That damn Multiverse is nothing but trouble.
Infinite Frontier #1 is an issue of the series Infinite Frontier (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 2021. It was published on June 22, 2021.
Synopsis for "Infinite Mystery"
On Earth 23, a space capsule crash lands in the middle of a field. An elderly couple find it and discover a wounded and unconscious Batman inside, but not the Batman of their world. Realising he must come from another world in the Multiverse they call their son Calvin Ellis, aka Superman, the President of the United States and leader of Justice Incarnate.
Meanwhile on Earth 0 the Totality are fighting Extant, who is trying to manipulate the timeline. Newest member Alan Scott hits him with an energy construct of a train before he can do any damage. Alan has to rush off as he is already late to an appointment with his children. In Gotham City he meets up with his son Obsidian, who is also running late, and they head to the old JSA headquarters where Jade is waiting for them. Just before they go in, an explosion of green energy rips through the building. The two switch into their costumes and run in looking for her, but Todd's psychic link to Jennie has been severed and he has no idea where she has gone.
In Paris, Director Bones tracks down Cameron Chase to reactivate her. Now that the Multiverse is common knowledge the DEO has been reinstated and is working to prevent another trans-dimensional event. Chase initially refuses but is forced to accept when Bones shows her something on his phone.
At the Hall of Heroes, Batman wakes up. He is an alternate version of Thomas Wayne from a timeline accidentally created by the Barry Allen of Earth 0. He needs to talk to Barry but he is currently away on a mission, trying to use his superspeed to travel to the new reality Earth Omega. Barry races across the known 52 realities and eventually manages to jump to Earth Omega, where he finds the dead bodies of the Quintessence. Before he can investigate he is attacked by the Psycho-Pirate, who has been granted new powers by Darkseid. Psycho-Pirate tells Barry that another crisis is coming, and Barry will help them find the person Darkseid needs.
Back on Earth 0, Roy Harper is eating in a diner. He overhears a young woman arguing with her parents, as she remembers the recent crisis but they do not, believing it is mass hysteria. A young man in the next booth interjects and says that he also remembers and his parents do not, it seems that only young people can remember what happened to reality. An agitated middle aged man begins shouting at them, he refuses to believe the Multiverse is real and thinks it is a conspiracy concocted by the superheroes. Roy tries to remove the man, but before he can a new villain called X-Tract blasts through the wall of the diner. X-Tract says Roy does not belong in the new reality, and plans to capture him and kill any witnesses.
Roy fights off X-Tract's henchmen while the bystanders escape but the conspiracy theorist is frozen with fear. X-Tract attempts to shoot the man and Roy tackles him to the ground, taking a bullet in the arm. Roy passes out but mysterious figures appear and fight off the attackers. Roy regains consciousness and realises to his shock that he is wearing a Black Lantern uniform and power ring, and the “people” who saved him are actually energy constructs of himself from various points in his life.

Notes
- According to Barry Allen, this issue takes place at least a few weeks after the epilogue of Infinite Frontier #0.
- As Psycho-Pirate has already allied himself with Darkseid, this story takes also place not long after the ending of Infinite Frontier Secret Files #6.
- Roy's past selves, who appear as energy constructs, imply that all of his stories from the Pre-Crisis and Pre-Flashpoint continuities have been restored into the current timeline following its unknotting.
- Following the Rebirth of the Multiverse, Earth 2 Helena Wayne has seemingly returned to being Huntress, some time after becoming Batman in Earth 2: Society #22.
Trivia
- The resident of Earth 0 experiencing visions of past continuities was originally foreshadowed by Lex Luthor in the epilogue of Dark Nights: Death Metal #7.
- The reasons behind Cameron Chase rejoining the D.E.O. are revealed in Infinite Frontier #6.
- Machinehead saying that Thomas Wayne is a cosmic anomaly is obviously a nod to the undoing of the Flashpoint Timeline in Batman (Volume 3) #22 and having been displaced to Prime Earth by Eobard Thawne before being erased from existence.
- Mister Bones asks Cameron Chase if she knows about a "Super-God from another world" and the many alterations he caused which is obviously a reference to Doctor Manhattan,
- Cameron Chase replies "Which one?" to him which is presumably a reference to the Super-Celestial, Perpetua.
- Earth 2 Huntress is shown wearing the same costume originally worn by her Earth-Two counterpart.
