Shauku

Shauku is a character that appears in The Lion Guard.

Personality[]

Shauku is shown to be spirited and playful. He likes pretending to be a member of the Lion Guard, and believes that this game is more fun to play when he and his friends can chase someone. He is somewhat more reserved than his friends, and doesn't speak as frequently.

Role in the Series[]

Follow That Hippo![]

Shauku and his friends are playing pretend Lion Guard. When Mtoto calls out "hyena attack." All of the animals start to panic until the Lion Guard comes. Kion soon notices the younger Pride Landers. The group explains their game to the Lion Guard. Kion says that it's not a good time to be hyenas. Mtoto asks if the real Lion Guard could play with them. However Kion says that they have training.

When Mtoto comes back from training with the Guard they decide to play their game. However Janja's Clan chases them. Shauku and his friends warn Beshte about Mtoto.

After hearing Mtoto's story Kion gives him the Mark of the Guard. The rest of his friends asks Kion for their Mark of Guard.

Ono's Idol[]

Shauku is seen playing with Young Rhino and Mtoto. Until a bunch of birds come flying through the sky. Thinking that they're vultures, Mtoto says that they need the Lion Guard. The Lion Guard soon come up and figure out what's going on.

Mtoto, Gumba, Kwato And Kambuni[]

Shauku is good friends with them. He loves playing pretend Lion Guard with them. When Mtoto went to hang out with Beshte and the rest of the Guard, Shauku thought it was cool.

Shauku cares about his friends, and will seek out the Lion Guard when they are in trouble, as seen by his actions when Mtoto was chased by Janja and his henchmen.

Young Rhino[]

Young Rhino and Shauku are good friends. Shauku and Young Rhino are looking for Mtoto when he comes up and surprises them.

Kion, Bunga, Fuli, Beshte and Ono[]

Shauku sees the Lion Guard as his idols, and trusts them fully. He is happy to comply with their requests.

He is incredibly excited when Kion offers them all a special Mark of the Guard for their bravery.

Enemies[]

Janja's Clan[]

While chasing a group of hyraxes, Janja and his clan start chasing Shauku and his friends while they are playing pretend Lion Guard. They all get away but Mtoto doesn't.

Shauku and his friends went to warn Beshte, and Beshte saved Mtoto.
