words. After colouring the design using Promarkers I matted and layered it onto red and then white card.  the balloons were cut from red card using a Tattered Lace die and slightly shaped before adding to the card.

   Another challenge at QKR Stampede begins today.
   Both my children read geology at university and this digi called scientist, which I coloured using Promarkers and matted onto black card, reminded me of them.
    To form the background of the card I attached different 'rock' papers from DCWV to black card which I then matted onto white card. I then added peel offs for the words and Glossy Accents to the glasses.

   Once again a new QKR Stampede challenge begins with the theme of anything goes.
   I matted paw print paper from my stash onto dark brown core'dinations card and after wrapping ribbon round the core'dinations card matted it onto white card. The digi image called happy dog was coloured using Promarkers and cut out using a tattered Lace pin dot  circle die. The bowl and bone embellishments were cut using dies from Tattered Lace's cuddly icons set. I added peel off words to the bones to form my sentiment. Lastly I added three card candi.

   A new challenge begins today at Crafty Cardmarkers the theme of which is water.
I have made a quick card decoupaging an image taken from Hunkydory's Little Square Book of Manly Moments, matting it onto navy mirri and white card. The sentiment is made from black peel offs.

   I know Easter has just past, but I thought I would start getting my cards ready for next year!
I matted pale purple card onto a darker shade and wrapped a narrow satin ribbon round the lower half. This was then matted onto white card. Using a Tattered Lace die I cut the sentiment from the darker card and attached it to the card. I coloured the digi image called bunny egg using Promarkers and after attaching to the card I added a bow and three small gems to the ribbon strip.

   I matted paper printed using the CD ROM 'Something for everyone' from La Pashe onto pink and then white card.
   The image called coffee break from The paper Shelter was coloured using Promarkers with the addition of Glossy Accents on the glasses. Using dies from Tattered Lace's decorative insert stepper set I created a frame from pink card to go round it.
   I used white peel off letters to create the sentiment.

   The first Saturday in the month sees the start of a fresh challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids. The theme for this on is anything goes with the option of 'for mum from kids'.
   I matted a piece of printed sunflower designed paper which I have had in my stash for sometime onto green card and wrapped green satin ribbon round it before matting onto white card. The image is from Beccy's Place called bucket of sunflowers to which I added the computer generated sentiment. After colouring it using Promarkers I added a little glitter to the pink flowers. I attached it to the card after cutting it out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die. o finish the card I added a green bow.

I matted scraps which I had printed using the CD ROMS Garden Shed from Card Creations Plus and Paws for Thought Volume 2 onto black and then white card and then added blue mirri for the pond. The digi image called bikini frog was coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut and attached to the card using glue gel. The butterflies were cut from pearlescent card using Tattered Lace dies.

   This month the challenge at Dragonfly Dreams is being sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy. The theme of the challenge is pink.
   I coloured the digi image called sweet tooth hedgehog using Promarkers and matted and layered it onto pink card, printed strawberry design paper lying around in my stash, darker pink card and white card twisting each layer in the opposite direction to the previous layer. I then edged the image using narrow green peel off strips and added a pink bow to the corner.
