This article is about the character from Star Wars. For other characters, see Morgan (disambiguation).

Years ago, my people were all but destroyed. Our culture, our beliefs, are fading into memory. Yes, I seek power to ensure my future, to destroy my enemies. My anger gives me strength, and it is that strength I offer the Empire.
―Morgan Elsbeth to Admiral Thrawn[src]

Morgan Elsbeth is a character, who appears in the Star Wars franchise. She is a Nightsister who survived the massacre of her people. Fueled by anger and vengeance, she became instrumentally involved in the construction of the Imperial Navy, and a dedicated follower of Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Background[]

Physical appearance[]

Morgan Elsbeth has brownish-grey hair (originally dark brown when she was young), green eyes, tan skin, and bore black face tattoos. She wears red and black Nightsister robes, as well as a brown utility belt with a concealed rope, brown pants, and black boots.

Personality and traits[]

Morgan is known for her vindictive and ruthless personality molded with the pain of losing her mother and fellow Nightsisters at the hands of General Grievous. Her vengeance and anger led her to a life dedicated to the conquest of numerous worlds, for the sole benefit of the Imperial Navy. The lives of innocent people mean nothing to her, as she is willing to either sacrifice or torture them as leverage against her enemies.

Morgan is also holds genuine allegiance to her concealed master, Thrawn, being very protective of her knowledge of the Grand Admiral's whereabouts. When Morgan reunited with the Admiral on Peridea, she proclaimed herself to be forever his loyal servant.

Morgan is also an expert shipbuilder who was responsible for helping create the Imperial Starfleet, including the TIE Defender. A true testament to her industrial and technological skills is a gigantic hyperspace ring known as the Eye of Sion, capable of traveling through hyperspace past the intergalactic void all the way to a distant galaxy, a considerably astonishingly feat given that most considered extragalactic travel to be next to impossible.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Magick: Morgan Elsbeth is versed in Nightsister magick, an aspect of the Force. After receiving both the Gift of Shadow and the Blade of Talzin from the Great Mothers, Morgan's power and skill rose substantially, making her more equally matched against more powerful opponents.
  • Expert Combatant: Morgan Elsbeth is fierce and deadly in hand-to-hand combatant and melee combat, managing to defeat Rukh and go toe-to-toe with Ahsoka Tano.

Weapons and equipment[]

  • Beskar spear: A weapon made of pure Beskar, a metal alloy tied with Mandalorian culture. The staff was durable enough to block and deflect Lightsaber blows. It was even capable of piercing Mandalorian armor. Morgan wielded this weapon until it was taken by the Mandalorian Din Djarin. Since Beskar was only for armor, not weapons, according to Mandalorian culture, Djarin had the Armorer melt the spear and reforged into a garment for Grogu.
  • Star Map: Morgan has a compass beneath the ruins of an ancient temple on Arcana. Ahsoka Tano recovers a delicate star map in the form of a puzzle-like sphere. Once unlocked, the device can reveal a pathway to Peridea located in another galaxy, matching the hyperspace migrations of the noble Purrgil as well as providing a chance to locate Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger.
  • Blade of Talzin: After receiving the Gift of Shadow, Morgan was also gifted the Blade of Talzin, a flaming green ichor sword.

Trivia[]

  • Morgan shares her name with the witch Morgan le Fay from Arthurian legend.
