The Captain of the Guard is a character from the Timon & Pumbaa TV series who makes his first and only appearance in the episode "Once Upon a Timon".

Physical Description[]
The Captain of the Guard has orange-tinged brown fur, a white underbelly, dark stripes on his back, a black nose, and black eyes with yellow sclerae. He also wears a gray hat with green feathers on top.
Personality[]
The Captain of the Guard is exceptionally strict and serious. He does not tolerate a guard abandoning his post, especially if the result is disastrous and tragic.

"Once Upon a Timon"[]
As the Duke Meerkat exited the front gate, the Captain of the Guard saluted him. Later, after Tatiana was kidnapped, the Captain of the Guard questioned how this could have happened, and Fred pointed out that no one ever got through the back gate. This made the Captain of the Guard realize that Timon was not with the other guards. He, along with the other guards, confirmed their suspicions about Timon abandoning his post and later chased after him upon finding him.

The Captain of the Guard was voiced by Jim Cummings, who also voiced Ed in The Lion King series, as well as providing Scar's voice in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Simba's Mighty Adventure, and Fantasmic!. He also voiced Boaris and many other characters in Timon & Pumbaa.
