West Bengal - West Bengal West Bengal is a state of the Republic of India. Its capital is Kolkata. The state is bordered by ► Bhutan, and ► Sikkim to the north, ► Assam and ► Bangladesh to the east, ► Bihar and ► Jharkhand, and ► Nepal to the west, and Bay of Bengal and ► Odisha to the south. Together with Bangladesh, it makes up the ethno-linguistic region of Bengal.
