Ahsoka Tano is a Star Wars minifigure based on the Jedi apprentice of the same name. First appearing in 2008, Ahsoka has appeared in 16 sets across three subthemes.

Description[]

2008-2010 Variant[]

The First variant of Ahsoka represents the character as she appears in Seasons 1 and 2 in The Clone Wars. Her skin colour is orange and is shown on her head, arms and parts of her torso. Ahsoka's head is orange with some white markings to the left and right of her mouth and above the eyes, representing the natural white skin pigmentation on the Togruta species. Ahsoka's eyes are white with blue irises and black pupils. Black eyelashes are printed on the top eyelids. Her mouth has smiling lips printed on. On top of the head is a special piece currently exclusive the Ahsoka minifigure. The piece is white with dark blue stripes and features lekku, or head-tails, at the bottom, which fall in front of the torso, and small montrals, which are seen as small points on the top of the piece. Ahsoka's green headdress is also on the piece and is printed in green. The torso is mainly orange and has printing of a neckline above a horizontal brown strip of cloth. Below that is printing of a belt with a gold buckle, a pouch and two capsules. Both the hips and hands are brown and her legs are light grey.

2013 Variant[]

Ahsoka's 2013 variant wears the same headdress and a similar head piece as the first. The difference in the facial printing comes in the form of a scowl on one side, with the other featuring a wider smile than the original variant. Her torso piece is brown and, unlike the previous variant, covers most of the skin. However, a small triangular splash of orange is located in the center of the chest and two slivers of orange are located at the sides, representing armholes. Ahsoka's arms are orange and her hands brown. Armholes are also printed on the back of the torso, as is a hole in the back, with orange printing used to represent skin. Feminine curves are located on either side of the torso and a dark brown belt with a lighter coloured buckle is located at the bottom, just above the hips. These features are continued over to the back of the torso as well, with a utility pouch printed on in the center of the back of the belt. The hips themselves, which are a lighter brown than the legs, continue the buckle pattern and have printing of a small pouch on each side. In the center of the legs, split into three parts, is printing of a purple flap of cloth with swirling and curved markings. Included with this minifigure are two green-bladed ligthsabers with silver hilts.

2016 Variant[]

Ahsoka has changed alot since her last minifigure, being that her skin tone is a darker shade of orange, and they changed her face to have completely blue eyes, her clothing matches that of the one she wears in rebels, with gray arms, her torso is also gray, with some prints showcasing her neck, she also uses feminne curves like her last minifigure, her hips and lehgs are brown with some printing to match how she looks in rebels, she reuses the old hilts from Asajj Ventress to match her curved lightsabers during rebels, she also uses blue lightsaber blades, however, it is a different shade to the regular ones we get.

2020 Variant[]

Ahsoka hasn't actually changed much since her rebels variant, however, they swapped the skin tone back to the same one from her old variants, her clothing matches the one she wears in Season 7, and like her past two variants, she uses feminne curves, her arms are now orange with some light gray hands, her lekku is the same as her rebels version, with some different printing, she also uses blue lightsabers to match the ones she uses in Season 7.

2023-2024 Variant[]

Ahsoka has changed quite a bit since her last minifigure, she now has a shorter lekku with a slightly different face print, she now has arm printing with some gray hands, her torso and leg printing matches her appearance during the Mandalorian and Ahsoka series, with feminne curves, her leg printing represents her baggy jeans she wears during Ahsoka with some printing which look like feet due to her shoes during the shows, despite her lightsabers being the same as her rebels sabers in canon, she sticks to regular lightsaber blades, just that she has clear lightsaber blades to represent her white ones.

2024 Variant[]

Ahsoka hasn't changed that much since her last variant, being that all of her printing was made white to match her appearance as Ahsoka the white during Episode 5 onwards, some of her printing does use a light yellow, and her feet has changed as her shoes changed with this appearance, her lekku is the exact same but her head piece has changed to a metal crown like thing to match her appearance during the show, other then that, she has no differences.

2025 Variant[]

This is the first minifigure which is a redesign of a previous variant, being her 2013 variant. She uses the same lekku as the previous two Ahsokas, with differences being, the blue stripes are thicker and the headband is replaced for her golden akul-tooth headdress and silka beads to match her padawan appearance. She also uses a new face similar to the one on her 2020 variant, with some minor differences. Her outfit is now color inverted from her 2013 variant; her torso is now dark red with a reddish brown belt print, with some better printing quality, she still uses feminine curves, however, she now lacks arm printing, whereas her 2023 and 2024 variants have arm printing. Her joint is now reddish-brown, continuing her belt print. Her hands are dark brown. This is the first time Ahsoka has been seen with medium legs, which are dark red, to make her look more like a teenager. Her legs feature her hemline print as well as her Togruta sash and black leggings. Lastly, her lightsabers haven't changed since 2013.

In Video Games[]

Ahsoka makes her first video game appearance in LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. Ahsoka's appearance is based on her first physical variant, but her eyes are changed to black dot-eyes, with white pupils and less detailed eyelashes. Like most Jedi, she has the ability to perform a lightsaber throw, attack and deflect lasers with her lightsaber, perform a double-jump, use the Force to attack and build objects, perform actions that only lightsaber wielders can in specified areas, and jump up sets of walls by burying her lightsaber in one wall and leaping to the next. Ahsoka performs attacks with her lightsaber with a reverse grip, reflecting the style she commonly uses in The Clone Wars series.

Ahsoka later appeared as part of the Rebels DLC pack for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. As the name of the pack suggests, Ahsoka has her appearance from the series Star Wars Rebels.

Ahsoka is part of The Mandalorian Season 2 DLC pack for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

LEGO Fortnite[]

Ahsoka is a skin in-game that was available in the Chapter 4: Season 4 Battle Pass, which could be purchased for 950 V-Bucks, her appearance is the exact same as her 2023-2024 lego minifigure.

Background[]

At a young age, Ahsoka was discovered by Jedi Master Plo Koon and raised in the Jedi Temple. Later, when she became Anakin Skywalker's Padawan, she followed her Master on several missions. Her first adventure with Anakin was delivering Rotta the Huttlet back to his father. She also fought in the Second Battle of Geonosis along with her Master, Luminara Unduli and her Padawan, Barriss Offee. Ahsoka also had a role in capturing the bounty hunters Bossk, Aurra Sing, and Boba Fett when they held hostages on Florrum. As the Clone Wars progressed, Ahsoka took to using a shoto (shortened lightsaber) along with her regular blade.

Later, she was framed for blowing up the Jedi Temple Hanger and murdering the bomber. With the help of an unseen person, she escaped her cell and sought refuge in the Coruscant underworld, where she teamed up with Asajj Ventress and, with the help of Barriss Offee at the Jedi Temple, found what appeared to be clues that she hoped would lead to the real murderer. She was later captured by Commander Wolffe after dueling with a masked assailant wielding Ventress's lightsabers. The Jedi Council expelled her from the order and Ahsoka was put on trial by the Senate. The cry for the death sentence gained overwhelming support until Anakin, who had been attempting to track down the true mastermind, revealed that Barriss, Ahsoka's one-time friend, was guilty of both the temple bombing and attacking Ahsoka. The trial dealt with Barriss from then on and Ahsoka was offered a place back in the Jedi Order. After considering, however, she refused, as she felt alienated that the Jedi Council hadn't trusted her and she wanted to sort her thoughts on her own.

Following her departure from the Jedi Order. She found work with sisters Trace and Rafa Martez and is recruited by Bo-Katan Kryze to help her free Mandalore from Darth Maul. After getting half of the 501st from Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex and Bo-Katan were able to free Mandalore but Ahsoka is forced to let Maul go when she and Rex get targeted by the clones during Order 66 forcing them into hiding.

14 years after the creation of the Galactic Empire, she was involved in a rebel movement, and worked with Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan, under the code name 'Fulcrum'. She communicated frequently with rebel cells around the galaxy, and she soon came across the Lothal rebels. She provided them with enemy intelligence crucial to attack the Empire in certain missions. During the rescue of Kanan Jarrus, the leader of the Lothal rebels, the rebels lost their stolen Gozanti-class cruiser, making them unable to jump to hyperspace. The rebels were attacked by armadas of TIE fighters and Star Destroyers, however, Chopper unexpectedly brought in The Ghost and 3 CR-90 corvettes to aid them. Briefly unbeknownst to the rebels, the assistance was from Senator Organa and Fulcrum, the latter being inside The Ghost. Once the rebels were safely away from The Sovereign, Fulcrum revealed herself to actually be Ahsoka Tano, former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, and then informed them that there is a much wider rebel network out there in the galaxy, and that the Lothal rebels were one of the many rebel cells.

Ahsoka helps the Lothal rebels battle the Empire. During a mission to Malachor with Kanan and Ezra Bridger, she duels Darth Vader whom she discovers is also Anakin. She is saved by a future of Ezra in the World Between Worlds before returing to Malachor. A few years later, she joins Sabine Wren to search for Ezra who disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn. During her search, she encounters The Mandalorian whom she helps connect with Grogu. She and Sabine find Ezra but are stranded in Peridea.

Notes[]

  • Ahsoka is one of two Togruta that have been released as minifigures, the other being Shaak Ti. Ashla is another Togruta but was never released in physical form.
  • For the minifigure's first two variations, the same headgear piece is used for her lekku, but the Rebels variant instead uses the headgear piece originally made for Shaak Ti, albeit with different printing. This piece is also reused for her commander variant, where it is printed with yet another different design.
  • The 2013 and 2021 variants, which are based on the character's appearances in Clone Wars seasons 3 through 7, each come with a pair of lightsabers that are both standard-length. However, in Clone Wars, one of the two lightsabers Ahsoka uses is shorter than a regular lightsaber.
  • Ahsoka's Fulcrum variation comes with blue-bladed lightsabers, but the lightsabers she uses in the show are white.
  • Ahsoka's original 2008 lekku headpiece had green printing for her akul-tooth headress, her current redesigned piece has accurate gold printing. The original green color was most likely due to early promo images of her light saber reflecting upon them.
  • In the shows, Ahsoka was voiced by Ashley Eckstein, who also voiced Cheetah in the DC Super Hero Girls franchise, while in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka, she's played by Rosario Dawson who voiced Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie.
