Pandora is a figure from Greek myths. The first human woman, created by Hephaestus and Athena, she was burdened with the Pandora's Box. Both she and her box have appeared sporadically in retellings of the myth until Flashpoint, where is fleshed out more. She is cursed by the Circle of Eternity to walk the Earth for all eternity to witness the evils she unleashed. She is a member of the Trinity of Sin and a major player in the Trinity War.
An unrelated character named Pandora is an android created by the hero Vulcan and an assistant to his successor, Son of Vulcan.
Pandora from greek mythology was first adapted by Henry Kiefer in the "Myths of Gods and Men" of New Comics #5 (1936).
