Warlon is one of the Earthblood Elves who trained N'than to become a future Drakerider of the Drakewood.[1]
Team Zym[]
N'than meets Team Zym
N'than first met Team Zym when Azymondias was shot out of the sky by the Drakeriders of the Drakewood. After finding himself unable to hurt Zym and to claim him as his mount, N'than found out about the identity of the Dragon Prince and made up for his initial mistake by helping Team Zym to find Soren, who had been captured by the Drakeriders and thrown into the Pit of Despair.[2] After finding that Soren had escaped, N'than led Team Zym to the Path of Despair located inside the pit, having informed them that it would lead into Umber Tor, where they could find the lair of Rex Igneous. On this path, he led them through the three "Zones of Peril", where N'than educated them about magic gems and the dangers of each stage of the cave system.[3] After leading them through each zone successfully, he reminded them that Rex Igneous would expect sacrificial gifts. As they had failed to bring such gifts and faced Rex Igneous in his lair unprepared, N'than did his best to soothe the mighty dragon so he would hear them out for long enough to present their own treasured artifacts to him. While Team Zym tried to negotiate with Rex Igneous, N'than was ambushed by Claudia together with his new friends and put to sleep by a melody played on her flute.[4] As Rex Igneous believed to have been betrayed once he had awakened, N'than was forced to flee Umber Tor together with Team Zym, successfully making it out alive through the intervention of Zubeia, who prevented Rex Igneous from harming them by forcing him back into his lair. Throughout this journey, he had been increasingly kind and informative towards Team Zym, visibly enjoying their company, as well as respecting their cause.[5]
