Digimon Adventure: (デジモンアドベンチャー： Dejimon Adobenchā:?), known on Crunchyroll as Digimon Adventure: (2020) to avoid confusion with the original series, is the ninth Digimon anime series. It is a reboot of Digimon Adventure set in a parallel world from the original anime,[2] and began airing on April 5, 2020.[1] On April 19, 2020, the series was put on indefinite hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic,[3] but it restarted its broadcast run from the first episode starting June 7.[4]
During Digimon Con on February 27, 2022, it was announced that an English dub of Adventure: would begin airing soon. The first two episodes aired as special preview at Toei Animation's both at the Anime NYC 2022 event on November 19, 2022.[5] Digimon Museum 25th Anniversary Guidebook, a book sold during the Digimon Fan Meetup event on February 25, 2023 stated that the dub would air in Spring 2023.[6] All 67 episodes were released in one batch at once on April 13, 2023 on the Microsoft Store. The series is also available to be streamed on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Hoopla.

In July 2020, Toei Animation Europe stated Adventure: would run for 66 episodes[7] however on September 2, 2021, Bandai's calendar for September 2021 revealed the series would run beyond the originally announced 66 episodes[8] with the September 9, 2021 TV Guide listings confirming the series would end after 67 episodes.

A week after airing on Japanese TV, episodes streamed on Netflix Japan. Crunchyroll ran a subtitled simulcast of Adventure: an hour after its episode broadcast in Japan.[18]
All 67 episodes of the American English dub were made available on the Microsoft Store on April 13, 2023 followed by Hulu on July 1.

Miscellaneous trivia
- Unlike all previous localized Digimon animated media, the American English dub of Digimon Adventure: dubs some of the Japanese openings and endings rather than creating new songs. Rather than dub over all of them though, they only dubbed over two of the five ending songs and used two songs during its duration rather than the five.
