Quelaag's Furysword is a curved sword in Dark Souls.
In-Game Description
- A curved sword born from the soul of Quelaag, daughter of the Witch of Izalith, who was transformed into a chaos demon. Like Quelaag's body, the sword features shells, spikes, and a coating of chaos fire. Power affected by wielder's humanity.
Availability[]
Quelaag's Furysword is created by modifying any Standard +10 curved sword or curved greatsword with the Soul of Quelaag. This can only be achieved at the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo.
Characteristics[]
Quelaag's Furysword is a fast, light weapon, capable of quickly racking up damage in exchange for low staggering power. Quelaag's Furysword deals mostly fire damage, but still deals physical damage. As it mostly inflicts fire damage and has very low physical damage output, players using Flash Sweat or wearing fire-resistant armor can easily shrug off most of the damage.
Quelaag's Furysword suffers greatly reduced attack damage from opponents with high defense. Since its attack is divided into two different damage categories, both of its damage types are reduced significantly making this weapon a poor choice for PvE.
Quelaag's Furysword's damage output scales with Humanity, with the scaling increasing up to 10 held humanity. This is a hard requirement for a lot of players to meet outside of PvP.
Scaling Percentages[]
- Strength - 8%
- Dexterity - 94%
- Intelligence - 0%
- Faith - 0%
