Kashvar are a race of power-hungry aliens that set out to kill all life other than their own. They are only seen in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon, when Tapion explains their origins. Hoi, the evil wizard that tricks the Dragon Team into releasing Tapion from his enchanted music box, is the last known member of the race to still be alive (according to him).
History[]
Not much is told about the Kashvar other than their belief that they are the dominant species of the universe, with all other life compared to them being scum and pathetic. More than one-thousand years before the events of Wrath of the Dragon, the Kashvar waged war on the Konatsians on their home planet of Konats. Tapion explains that using their evil magic, they brought the evil monster Hirudegarn back to life, and used the creature's destructive and awesome power to completely ravage the planet. By the near end of the war, almost half of Konatsian's population had been killed off.
It was not until an enchanted sword and two ocarinas were found that the tides turned. A powerful wizard, and two brothers, Tapion and Minotia, used these items to successfully slay the beast. The wizard then sealed the two halves in each of the brothers. Specialized enchanted music boxes were created to hide the brothers from the Kashvar. Tapion and Minotia were then sealed, and sent off into the far reaches of space, Minotia ending up on an unknown distant planet, and Tapion on Earth.
During the following millennium, the Kashvar are hunted down and brought to justice, either through imprisonment or death, until only one is left, Hoi (who refers to himself as the last of the Kashvar). During the battle against Hirudegarn on Earth, Hoi is stomped on, which kills him, (possibly) bringing the Kashvar race to final extinction, even though it was an accident.
