"The Red Ribbon Army's Revival" (復活レッドリボン軍 Fukkatsu Reddo Ribon Gun) is the 91st chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga.
Summary[]
As Pan finishes her day at kindergarten, she is picked up by Piccolo on behalf of her parents who are preoccupied. With time to kill, the pair head to Piccolo's House where Pan shows an interest in becoming a superhero like Goten and Trunks who have recently had to give up their antics due to not studying enough. After bravely catching a frog that leaps off a cliff, Piccolo decides to begin training Pan.
At the Sunset City Police Department, Sergeant Nutz and Krillin give a presentation on the infamous Red Ribbon Army, Magenta, the president of Red Pharmaceuticals and a front for the revived Red Ribbon Army and Dr. Hedo who they have in their sights with the intention of recruiting him to create more powerful Androids for them. With Hedo being released from prison in three months' time, Sergeant Nutz believes that that will be the time when the Red Ribbon Army will try to recruit him. Meanwhile, at Red Pharmaceuticals, Carmine informs Magenta of the information he has obtained on Hedo and the pair vow to grab him when he's released from prison as he is needed to conquer the world.
Three months later Hedo is released from prison and sure enough Magenta and Carmine are there to greet him outside. However, Hedo is already aware of his identity, having found out information on him using his cyborg spy bot Hachimaru. As Hedo takes a ride with Magenta, Krillin waiting nearby decides to tail them so that they can find the location of their secret base.
Magenta explains to Hedo that their organization once had a relationship with his grandfather, Dr. Gero, and asks if Hedo would like to make Androids for them. However, Hedo is hesitant as it is not within his goals to conquer the world but to create the strongest androids of all time. After Magenta offers him a staggering one billion zeni for each android Hedo creates, the scientist agrees to ally himself with the Red Ribbon Army. Asking who the biggest obstacle standing in their way is, Magenta explains that it is the ones who took down Cell, a secret group of powerful extra-terrestrial warriors that appear to be connected to Bulma and Capsule Corporation and tells Hedo that he believes they are planning an invasion of Earth. This news only serves to spur Hedo on as he decides that superheroes are needed to combat this threat.
At the same time, Hedo having spotted Krillin tailing them, uses Hachimaru to attack Krillin who after letting his guard down is struck at full speed by the cyborg wasp and is taken out of commission, both losing track of the car and their chance to find their secret base.
A further six months later, Pan continues her training under Piccolo who notes that she appears to have more talent than her father. Still, the young quarter Saiyan finds herself frustrated at her lack of ability to both fire Ki Blasts or fly though Piccolo tells her that there is no need to rush as she is only three years of age. Following their day of training Pan offers Piccolo a bottle of water, and after questioning him about Gohan's latent power, heads off home. The next morning, Piccolo's own training is disturbed when Videl calls him up on the phone and asks him once more if she can pick Pan up from school, bribing him with another plushie.
Annoyed, Piccolo heads to Gohan's House where he demands to know what Gohan is doing that is so much more important than picking up his own daughter. After Gohan explains that he is doing a report about glowing ants, Piccolo suggests that Gohan continue his training as evil could show up at any time. Gohan casually waves the thought off when Piccolo suddenly attacks him and while Gohan blocks the first blow, he misses the second and takes a punch to the gut. Piccolo conjures up some Weighted Clothing for Gohan to wear and heads back home to train.
As he continues his training, Piccolo is disturbed once more when he is attacked by a mysterious assailant with Piccolo noticing the Red Ribbon Army logo on his sleeve.
