"Nannytee" is the first segment of the second episode of the Disney Channel animated series StuGo.
Synopsis[]
Oh the Hu-Nannytee! Lullah wants alone time and creates a Manatee-Nanny to watch the kids.
Plot[]
After the kids help Dr. Lullah drag her new package into her lab, she opens it to reveal that it is a jet ski. Pliny is disappointed that Dr. Lullah will not offer them much else to do and insists that she fulfill her task of being an efficient camp counselor, despite the fact that she isn't one. Dr. Lullah reveals that she created the Nannytee, a manatee with enhanced intelligence that maneuvers in a portable tank. The Nannytee randomly gives them activities to do and rewards them with gold star stickers. The kids become obsessed with getting them, except for Francis who is emotionally unmoved by such a short sighted reward.
Dr. Lullah spends most of her time enhancing her jet ski for her own amusement, while the kids continue to obsessively collect stars by partaking in various activities. Francis continues to ignore or avoid interacting with the Nannytee and goes to Dr. Lullah several times to inform her of the cyborg animal's rather malicious personality and manipulation of her friends. Dr. Lullah refuses to listen and continues to make adjustments to her jet ski. Eventually, the Nannytee orders the children to use papier-mâché to build something, later revealed to be a giant, fully mechanical laser cannon of some kind.
Francis finally convinces Dr. Lullah to pay attention and realizes that the Nannytee is plotting to destroy her (apparently not the first time it happened). Dr. Lullah and Francis team up and use the jet ski to take out the rest of the kids, but the cannon is still operational. After a moment of moral decision making, Dr. Lullah decides to ride her jet ski into the cannon's entry way, revealing that the whole thing was a ruse by the Nannytee to get Dr. Lullah's jet ski for itself. Dr. Lullah is disappointed over the fact that she had a make such a drastic sacrifice, but Francis congratulates her by giving her a gold star.
