Appearance[]
Tennis Ball, as his name suggests, is a soft tennis ball with painted stripes. His main body/felt is a lemon lime, and his stripes are white.
Changes[]
Early BFDI
- Tennis Ball's shade is poorly drawn.
- His stripes cut through his yellow outline.
- A thin line of red is visible at the edge of his stripe as a result of poor PNG importing.
BFDI
- The red lines in his outline have been fixed.
Late BFDI—BFDIA
- Tennis Ball's shade is smoother.
- His stripes are now inside of his outline.
- His base shape is slightly rotated (about 27 degrees clockwise).
BFDIA 5d-8
- Tennis Ball's shade gains a more greenish tint.
- His outline is darker.
BFDIA 8-9
- Tennis Ball is pink due to Pencil's Paint Shooter.
BFDIA 9+
- Tennis Ball is yellow again after being recovered.
Designs[]
Personality[]
Tennis Ball is known to be intelligent and ideal for solving problems and creating new innovations, such as grotatoes. Unfortunately, he is somewhat clumsy because of his size and the fact that he's armless. He is also cautious and prefers to think first before making most decisions.
BFDI[]
He is a nice character overall and is generally more polite and less controlling than Golf Ball. He appears to like being close to her because there is a platonic relationship going on between the two, as stated by Golf Ball herself in "Take the Plunge: Part 2". He is a very calm character but can be rude to people if pushed, and has his moments of being assertive and raising his usually monotone and nasally voice when losing patience.
BFDIA[]
Tennis Ball shows an insecure side when Gelatin says that he cannot make good inventions, in "Catch These Hands". When he gets a chance to speak to Gelatin, he lashes out since he believes he is always seen as inferior to Golf Ball because his inventions never work. This is in stark contrast to his typical calm and quiet personality, showing that he is insecure about how people feel about him and his inventions compared to someone like Golf Ball.
IDFB[]
Tennis Ball can be passionate when something sparks his interest. Initially hesitant about entering the science museum, Tennis Ball's change in attitude upon discovering the wall teleporter demonstrates his genuine curiosity and interest in science and technology. He could tell that Golf Ball has been acting strangely, showing that he is attentive to the behavior of those around him. While Tennis Ball clearly wants to stay and explore more of the museum, he ultimately respects Golf Ball’s decision to leave. His comment about her irrational decision isn’t made to mock her, but rather to highlight how unusual it is for her. This suggests he’s both concerned for her and supportive, even when he disagrees with her choice.
BFB[]
Tennis Ball seems torn between his friendship with Golf Ball and his duty to the team. While he is clearly loyal to 8-Ball and the team, his long history with Golf Ball makes it difficult for him to fully reject her. This inner conflict suggests that while Tennis Ball values rules and order, he struggles when they conflict with personal relationships.
He is also aware of his relationship with the viewers and can be manipulative of that fact, such as in "Get to the Top in 500 Steps" when he tells Flower people will vote for her if she pushes him off of the stairs. This shows that Tennis Ball can be tactical when it benefits him. His suggestion wasn’t just a throwaway line; it was a deliberate attempt to manipulate Flower into hesitating or doubting her decisions, suggesting that Tennis Ball knows how to read situations and twist them to his advantage.
TPOT[]
Tennis Ball comes across as a character who values accuracy, is resourceful in challenging situations, and is also supportive of his teammates, showing a mix of practicality and empathy. His mistakes, while minor, humanize him and make him more relatable. His role in fixing and using the trebuchet in "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?" indicates his importance to the team, as he is the one providing a tool necessary for their success in the challenge. Even though the plan doesn't work as intended (flinging the team back and forth), his efforts ultimately contribute to the team's victory, especially when Puffball steps in to help.
Him being separate from Golf Ball in "What's Up Bell's String?" marks a pivotal moment for Tennis Ball, as he must adjust and lead a new team without her. His idea to use glue as a strategy to trap other teams is practical but also backfires. His attempts to solve the situation—like gluing himself and TV together to "stick together"—end up causing more problems, showing his tendency to overthink and accidentally worsen situations. However, he redeems himself in "Category One" after upgrading TV and giving him a metal base with wheels. He uses the refurbished TV to his team's advantage in order to distract a giant David so his teammates could lull him to sleep with milk.
Official Character Guide biography[]
Tennis Ball is curious, which is why he's always asking questions. He is easily amused by trivia, especially information that pertains to math. He doesn't shy away from speaking up if he knows the facts. His other hobbies include cooking rice cakes and enjoying rhymes.
He always hangs out with Golf Ball, but he lets her take the lead. Tennis Ball doesn't get along with the Announcer, who always seems to bully him for being clumsy.
Did You Know?: Despite everyone calling him clumsy, Tennis Ball is exceptionally talented at tightrope walking, especially when bandaged to others.
Abilities[]
- High intelligence: Alongside Golf Ball, Tennis Ball is one of the most intelligent contestants, but unlike her, his intelligence is more based on logic and reason instead of pure mathematics. He frequently assists Golf Ball in formulating plans and strategies. In addition, he seems to have a knack for inventing devices. He invented Grotatoes for Fries, built a trebuchet to assist his team in "Getting Teardrop to Talk" and "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", and was familiar with the Wall Teleporter.
- Bounciness: Due to his physical structure as a sentient tennis ball, Tennis Ball is quite bouncy, a trait which he uses for quick transportation in "Welcome Back" and helps him survive a fall after being pushed off a flight of stairs in "Get to the Top in 500 Steps" and falling of another flight of stairs in "Lofty".
- Self-resurrection: In "Well Rested", although he died eating the electric yoyleberries, he later came back to life to say something, then died again.
- Lip-reading: Although more of a skill, in "Catch These Hands", he is shown to be able to read other people's lips, like Book.
- Sticky Saliva: In PointyPointyPointy ♫, Tennis Ball spits in a jar and uses his saliva as glue. This shows that his saliva has glue-like properties and can stick things together.
- Limb extension: notably in Well Rested tennis ball's legs extended to Space,to talk some Sense into Puffball for dropping Them in the last episode
- Super Strength: in Intruder Alert we see him and Golf Ball knock down an tree with ease.
- Matter Creation: In Meaty, we see him creating a satellite dish out of nothing using his legs, likely due to being an inventor.

Battle for Dream Island[]
In "Take the Plunge: Part 1", Tennis Ball tells Teardrop to calm down after she kicks Woody because doing so could result in severely injuring him since he is balsa. After Snowball throws Rocky, he falls and hits Tennis Ball, calling him his "good ol' friend". During the balancing contest, Tennis Ball stops himself from falling off the end of the beam. Tennis Ball is one of the first to fall off after Flower pushes him and several others, claiming she needs her space.
In "Take the Plunge: Part 2", Tennis Ball is picked by Leafy to be on the Squashy Grapes since she states that Tennis Ball is smart. He then is one of the three people, along with Needle and Leafy, to pick Golf Ball on their team. After that, he then states how Flower won't be as much of a threat if she is on their side, which results in her getting chosen for their team. When Golf Ball agrees with Tennis Ball about Flower, Coiny teases her about having a crush on him, but Golf Ball states she only likes Tennis Ball in a platonic way.
During the challenge, Tennis Ball helps Teardrop and Ice Cube carry a piece of the boat that they're building. As the boat sails away with Leafy, Ice Cube, and Coiny, he attempts to get into the boat, however, it is too far away. He begins to swim toward the boat and reaches it, however, Coiny starts the motor, which pushes Tennis Ball away from the boat, and he is left behind. Despite this, he, along with the rest of his team, floats through the canal on top of Spongy after he is thrown overboard from the Squishy Cherries boat.
In "Barriers and Pitfalls", Tennis Ball, Match, Golf Ball, Teardrop, Needle, Spongy, Rocky, Firey, Woody, and Flower are scooped up in a net and returned after being left drifting in the canal after the previous episode. At Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball only receives one vote and is safe.
During the obstacle course, Tennis Ball kicks Rocky into the air to prevent a collision with Woody and then kicks Golf Ball over the barrier. Since he doesn't have arms, Tennis Ball can't cross the barrier by climbing it. When the Squishy Cherries arrive after looking for Blocky, Tennis Ball orders them to throw him over the barrier. Match, Pencil, and Bubble attempt to throw him over, but he hits the top of it, breaking it off, and making Pin (who was stuck on top) fall. While stuck at the bottom of the rock wall with Golf Ball, he spots a platform off to the right of the wall, where they can walk across. After getting past the wall, they try to jump over the pit but hit Bubble and fall into the "Failers' Waiting Room".
In "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?", Tennis Ball tells Rocky that he has to learn how to write, explaining that he and Golf Ball know how to, stating that "no arms is no excuse." In turn, Rocky kicks him, which sends him rolling, unable to stop. He rolls down a hill into flames, which sends him flying. He lands in a Woody-shaped hole, which contains Woody, Coiny, and Eraser as well, but he is too big to fit, so Pin attempts to shove him down inside the hole. In the stinger, he complains that he has to go to the bathroom, but he is stuck in the hole still.
In "Sweet Tooth", Tennis Ball finishes making his rice cake extremely fast and shows it to Golf Ball. When Coiny argues with Announcer that his dirt cake is better than the ice cake that was served at Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball notices that "ice cake" rhymes with "rice cake". Tennis Ball places 10th overall for his rice cake, with 15 points.
In "Bridge Crossing", he tells Snowball that throwing Golf Ball into the ravine was uncalled for, and in return, Snowball threatens to do the same to him. TB tells Snowball to calm down, but Snowball snaps and attempts to throw him into the ravine. Instead of falling in, he hits the posts keeping the bridge held up. Snowball notices that the "dumb sticks" are in the way, so he takes them out and throws Tennis Ball down, causing the bridge to break.
In the stinger, Match notices that Golf Ball fell but isn't floating with the rest of them. Pen explains that Golf Balls sink, and Tennis Ball adds that rocks sink too, implying Rocky sunk as well.
In "Power of Three", Leafy and Teardrop are placed on Tennis Ball's team for the challenge. They are the first team to cross the beam and get to the first island. In the first safe they open, they find a teddy bear. The fourth safe they open contains a raft, but Tennis Ball is upset that they fell to 3rd. When they reach the final island, they find out the first key they grabbed on the previous island was a fake, so they have to turn around, much to Tennis Ball's dismay. The next key they take works, and their team places second.
In "Puzzling Mysteries", Tennis ball tells his team that completing the jigsaw puzzle should be easy, and Golf Ball agrees, explaining that there are only 9 pieces. His team finishes first and chooses Firey to be on their team as a reward for finishing first.
In "Cycle of Life", Rocky vomits on the wheel that decides which Squashy Grapes participate in the challenge, and it covered who was chosen, so Tennis Ball questions who was on that slice. Tennis Ball's slice on the wheel isn't landed on, so he doesn't participate in the relay race.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare", Tennis Ball can be seen waiting impatiently with the Squashy Grapes. During the team choosing, Tennis Ball reminds Announcer that Rocky forgot how to talk in "Sweet Tooth". When the Announcer asks how he communicates, Rocky vomits on Tennis Ball, choosing him for his team. He then picks Golf Ball since he states they are a "duo".
Afterward, he picks Coiny to be on his team. Firey is then forced to be on their team as he is the last contestant with no team, much to the dismay of Coiny. Firey suggests the team to be "Squashy Grapes", but Golf Ball disagrees since Leafy's team is already the "Squashy Grapes" and tells him that the team name has to be "another name". The Announcer names the team Another Name as a result, Golf Ball tells him to wait, but then Announcer wants to go through our current teams.
During the contest, Golf Ball asks him if he thinks races like this are great. He replies that he does but yells at his teammates (specifically Coiny and Firey) that if they could walk in synchrony, it would be even better. With Tennis Ball leading the group, they sneak past the Squishy Cherries. TB whispers to his team that if they're quiet, the Squishy Cherries won't notice they're ahead. Firey yells in response to this since he hadn't known that they were ahead. Seconds later, Tennis Ball gasps as they approach a tightrope, and Firey tells them he has a fear of heights. On the tightrope, Firey screeches, much to Tennis Ball's chagrin. His screeching alerts the Squishy Cherries to Another Name's presence, which causes them to run the rest of the way to the finish. Tennis Ball spots the finish just up ahead, but Rocky vomits and causes the entire team to slip and lose the lead to the Cherries. Since they place ahead of the Squashy Grapes but behind the Squishy Cherries, nothing happens to them.
In "Crybaby!", Golf Ball tells Tennis Ball to try to cry, but he ultimately fails. Golf Ball then tries and manages to cry one tear, which results in TB and GB giving each other a low-five.
During the tie-breaker skiing contest, Tennis Ball sits on the skis, and his entire team rides on top of him. He appears scared, expressing a frightened "Oh my gosh..." before they go over the edge of the mountain. When Golf Ball checks in on how he's doing, he tells her it's wobbly. Golf Ball then points out Rocky is missing, but Coiny spots him in their path. They collide with him, sending them into the air and rolling them into a snowball. The Squishy Cherries share the same fate and roll into another snowball after them.
In the second tie-breaker handstand contest, Tennis Ball falls immediately due to his lack of arms. The rest of his team falls right afterward, before anyone from the other teams have fallen, and they lose.
In "Lofty", Tennis Ball and Golf Ball are discussing what a certain cloud looks like. Tennis Ball thinks the cloud looks like a Tennis Ball, while Golf Ball determines that it looks like a Golf Ball. Arguing ensues after the initial disagreement between them.
At Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball is safe with only 2 votes out of the total 37, the least amount. Since Golf Ball and Rocky had the two highest amounts of votes, Tennis Ball complains that he's left with "the slappers", referring to Coiny and Firey.
Announcer orders the contestants to all climb a set of extremely high stairs, and once Tennis Ball gets to the top, he slips and falls off, leaving a hole in a cloud as he falls. When he hits the ground, he bounces back up to where the contest is taking place, and Coiny, the only remaining teammate in the challenge, greets him as he falls back down. Once Firey falls down, Tennis Ball notices that it's all up to Coiny to win the challenge. The explosion caused by Firey lighting Bomby's fuse then blows up Another Name.
In "A Leg Up in the Race", Tennis Ball intervenes in Coiny and Firey's argument, which causes Firey to comment on the fact that Tennis Ball doesn't have arms. Coiny retaliates by telling Firey that Tennis Ball knows more than him.
Once again up for elimination, Tennis Ball receives 22 votes, which results in him being in the bottom two along with Coiny. Tennis Ball tells the Squashy Grapes that if Coiny stays, all he will do is slap Firey, and the team seems to agree with that. Leafy decides that they want Tennis Ball on their team, however, the teams are broken up anyway.
The contest is a ladder-climbing contest, and since TB doesn't have arms, he can't climb the ladder. Rocky is the only other remaining contestant without arms besides Ice Cube, who rode Leafy to the top, but he uses his vomit to propel him up to the platform, placing Tennis Ball in last.
To start out, Tennis Ball receives 30 bonus points, but no more, since he got 0 points in the contest. Tennis Ball has received 25 votes in the past, so 25 points are subtracted off from his current 30, leaving him at 5 points.
In the stinger, Tennis Ball suggests to Firey that he shouldn't go around setting people he doesn't know on fire, referring to the recommended characters shown directly afterward.
In "Don't Lose Your Marbles", Tennis Ball didn't like the remodeled Cake at Stake place before Announcer wants them to like it, so Tennis Ball likes it before he is safe, after being in the bottom two with Snowball. Afterward, Firey makes Tennis Ball angry by slapping him, feeling an emptiness with Coiny gone. Tennis Ball kicks him in return.
Firey slaps Tennis Ball several more times during the contest, which causes Tennis Ball to leave and work by himself. Tennis Ball places second, turning in a red ball that Rocky threw up, and receives 20 points, however, he is still in the danger zone.
In "Half a Loaf is Better Than None", Tennis Ball is up for elimination once again. At the beginning of Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball announces that he is scared, however, he only receives 34 votes and is safe.
Tennis Ball cheers on Golf Ball during the rejoin contest, despite her only getting one loaf before drowning, and Spongy ends up rejoining.
When Announcer tells the contestants that whoever can retrieve his marble collection from a vat of hydrochloric acid will receive 15 bonus points, Tennis Ball pulls out his magnet, and the marbles come to him, earning him the bonus points. He also receives 10 sympathy points for not having arms. In the hurdle contest, Tennis Ball places fourth and gets 20 points, placing him in fourth overall as well.
In "Vomitaco", Tennis Ball chooses to compete in the taco contest. He chooses to make a taco containing lettuce and tomato and finishes first. 5/10 people in the TLC enjoy Tennis Ball's taco, resulting in him receiving 50 points. He tells the announcer that he was expecting more, considering they have only been fed bread for the past 13 months.
In "Bowling, Now with Explosions!", Tennis Ball is thrown an explosive blueberry pie since he wasn't up for elimination. Since the contest is bowling, armless people are disqualified because they cannot bowl, and Tennis Ball whines about this.
In "The Reveal", Announcer announces that the cake this time is knives and that he will throw you a knife if you are safe. Tennis Ball is unsure if he wants to be safe because of this. Tennis Ball receives 45 votes, enough to put him in the bottom two and he screams when the Announcer threw him a knife, but Blocky is eliminated with 112 votes.
In the contest, Tennis Ball is saddened by having to pair up but sighs and gives in, pairing with Firey. His first throw isn't strong enough and doesn't reach Firey, but the second throw does, and Firey catches the frisbee with his tongue. However, Firey's saliva is too sticky, and the frisbee gets stuck to Tennis Ball's foot. The frisbee will not come off no matter what, so Firey grabs another frisbee, and the pair uses that to complete the challenge. When revealing the reward they got for finishing 3rd, TB claims it isn't much but that he'll take it. He still ends up in the danger zone, putting him up for elimination.
In "Reveal Novum", Tennis Ball once again states he is scared, but Leafy reassures him there's nothing to be afraid of. Bubble votes for him because Ice Cube is in her alliance and Leafy gave her a gift. Pencil uses the same reasoning, and Tennis Ball questions Leafy's bribes. Spongy and Rocky both vote for Leafy, and Firey votes for Ice Cube, so it is a tie vote between Tennis Ball and Leafy.
The tiebreaker challenge is to jump over a "bottomless" pit, and the first person to jump across is safe. Tennis Ball jumps first but fails to make it across, and as he is falling, he accidentally activates a contraption that launches Leafy across, eliminating him.
In "Gardening Hero", in his audition to rejoin, he is surprised when the Announcer calls him "Clumsy Tennis Ball" and threatens to demagnetize him with a magnet.
In "The Glistening", he votes for Ice Cube to be eliminated. He doesn't rejoin due to only getting 41 votes. He starts demagnetizing the Announcer when he calls him "Clumsy Tennis Ball" again but is teleported back into the TLC.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", Tennis Ball is seen in the elimination flashbacks. He also asks why there is a bush in the Tiny Loser Chamber after Flower deflects the Laser Powered Teleportation Device and sends a bush there. When the TLC is gone, they cheer, but then they scream when the TLC is back.
In "Return of the Hang Glider", Tennis Ball wants Leafy to win and is one of the many contestants to have that opinion. When Firey wins Dream Island, Tennis Ball is let into the island without hesitation from Firey. Later, he tells Pen to "face it, [they] aren't getting Dream Island back" after it has been stolen.
Later on, Tennis Ball, along with Match, Snowball, and Woody, is abducted by a UFO. Tennis Ball feels like he is the only one concerned that they are in an Unidentified Flying Object, but Match tells him that it isn't unidentified, it's an Announcer Transportation Device. When Match flips a switch, the ship turns off and starts falling, and attempting to switch it back on doesn't work. After it crashes, Match, Snowball, and Tennis Ball emerge after it lands on Flower, killing her. Tennis Ball then explains to Snowball that Woody died because of his fear of the color gray caused a heart attack. He seems happy afterward when he finds out that Rocky cannot vomit anymore.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", Tennis Ball is among the group of contestants chasing Leafy into the forest. When they reach the forest and lose Leafy, Tennis Ball questions if they are taking this too far. In response, Golf Ball yells at him and asks if he wants Dream Island. He responds that he does but tells her that they don't actually have to capture Leafy. Golf Ball tells him that they do, and he asks her why. She answers that if they let Leafy escape, she'll steal Dream Island.
As shown on TV's screen, Tennis Ball received 359 votes to join the second season and placed 13th highest overall, allowing him to join. Tennis Ball suggests that one team should consist of the original contestants from BFDI, and the other should have the "newbies". He ends up being placed on Team No-Name. When everyone is showing their favorite screen-shape, he shows that he prefers a screen shaped like flower petals.
In "Get Digging", he informs the team that they need a bowl to make the Yoyleberry stew and that a bigger bowl would be better. When Fries asks him what his job is, he hesitates and tells him that he is a co-manager to Golf Ball.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Tennis Ball receives the least amount of votes, at 55 dislikes. During the contest, Golf Ball gets poisoned by a bug and turns green, to which Tennis Ball claims she looks like a miniature version of him. Later on, Match tells Tennis Ball that he's a good guy and orders him to build a Recovery Center for the poisoned contestants. Tennis Ball tells her that he can't just build one, and then it cuts to the voting screen.
In "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Book, Gelatin, and Firey are all on top of the Eiffel Tower with Tennis Ball. Book asks them what they are battling for again, to which Tennis Ball responds with shock, asking if she actually doesn't know. Firey says he always thought that she was well-read (she is a book), so she freezes him with freeze serum. Book asks Tennis Ball again what they are battling for, and he tells her they're battling for Dream Island. Book says that sounds like a disease, but Tennis Ball elaborates that it isn't. He quotes the "gray faceless robot", or Announcer, and tells her that it's "a whole square mile of paradise, blah blah blah blah, and the winner even gets to decide who gets to come on and who doesn't." After he tells her, Book claims that she feels well-informed, but Tennis Ball jokes that she means "well-read", and she freezes him.
When Puffball Speaker Box tells Pin to get them down from the Eiffel Tower, she shakes them off, and while Match and Pencil save Firey and Gelatin, respectively, Tennis Ball falls to the ground and shatters since he is frozen. Match claims that he deserved it since he has been lazy recently.
When Firey recovers Tennis Ball in the new Hand-Powered Recovery Center that Teardrop won as a prize, he immediately recovers Golf Ball. When Pencil reminds everyone that Leafy stole Dream Island, Tennis Ball exclaims that he forgot that no one knows where Dream Island is.
During the challenge, Golf Ball orders Tennis Ball to send Pencil to the incinerator for criticizing her, to which he says, "Fine". He drags her to the incinerator and throws her in, killing her. Later, Coiny throws Bomby into Golf Ball's underground factory, where he explodes, killing Team No-Name and their Dream Island.
In "Get in the Van", Tennis Ball is recovered by Metal Leafy and Bubble. During Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball almost wins the prize but is beaten by Puffball. Rocky also almost wins, and Tennis Ball complains that he didn't because he could've gotten his barf back. Match is shocked that Tennis Ball actually wants Rocky's barf back, and Tennis Ball tells her he thinks it's cute. He receives the 2nd least amount of dislikes, at 121, beaten by only Gelatin.
W.O.A.H. Bunch has been taking their team members one by one (Nickel, Spongy), so Golf Ball tells Tennis Ball that this must stop. He agrees but asks her how to stop it. She tells him that if all of their team members promise to never switch, then they should be good. Tennis Ball says that it sounds like a good plan and promises not to switch.
As they are riding Puffball to Yoyle Mountain, Gelatin complains that there isn't enough room, so he pushes Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, and Rocky off and into the forest, where Evil Leafy resides. They run away from Evil Leafy, but they reach a canyon. Tennis Ball proposes that they quickly build a trebuchet, however, he is cut off by FreeSmart crashing their van into the trio, causing them to all get eaten by Evil Leafy.
In "No More Snow!", Tennis Ball is never seen, but Book explains that FreeSmart left him and the others inside Evil Leafy.
In "It's a Monster", he is recovered after W.O.A.H. Bunch accidentally allows Puffball to recover her team. In the desert, snow coming from the FreeSmart Super Van hits Puffball. Golf Ball questions how there can be snow when the temperature is 42 degrees Celsius. Tennis Ball then points out that it's 107 degrees Fahrenheit, prompting Golf Ball to scold him and tell him never to use Fahrenheit.
In "The Long-lost Yoyle City", after Gelatin and Firey tie their legs together and fall, Tennis Ball suggests that Gelatin can hold onto Puffball until they land, then Puffball can lower Firey and Gelatin onto the ground. Fries then asks him how long it is until they land, but he doesn't know. When Firey asks why the Davids in Davidland aren't saying "Aw, seriously?", Tennis Ball explains that they only say it when provoked.
When his team reaches the top of Yoyle Mountain, Puffball remembers that if her team is up for voting, she'll win the prize, so she shrinks down to normal size, and everyone falls off of her, costing Tennis Ball and his team the challenge.
In "Well Rested", He is recovered by Needle and is later transported to the Cake at Stake place. He receives the second most likes, with 938 votes. Tennis Ball kindly asks to reveal the dislikes, as he is nervous about getting eliminated. He is the first safe with 242 dislikes. Tennis Ball asks why the yoyleberries are "tingly". After learning the truth, he eats the yoyleberry, turns into metal, and then he gets electrocuted. He then somehow comes back to life to tell his annoyance for Golf Ball about saying that she's "the team leader". He then dies again and gets recovered by Firey and Gelatin.
For the challenge, the contestants must find a place to sleep in. They come across a hotel with a broken sign that appears to read "Live Here Hotel". Tennis Ball gets nervous about going in an abandoned hotel, but he later goes in after being convinced by Fries. After looking through all of the rooms, Golf Ball notices a mirror at the end of the hallway. Tennis Ball tells his team that they should look at it very closely, which seems to summon Evil Leafy. After Evil Leafy gets summoned, Tennis Ball, along with the rest of Team No-Name, run away from her. After running into the "iffy" room, Tennis Ball informs Firey that Evil Leafy is on the other side of the glass so she can't catch them. Evil Leafy then phases through the glass, forcing Team No-Name to run. They head into the "decent" room next. Tennis Ball gets scared, but Golf Ball tells him that everything should be okay because the windows are boarded up. The planks fall off when water splatters over them, and Evil Leafy enters the room and chases Team No-Name.
The next room is the fancy room, which has a motion-activated door. Tennis Ball is fine with the No-Namers with arms doing the work to get it to open, Golf Ball agrees. Tennis Ball informs Firey that since Evil Leafy moves instantaneously and not continuously, the door doesn't register it as motion. Gelatin's headphones throw spike balls and cause the door to open for Evil Leafy to come in, to Tennis Ball's annoyance. Team No-Name runs into the "bad" room, but the walls fall apart, and Evil Leafy is close to capturing Team No-Name. Since Coiny's chanting "Evil Leafy", Evil Leafy chases W.O.A.H Bunch instead, to Tennis Ball's confusion. Team No-Name walks into the fancy room and falls asleep, being the first ones safe.
In "Intruder Alert", we can see Tennis Ball in a new intro, he is shown turning back and saying hi. When TV is being thrown to TLC, Tennis Ball cheers with the rest of Team No-Name team members. Before the challenge starts, he sees Ruby holding Yoylelite while FreeSmart was falling from the sky. Being obsessed with observing more about the mineral, Tennis Ball squeezes Gelatin's cheeks with his feet, telling him that Yoylelite is one of the rarest minerals in the universe and that the scientists would pay trillions of dollars just to research it. Tennis Ball says that he's going to take the mineral with his own "hands", later being corrected by Firey that they're his feet. Ruby shakes her head, mentions that she already swore to Match that the mineral is a gift for FreeSmart and FreeSmart only. This makes Tennis Ball cry, but then he realizes that he could just switch teams, although immediately being reminded that there's Golf Ball and he can't just leave her.
Later on, Tennis Ball decided to ask a risky favor to Firey as his close friend, to switch to FreeSmart Team just for this episode, but he has to come back again on the next episode. Firey thinks the new FreeSmart is scary, so he asks back to Tennis Ball if he can bring Gelatin along. Tennis Ball sweats while looking at Golf Ball, but he later allows Firey with a bit of hesitation on his line. Team No-Name for this episode remains to 3 members: Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Fries.
In "Meaty", when Fries asks who drove by, Tennis Ball says it was Lewis, noting that Lewis loves cars with mirrors. When Firey is eliminated, Tennis Ball is in Yoyleland with Golf Ball. When he hears Firey yell his name, he thinks that Firey must be having trouble getting the Yoylelite for them. He is told by Golf Ball to "trust the process". He is next seen atop the Eiffel Tower when Pin is saying the colors for each team.
At the start of the challenge, Tennis Ball asks how they got to the Eiffel Tower, as they were just in Yoyleland. Fries says, "car", and Tennis Ball asks if he won the lottery too, but Fries only replies, "who cares how I got it", and tells Tennis Ball to get in the car and pour the paint on the Eiffel Tower as he drives. Tennis Ball happily agrees. Later, Tennis Ball asks where Golf Ball is, and where Firey is with the Yoylelite. He gets told to keep pouring the paint, and that they are probably underground. When FreeSmart started shooting lasers at Fries and Tennis Ball, Fries asked him to build a shield to deflect the lasers being shot by Pencil. He says that he can't build it without the help of Golf Ball, though when he’s asked if he’d rather die, he builds a satellite dish to deflect the lasers. It fails, falling out of the car and onto the ground. Fries told him his invention sucked and gave him a car mirror to deflect the lasers instead.
Later, when Pencil filled the Zap Ray with paint, she hits Tennis Ball, making him pink. Fries asks him if he has any ideas on how to distract FreeSmart, he whispers an idea to Fries. When Fries says they won’t survive that, Tennis Ball says it's the only option. Fries agrees and starts Tennis Ball’s plan, driving the car up the Eiffel Tower, knocking Ruby’s Yoylelite out of her hand. It ends in a car crash, killing Tennis Ball, Fries, Ruby, and Pencil.
In "Catch These Hands", Tennis Ball is recovered by Gelatin, delighted that the latter has rejoined Team No-Name. Gelatin then makes Tennis Ball the first member of the team to participate in the challenge, with his first phrase being "having hands". He is nearly crushed before Fries utters the word "hands".
Afterward, Tennis Ball asks Gelatin if he truly believes he is bad at inventing, having read his lips from the inside of the crusher; Tennis Ball also negatively compares himself to Golf Ball.
Tennis Ball is later seen back in the crusher, running back and forth inside it, and Gelatin correctly guesses his phrase offscreen. The next phrase Tennis Ball receives is "acetylsalicylic acid"; knowing Gelatin does not know this word, he quickly builds a laser pointer and etches its structure on the Moon, which Golf Ball sees and says, saving his life. After Golf Ball is crushed, Tennis Ball is put back in the crusher but is crushed when Gelatin finally admires his inventing prowess. He can be seen in hell with the other crushed contestants after the credits.
In "Taste the Sweetness", Tennis Ball is recovered. At the Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball received a record of 40,984 likes, allowing him to spin the prize wheel. He receives a Swap Token and is also the first contestant safe, at 5,268 dislikes. When Gelatin is eliminated, he gifts him his laser pointer in exchange for his Revolutionary Headphones, grateful for his compliment last episode. Before the challenge begins, Tennis Ball decides to switch to The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute, using his swap token to bring a defiant Golf Ball along with him.
For the challenge, Golf Ball tasks him with making the ice cream that needs to be sold, alongside Ruby and Coiny. He repeatedly tries and fails to guess the passcode to Gelatin's pantry until Coiny receives the correct code from Barbecue Sauce. After opening the vault, Tennis Ball immediately leaves Coiny and Ruby behind to retrieve the Yoylite, which he finds outside.
Tennis Ball brings Golf Ball along to examine its microscopic structure, using the headphones Gelatin gave him as the microscope. When Pineapple activates the headphones by throwing its discarded volume up button, the noise causes him to shake and scribble over his diagram. This angers him, and he kicks the microscope out of frustration. This causes the bowl of Ice Cube's remains to fall off the roof of Gelatin's Steakhouse. A snowflake from the bowl lands, the challenge ends and Tennis Ball's team loses, having sold no ice cream.
In "Lots of Mud", Tennis Ball, along with the rest of the team, panic about the elimination whenever Ice Cube doesn't make her beautiful face. During the elimination, he asks if anyone's seen his microscope and is still unable to find it after being safe in the elimination. He is dragged away by Golf Ball from their previous team and ends up being on Team No-Name again. He panics when Puffball Speaker Box is crushed by Spongy, though he also says hi to Spongy. Golf Ball tries to get another host by calling one up on Puffball Speaker Box's phone, but Tennis Ball realizes that it was actually Flower on the other side of the phone. She quickly arrives and tears him in half.
Tennis Ball is later recovered by a Tennis Ball Recovery Center inside Flower's fashion store before going to the lake, where Golf Ball orders him to use his magnet to attract the keys. He tries this and ends up attracting a lot of metal, only getting the keys and Needle, when he adds a second magnet to the mix.
After the team is able to tear off two of Flower's petals, she traps them, along with Pin, in the "punishment room". Tennis Ball isn't worried about continuing the challenge since they're guaranteed safe with 2 petals, but worries if Pin heard their plan to hide the key. The other two members try hiding the key behind doors but die from the traps behind them, so Tennis Ball is scared when he tries to hide it behind the last one.
Tennis Ball screams when he opens it, but all that there is a single bug. He then kicks his way out of the room and as he leaves, Coiny asks him if the keys are in the store. Tennis Ball dramatically responds that one of the keys is behind one of the doors, but the others will lead to his doom before casually saying, "See ya", to him.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 4", Tennis Ball recovers Golf Ball and then Fries through his recovery center. Later, at the Cake at Stake, Ruby is given the opportunity to shrink a contestant and asks everyone if they like FreeSmart. When Tennis Ball is asked, he hesitates but quickly says yes once Ruby points the shrink ray at him.
Ruby eventually chooses to shrink Pin, reducing her size to that of a push pin. Golf Ball calls the situation terrifying before quickly changing the subject, complimenting Tennis Ball's research paper on the yoylite. Later, Flower's attempt to fling Spongy backfires, which results in her death. Tennis Ball notices Flower's phone and Golf Ball calls her most recent contact to tell them to come and host, but it ended up being the bugs.
During the challenge, Tennis Ball throws bugs at Fries, who dodges and later throws bugs at FreeSmart. They defend themselves using Book's corpse, Flower's corpse, and a purple T-shirt, respectively. Tennis Ball is hit by Fries and dies briefly but is quickly recovered. He teases Fries for lacking a recovery center and shows him a picture of him and Jack in the woods.
Nickel hides in Tennis Ball's recovery center, angering Tennis Ball. As revenge, he uses the vacuum cleaner to suck up all the bugs and releases them into the recovery center, killing Nickel. However, the pressure becomes way too much and was on the verge of exploding.
Needle uses Flower's keys to escape the exploding store, and they all leave. Tennis Ball suggests collecting anti-poison from the Queen Bug, and so he and Golf Ball head to the bug hive, unknowingly followed by Freesmart. Golf Ball reminds Tennis Ball to identify the Queen by her 15 dots. Tennis Ball eventually finds the Queen and starts extracting the anti-poison using a straw-shaped yoylite, with Golf Ball warning him about high temperatures denaturing the anti-poison. After Needle unintentionally provokes the bugs, Golf Ball urges Tennis Ball to leave quickly.
Once they escaped, Tennis Ball uses the Fries detector to locate Fries's whereabouts and stop at Flower's clothing store to test the anti-poison to confirm it works. It does so they continue to the auditorium where Fries is. Inside, Upon arrival, Tennis Ball gets distracted by a Pan Flute poster, but Golf Ball reminds him of their mission.
During Pan Flute's performance, Golf Ball tries to kill Fries; but he dodges all attacks, causing chaos as scattered bugs kill audience members. Fries finds them, and Tennis Ball throws three bugs at him. Fries deflects one, killing Golf Ball, but Tennis Ball revives her. This cycle of death and revival repeats several times until Golf Ball finally kills Fries. Just then, Needle and "Ruby" arrive, and Tennis Ball tells them that they just killed Fries and that they're next. Needle calls Golf Ball a tyrant and throws a bug at her, but she dodges the attack, and it instead hits Tennis Ball. He dies, and Golf Ball is unable to revive him due to Needle denaturing the anti-poison earlier. Their team loses and is up for elimination.
In "Well, Look Who It Is!', Tennis Ball is recovered by Ruby. On the way home, they encounter a loop-de-loop, and Book wonders how they're going to cross it. Tennis Ball suggests using Super-Stick Shoes So-Ha, but Golf Ball interrupts, giving herself credit. Tennis Ball gets upset, saying that it was his project, but Golf Ball reminds him that he rented out her factory to make them. Still frustrated, Tennis Ball just says fine before they continue walking.
In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", Tennis Ball is sitting in a tree with Golf Ball, who asks him what he thinks the cloud in the sky looks like. Tennis Ball replies that he thinks the cloud looks like a snowball, because he isn't blind. Later, at the Cake at Stake, Tennis Ball is revealed to be the third safe with only 5,212 dislikes, much to his delight. He is given a poisoned cello as his cake and makes a joke about it to Golf Ball, which pleases her. However, Golf Ball finds herself in the bottom two with Bomby.
Golf Ball asks Tennis Ball to calculate her chances of surviving. Tennis Ball responds with "9.090909 repeating percent" and asks her if she's nervous. Golf Ball says she isn't nervous, just verifying. Just as the votes are about to be revealed, they get paused at the last second. Golf Ball asks who's eliminated, and Tennis Ball tells her that their host is dead. Golf Ball grabs Spongy's phone, calls their most recent contact, and tells them to come host now. Tennis Ball reads the contact's name, which displays as "My Next Meal," and is unsure who that is. Spongy gets crushed, and Bomby still wants to know who's eliminated. Tennis Ball decides that Barf Bag should be the host since she was the one who picked up the phone. Barf Bag is more than happy to do that.
Golf Ball is revealed to be eliminated, which upsets Tennis Ball. As a golf club descends from the ceiling, ready to send Golf Ball to the Weak Trembling Fortress, Golf Ball encourages Tennis Ball to keep inventing devices, as that's how he can win for both of them. The next challenge starts, and the remaining contestants are expected to form teams. With Golf Ball eliminated, Tennis Ball is unsure who he should team up with, but Nickel volunteers because he shares the same shape and limbs as her. Tennis Ball hesitantly agrees.
The LOL prisoners guide the contestants to the beginning of a spiral with five islands, each featuring its own mini-challenge. Tennis Ball asks how they're supposed to get to the first island, and Cloudy asks who posed the question. Tennis Ball replies that he did, noting that he's the only ball with lines. Basketball, also a ball with lines, takes offense to this and rudely tells him to figure it out himself before starting the contest.
As everyone quickly heads for the first island, Tennis Ball worries because they're falling behind. He shakes Nickel, who tells him to stop and says he's not surprised since they're the only team without arms. Suddenly, Tennis Ball gets an idea and spits into a jar. He reveals that he invented metal-to-fuzz glue, adding that they now have four limbs combined. Tennis Ball single-handedly climbs to the top, surpassing Coiny and Pin.
Tennis Ball and Nickel arrive at the first island, and Tennis Ball begins constructing an ecosystem to quickly extract jelly filling for their jetpack. He and Nickel high-five, but Nickel is unsure how he can contribute. Tennis Ball tells him to suck the pollution out of the air using a straw, which Nickel does. Just then, the oil rig is complete, so they use the jetpack to ascend to the next island, currently leading in first place. Donut, the owner of the island, comments on their lead. Tennis Ball thanks him, saying it's been a while since he last heard from him and adds that he isn't a bad host after all.
The duo arrives at Dora's island, where she warmly welcomes them. Tennis Ball appears displeased to see her but takes a pillow when instructed. Nickel is confused about how Dora can host an island if she eats them, but Tennis Ball interrupts him before he can finish. It's too late, though—Dora attempts to bite through the wall to get to the island but can't because she's trapped. Tennis Ball calls Dora an unhinged host for doing this, clarifying that he meant her jaw, not her mind.
After Dora realizes she can’t eat the island, she changes the challenge to having contestants eat a detectable portion of the island to advance. Nickel asks Tennis Ball if he wants to eat the island, but Tennis Ball says he can’t because his doctor says he's allergic to minerals. Instead, Tennis Ball decides to cook and season a part of the island to make it more appetizing, and Nickel hesitantly agrees. Nickel tries to eat it but spits it out due to the awful chemical aftertaste. Tennis Ball insists he eat it anyway, telling him to stomach it because vegetables are healthy, and grass is technically a vegetable. While Nickel is eating, he hears a sound and asks what it is, discovering that Needle has arrived with a deceased Pencil.
Tennis Ball continues to try to feed Nickel a part of the island, but Nickel repeatedly complains that it tastes bad. Tennis Ball speculates that it might be due to all the gunk in his mouth and starts brushing his teeth. Later, he is still brushing his teeth when Evil Leafy suddenly appears. Nickel informs Tennis Ball of her arrival and asks if his teeth are clean enough yet. Tennis Ball responds that they’re almost done and starts panicking because the brush isn't fast enough.
Suddenly, Toilet Brush lands nearby, giving Tennis Ball the idea to use them to brush Nickel's teeth. This speeds up the process, and Nickel’s teeth are now clean and shiny. Tennis Ball thanks Toilet Brush before throwing them away. Tennis Ball feeds Nickel the island again, and he swallows it just as Evil Leafy approaches them. Evil Leafy chases them to the waterfall leading to Teardrop's island. Meanwhile, Dora is about to tell them something, but Tennis Ball interrupts her, saying they have no time to talk and must focus on escaping Evil Leafy.
The duo arrives at Teardrop's island, but Tennis Ball is quickly squished by Bomby and his bouncy shoes, forcing Nickel to go back and recover him. They return to Teardrop's island, and Tennis Ball warns Bomby and Fries not to squish him again. Following his request, they instead squish Nickel, so Tennis Ball goes back to recover him. Once Fries and Bomby land, Tennis Ball grabs onto them, and all three are launched to the next island. However, Bomby accidentally knocks Tennis Ball and Nickel off. They freefall back to the beginning, but Tennis Ball's bounciness causes them to bounce back to Teardrop's island. Nickel compliments his bounciness and calls him "jiggle boy," but Tennis Ball asks him not to use that name.
Tennis Ball warmly greets Teardrop and asks if she needs anything from them. Teardrop points to Bob-Omb, who is annoying her cousin Blooddrop. Nickel concludes that Teardrop wants them to tell Bob-Omb to be quiet. They approach Bob-Omb and Blooddrop, and Tennis Ball tells Nickel to take care of it. Nickel smiles broadly, causing Bob-Omb to disintegrate. Blooddrop rewards them with angel wings, which the duo uses to advance to the next island.
They arrive at the fourth island, which Tennis Ball recognizes as Match's. They start building their raft for the challenge, and as they work, Nickel asks Tennis Ball if he’s sad that Golf Ball is gone. Tennis Ball admits that he is, but he adds that the extra space allows him to improve his own building skills. He uses the completed raft as an example, and they use it to ride up the volcano and advance to the final island.
On Puffball's island, they are tasked with singing a lullaby that Puffball likes to make their platform rise to the bunk beds and win immunity. When it’s their turn, Nickel takes the stage and starts singing, with Tennis Ball joining in. Nickel is annoyed by Tennis Ball’s addition, as it wasn't part of the lullaby, but their singing puts the other contestants to sleep regardless. Because of this, Puffball lets them pass, and their platform rises to the bunk beds. Nickel allows Tennis Ball to get into bed first because that he earned it. They climb into bed one at a time, and as Tennis Ball slides in, he says that the win was for Golf Ball before falling asleep. At the bottom of the bunk beds, a speaker box replays their lullaby as they drift off, securing first place and ensuring the safety of both Tennis Ball and Nickel.
In "Spore Day", Tennis Ball is first seen changing Ruby's elimination icon when her sisters take her place as commanded by Nickel. As one of the eight safe contestants, Tennis Ball receives the LOLers' teardrop cake. At the beginning of the challenge, Tennis Ball initially plans to continue teaming with Nickel, but the latter decides to regroup with W.O.A.H. Bunch before seeing that it is full, and returns to Tennis Ball, much to his irritation. The two of them then team with Fries due to being the only team yet to have three members, before they are divided into three different teams. Tennis Ball is put on The Quasi-Rhombicosidodecahedrons with Bomby and Needle, and is the only one on his team to know what that shape is.
Tennis Ball initially makes measurements of the birdhouse's door, seemingly in an attempt to find out how to get inside, but later revealed that he just likes making scientific measurements. He slightly shrinks when Pencil mentions that people shrink when no one thinks about them, only for Book to stop that by saying that is a false statement. Inspired, Bomby brings him and Needle along to retrieve Ruby's shrink ray, and the former shoots him with it once they return. Tennis Ball begins to shrink, only for Fries to kick him out of the way and steal the shrink ray from his team. Tennis Ball questions whether to join in the fight between The Hearts and The Stars, only for Bomby to dismiss his suggestion, later clarifying to his team that there is another shrink ray in Golf Ball's Underground Factory.
Tennis Ball observes a very small Nickel, sucking up the water droplet he was standing by in a dropper and depositing it onto him, while also referring to him as "nonintelligent life" compared to the microorganisms within the drop of water.
He briefly watches Nickel swim inside before being chased off by Fries and Coiny, who intend to kill him. The latter two are distracted by Tennis Ball's teammates trying to enter the birdhouse, and Tennis Ball begins chasing the Shrink-a-Tron when it is spun around and thrown by Fries. He notices Needle holding on to it, telling her to shrink herself further to reduce her terminal velocity; Needle does so and lands on Tennis Ball's surface.
As he is cornered by Fries and Coiny, Tennis Ball reveals he was observing Nickel in order to develop a growth ray to enlarge the birdhouse so he can fit inside. He aims at the birdhouse before Fries turns him and he ends up firing at Bomby, successfully telling him to quickly dodge his shot; it ends up hitting Ruby's airborne sister Quartz.
Tennis Ball tells Needle to find the Shrink-a-Tron on his surface and shrink him. When she does so, Fries covers him with his growth ray and fires, causing him to regrow to his normal size and get stuck in its barrel, rendering him unable to see outside. As he is carried around within the growth ray, he warns Fries about hitting lead paint and the historical objects in Book. Fries lets him go as he throws a microorganism he hit at Bomby; it kills the latter and Needle decides to guide Tennis Ball to a recovery center to recover him.
Tennis Ball's team shrinks themselves to fit inside the droplet, albeit he remains stuck in the growth ray. He gives Coiny a lead poisoning antidote to give to everyone that swam into the lead paint. Tennis Ball shrinks further when Book blocks a shrink ray by using him, and alerts everyone when they've been shrunk down to the atomic level. He suggests neutralizing the lead at this size by manipulating the atoms. As Coiny removes protons, he warns him about the more dangerous elements he's making (thallium and mercury), before telling him he can stop when he's made gold. Tennis Ball ends up getting poisoned by a lead proton thrown by The Hearts, and he and his team are put up for elimination.
In "Respect to the Wicked," the BFDIA contestants are seen playing with the atoms inside the birdhouse. Tennis Ball and Bomby are tossing one around, while Fries handles another nearby. At one point, Fries almost collides his atom with theirs. Alarmed, Tennis Ball warns him not to let the atoms touch, explaining how dangerous it could be. However, Fries dismisses the warning, sealing Tennis Ball's mouth shut with duct tape.
Moments later, the inevitable happens: the two atoms collide, triggering a massive explosion. The golden drop of water they are in is ejected from the birdhouse and splashes onto the window of the Locker of Losers (LOL). From there, it drips directly into Balloony's eye. The contestants notice their new surroundings and realize they are inside Balloony's optic nerve.
Intrigued, Tennis Ball approaches the optic nerve and expresses his long-time desire to dissect one. He pulls out a knife, ready to begin, but before he can make his first cut, Balloony, clearly alarmed, quickly redirects their focus by suggesting they do Cake at Stake. Reluctantly, Tennis Ball agrees, putting his "experiment" on hold for the time being.
For the prize, Balloony turns to TV to reveal the results. TV complies, but his screen is completely covered with duct tape, obscuring the outcome. Coiny promptly rips off the tape, making the results visible, where it is revealed that Tennis Ball received the most likes, at 45,550. Overjoyed, Tennis Ball spins the prize wheel, which lands on "Obelisk." Moments later, a towering obelisk appears from outside the LOL. Tennis Ball, captivated by its grandeur, calls it a "magnificent monument," vowing to treasure it for as long as he lives.
Balloony takes the opportunity to ask the group if they think he’s a good host. This prompts Tennis Ball to inquire about the fate of the other LOLers. Balloony explains that the last few challenges have been too chaotic with everyone hosting, so he taped all their mouths shut to restore order. He adds that hosting solo has made things "much more chill." Pillow shakes her head in disapproval, causing a bit of dust to fly into Balloony's eye.
The dust irritates Balloony, turning his eye red. As he reflexively closes his eye, the contestants inside realize they are moments away from being crushed. Nickel urges Tennis Ball to construct reinforcements. Tennis Ball scrambles to comply, but his makeshift defenses prove insufficient. The contestants perish inside Balloony's eye, but he promptly recovers all of them afterward.
When the contestants are recovered, they gather for the elimination. This time, the cake is rice. Tennis Ball, thinking it’s a rice cake, becomes excited, but Balloony corrects him, explaining that it’s actually a single grain of rice due to the severe budget cuts this year. Since Coiny, Pencil, and Fries won the challenge in the previous episode, they are automatically safe and each receive their grain of rice. The trio mockingly savor their single grains, taking exaggerated bites to rub it in. Tennis Ball, annoyed, tells them there’s no need to flaunt it, pointing out that he’s hungry too.
Balloony reassures Tennis Ball that he has nothing to worry about, revealing that he received the fewest dislikes, at 7,005 votes. Delighted, Tennis Ball steps forward to claim his grain of rice. He eats it in one swift motion, but the portion does little to quell his hunger. With a resigned expression, he mutters, "whatever."
Book, Needle, and Nickel are declared safe, and Tennis Ball carefully uses an eye dropper to place a grain of rice into each of their mouths. After the elimination, the teams formed in the previous episode disband. Tennis Ball approaches Fries, inviting him to rejoin Team No-Name, but Fries declines and walks away.
Turning to Needle, Tennis Ball reminds her of their "quasi-rhombi pact." Needle initially agrees but is interrupted when Pencil insists that all FreeSmarters regroup. Feeling obligated, Needle declines Tennis Ball's offer, stating she has other commitments. As FreeSmart and W.O.A.H. Bunch begin arguing over who gets Needle on their team, Tennis Ball interjects, reminding them that Needle was originally part of Team No-Name.
With the new teams finalized, the challenge begins. The wheel is spun, landing on "Scavenger Tag," a game where each team must choose a prized possession to protect. Tennis Ball, excited about his recent prize, confidently volunteers his obelisk, declaring it an incredible choice worth the risk. Once all teams have selected their items, Balloony explains the rules: teams must hide their possessions and ensure they remain out of reach from opponents. Tennis Ball turns to his massive obelisk, clearly too tall and conspicuous to conceal effectively, and wonders aloud how he’s supposed to hide it. Balloony, ignoring the concern, signals the start of the challenge, leaving Tennis Ball to figure it out on his own.
The contest kicks off, and everyone quickly rushes toward the FreeSmart Supervan, which is poorly hidden behind a tree. As the others rush toward it, Book and Pencil start tossing it around, trying to keep it out of reach, while the rest eagerly chase after it.
Later, Tennis Ball sits next to a tall tower of mud, with a mini-fridge perched on top. Fries turns to him and tells him to start digging for Coiny's dirt cake. Tennis Ball refuses to leave his spot, insisting that he must protect his trinket, but quickly corrects himself, calling it a "naturally occurring hill." Fries ignores this and tells him to dig again. Tennis Ball firmly replies that it’s not going to happen, adding that if Fries wants to dig, he should do it himself.
Subsequently, Tennis Ball watches as Fries relentlessly digs a hole. He asks how the digging is going, sarcastically adding that Fries must be so worried about Nickel chasing after his trinket. Just then, a huge pile of dirt flies into Tennis Ball's face, but Fries keeps digging. Tennis Ball thinks to himself that since Nickel is after Fries' trinket, Fries is going after W.O.A.H. Bunch's trinket, and W.O.A.H. Bunch is going after FreeSmart's trinket, which means he should target Nickel's trinket. He pulls out a metal detector, which reveals that Nickel's trinket is only one meter away, and Tennis Ball is pleased to see that it's so close.
Pencil flies through the air but is stopped by Tennis Ball's massive mound of mud. She speculates that his trinket might be hidden beneath it, and Tennis Ball reluctantly confirms that it’s not. Just then, Needle and Pin arrive, with Needle revealing that the dirt cake is in the mini-fridge. Tennis Ball watches as the three fight over the dirt cake, until Pencil admits that this isn't going anywhere. Tennis Ball suggests that Pencil help him instead. He looks at the metal detector, uncertain whether it’s actually working, but before he can figure it out, Pencil thanks him for the metal detector and uses it to smash the mound of mud. The mini-fridge is now easily accessible.
Later, Tennis Ball asks Needle and Pin to help him find Nickel's trinket, admitting that he thinks his metal detector might be broken. However, Pin and Needle decide to focus on Tennis Ball’s trinket instead. Tennis Ball begs them not to, his body shaking in fear as they begin rummaging through the mud. However, despite their efforts, the trinket is nowhere to be found. Tennis Ball laughs triumphantly, telling them they’ve been tricked. He dances around, boasting that he would never hide his prized possession in a pile of dirt because it’s far too valuable.
Tennis Ball boasts that he now knows exactly where Pin and Needle’s trinket is. However, before he can elaborate, Pin interrupts him, bluntly asking if he has anything else to say. Tennis Ball, unfazed, tells her that she was a lot nicer when she didn’t have a face. As he turns to walk away, Pin spots Nickel’s trinket taped to the back of Tennis Ball and immediately begins chasing him. Realizing he’s being followed, Tennis Ball’s casual walk turns into a sprint.
Suddenly, Coiny emerges from the hole Fries had dug earlier, and Pin tells Coiny to catch Tennis Ball. Coiny purposefully trips Tennis Ball, sending him falling into the hole below. He lands in a cave, but his bounciness causes him to ricochet off the ground, propelling himself back upwards. As he rises, he unintentionally drags Needle down with him, and they both tumble back into the cave. Tennis Ball bounces off the ground again and rebounds, this time taking Fries with him. They land safely back on the grass.
Tennis Ball tells Pin and Coiny that he doesn’t understand why they were chasing him, but insists their savagery ends here. Pin is about to explain, but Tennis Ball shushes her, declaring that they’re out now, meaning they can no longer interfere. Fries asks who is still left in the game, and Tennis Ball responds that it’s now just the solo teams: him, Fries, and Nickel. However, he adds that he still hasn’t been able to locate Nickel’s trinket.
Pin, annoyed, tells him it's taped to his back, which is why she was chasing him. Tennis Ball, confused, turns around and sees the trinket indeed taped to his back. He blames Pin for not telling him earlier. Coiny then asks where Tennis Ball hid his trinket. Tennis Ball responds that it was hidden behind the nearby tree before attempting to reach the trinket taped to his back, but he can’t quite reach it. Tennis Ball then asks Fries to tag Nickel’s trinket for him. Just as Fries is about to do it, Balloony suddenly announces that Fries is out of the game, and Fries gets struck by lightning, killing him.
Tennis Ball, confused, asks who did that, when suddenly, Nickel emerges from the clouds, accompanied by several balloons. He holds Fries’ trinket high in the air, declaring that he finally managed to catch it with the help of the storm’s power. Tennis Ball, even more confused, asks how that happened, and Nickel explains it was because of static electricity. He begins stomping all over the balloons, each one emitting lightning as Tennis Ball and Coiny attempt to escape the electrical chaos. Tennis Ball asks what they should do, and Coiny urgently tells him to tag him out before the opposite happens. Just then, Coiny gets struck by lightning.
Tennis Ball admits that he isn’t worried, revealing that while everyone else was busy searching for each other's trinkets, he built a protective layer around his obelisk using tungsten, struts, limestone, and protective glass. With all these features, Tennis Ball is certain that his obelisk will remain untouched. However, moments later, Nickel uses one of his balloons to strike the obelisk, destroying it completely. Tennis Ball, angered, tells Nickel that the challenge was to tag the obelisk, not destroy it. Nickel, unfazed, falls from his balloons and touches the rubble, which results in him winning the challenge. As a result, everyone else, including Tennis Ball, loses.
In the aftermath, Tennis Ball is seen poking Fries' lifeless body while Nickel hops towards it. Curious, he licks one of Fries' fries, and to everyone's surprise, the corpse suddenly comes back to life. Tennis Ball, shocked, watches as Fries mutters, “whatever."
In "Start the Shift", Tennis Ball is seen using his metal detector to look for Needle. After he locates her, he uses his magnet from "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None" to pull her out of the ground. Needle assumed Tennis Ball had saved her, but he was actually trying to get everyone else to help him form a bike to head to Yoyleland and recover Coiny, Pencil and Book.
Whilst traveling across the Goiky Highway, he is seen happy whilst Nickel, Needle, and Pin are in discomfort. After they arrive at the Hand-powered Recovery Center in Yoyleland, Tennis Ball recovers the dead contestants whilst Fries reassembles. After Balloony arrives, Tennis Ball stares at him, watching all the other contestants recover Spongy in an act to crush Balloony and the Locker of Losers, but instead, Spongy ends up getting chopped to pieces because of the LOL's propeller.
After realizing he’s no longer wanted, Balloony prepares to leave with the rest of the LOLers. Before departing, Tennis Ball approaches him, requesting a new host. Balloony obliges, taking out his phone and instructing the person on the other end to come and take over hosting duties immediately. With that, he exits.
The new host is revealed to be Firey, accompanied by the other eliminated contestants. Upon seeing Tennis Ball, Gelatin lights up with excitement, declaring it a Team No-Name reunion. Gelatin, Rocky, and Firey eagerly embrace Tennis Ball in a warm hug. When they invite Golf Ball to join, she declines, stating she doesn’t participate in "feudal acts of affection." Undeterred, Gelatin grins and pulls her into the hug anyway, much to her exasperation.
The new hosts kick off the next Cake at Stake, where Tennis Ball and Coiny are the first ones declared safe with 6,879 and 8,414 dislikes, respectively. Tennis Ball and Coiny cheer in relief, and Coiny attempts to high-five Tennis Ball to celebrate. However, he accidentally slaps his face instead, prompting Tennis Ball to kick him in retaliation. Despite this, both are rewarded with a slice of cake.
After Cake at Stake, the remaining contestants move into the team-switching phase, marking the start of the final seven. Coiny, Pin, and Book begin arguing over who should get Needle on their team, each making their case for why she should join them. Tennis Ball chimes in, expressing his desire to have Needle as his teammate. Pin dismisses him, stating he’s irrelevant to the discussion, but Tennis Ball counters, insisting he deserves a competent teammate for once. The disagreement escalates into a heated, chaotic fight, with all the contestants vying for Needle. Overwhelmed by the commotion, Needle snaps and shocks everyone by deciding to team up with Fries.
Later, the contestants gather around to spin the wheel and determine their next challenge. The wheel lands on "be your truest self", a contest requiring contestants to restore their original appearances, as many have undergone significant changes throughout the competition. A scanner will evaluate each contestant, and for a team to be declared safe, all its members must pass the scanner's approval.
As the contest begins, Coiny confidently steps onto the scanner’s platform and is immediately approved. He cheers, proud of his unchanged appearance. Meanwhile, Tennis Ball is seen scrubbing cake residue off his fuzz, grumbling about how long the process is taking. Needle steps onto the platform and is approved without issue. Encouraged by her success, she attempts to scan Fries, but the scanner denies him due to his ominous blue hue. Concerned, Needle asks how she's supposed to fix Fries' unusual coloration. Tennis Ball, still scrubbing himself, suggests using the kill-recover trick on Fries, theorizing that it might restore him to his original state.
Later, Tennis Ball tosses away the tissue he was using to scrub the cake from his fuzz, but it accidentally hits Pin, sending her tumbling off a cliff. Coiny immediately calls Tennis Ball a villain before diving after Pin to save her. Flustered, Tennis Ball insists it was an accident and not his intention to hit Pin. Suddenly, Nickel appears and greets Tennis Ball, startling him.
Reacting on impulse, Tennis Ball kicks Nickel before realizing who it is. Nickel shrugs it off and asks what’s going on. Frustrated, Tennis Ball complains about the stubborn cake stuck in his fuzz, saying it won’t come off no matter how hard he scrubs. Nickel sympathizes, saying he’s been there before, and suggests Tennis Ball try taking a shower. Tennis Ball asks why Nickel is even here. Nickel explains that he needs something from him and reaches for his chunk, still taped to Tennis Ball’s back from the previous episode. However, Tennis Ball keeps shifting around, making it nearly impossible for Nickel to grab it.
Nickel instructs Tennis Ball to stay still, telling him that he needs his chunk for the challenge. Tennis Ball, skeptical, questions why he should cooperate since they’re not on the same team. Nickel counters by suggesting that Tennis Ball scratch Nickel's back while Nickel retrieves his chunk. Tennis Ball asks how this would benefit him, so Nickel pulls out a Yoylite straw he had found in the auditorium, explaining its potential use to sip the cake residue out of Tennis Ball’s fuzz.
Cautious, Tennis Ball snatches the straw away just as Nickel is about to demonstrate. He sternly warns Nickel about the dangers of mishandling Yoylite, emphasizing its volatile nature and potential to cause catastrophic effects with a single misstep. Nickel, unfazed by the warning, dismisses the concerns, viewing the straw as nothing more than a harmless tool. Frustrated by Nickel's indifference, Tennis Ball insists that Yoylite is not just an ordinary material but a mineral with extraordinary, reality-altering power, making Nickel’s dismissive attitude all the more infuriating.
Just then, Fries comes back to life, thanks to his eerie blue hue, which catches Tennis Ball’s attention. Fascinated, Tennis Ball theorizes that the underground algae Fries consumed must possess regenerative and time-bending properties, which is what is constantly restoring Fries to his original state. Fries, unimpressed, asks Tennis Ball to get to the point. Tennis Ball wonders if these regenerative properties, when combined with the energy of the Yoylite, could be used to restore his own appearance.
Tennis Ball removes one of Fries' fries to experiment with fusing the algae’s properties and the Yoylite’s energy. Nickel, watching intently, cheers Tennis Ball on but reminds him about returning his chunk still taped to his back. Meanwhile, Fries, realizing his inability to return to his original red hue, laments his situation. Tennis Ball jokingly suggests letting Evil Leafy possess him since that transformation makes him red. To his surprise, Fries calls it a great idea and immediately sets off to find Evil Leafy, leaving Tennis Ball baffled by his sudden enthusiasm.
After completing his invention, Tennis Ball proudly presents it to Fries, Needle, and Nickel. He explains that he has combined the algae's time-altering regenerative properties with the Yoylite's reality-bending energy to create a device capable of reversing the effects of the cake splatter. Demonstrating its effectiveness, he uses the machine on himself, restoring his appearance to its original state and celebrating his success.
As Tennis Ball prepares to head to the scanner to finish the job, Nickel interrupts, demanding his chunk back. Nickel leaps onto Tennis Ball, startling him and causing him to stumble. Tennis Ball asks Nickel what he's doing and tries to shake him off, but Nickel refuses, clinging tightly and insisting on retrieving his chunk.
In their struggle, the two fall backward onto Tennis Ball’s machine. Realizing the potential catastrophe, Tennis Ball panics, warning that the mishap could destroy the fabric of reality itself. Before he can stop it, the machine activates, and both Nickel and Tennis Ball are abruptly transported through time, landing in the future.
Tennis Ball and Nickel find themselves teleported to 2017, during the events of "Getting Teardrop to Talk". As they take in their surroundings, Tennis Ball asks where they are, and Nickel responds with a quip about the situation while also expressing curiosity about their location. Observing the futuristic architecture, Tennis Ball deduces that they have time-traveled three years into the future. Nickel remarks that it's cool but quickly redirects the conversation back to his missing chunk.
The scene shifts to reveal the chunk resting atop a towering fork sculpture. Tennis Ball dismisses its importance, emphasizing their primary objective of returning to the present. He warns that chaos could ensue if anyone discovered their presence. At that moment, future Donut appears, questioning if Tennis Ball and Nickel were always there. Tennis Ball nervously denies it, suggesting that Donut must be imagining things. Meanwhile, Nickel begins scaling the fork sculpture to retrieve his chunk. Tennis Ball pleads with him to come down, warning of potential timeline disruptions, but Nickel brushes off the concern.
After successfully retrieving his chunk, which restores his original appearance, Nickel leaps down from the fork tower, landing on Tennis Ball's machine. Tennis Ball hastily reassures Donut and Bottle that everything they just saw is completely ignorable. Before Donut can respond, Tennis Ball and Nickel activate the machine, teleporting themselves away.
Next Tennis Ball and Nickel find themselves in 2021, during the events of "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?". They appear in the kitchen of the TPOT hotel, and Nickel comments on how nice the setting looks. Tennis Ball, confused, asks if this is actually a kitchen, before noting that they aren't supposed to be there. He also suggests they quietly exit before anyone notices.
Before they can make their escape, however, Nickel’s chunk is knocked out of his possession when Needle is shoved into the wall by Team8s. The chunk bounces down the hallway and heads upstairs. Nickel laments the loss of his chunk, and Tennis Ball threatens to leave without him. Nickel reminds Tennis Ball that abandoning him in the wrong time period could seriously mess with the timeline. Realizing that Nickel is right, Tennis Ball reluctantly agrees to chase after the chunk.
As they run, they pass an elevator where Just Not is stuck inside. Future Nickel calls out to Rubber Spatula for help, and Rubber Spatula responds, saying they’d do anything for their best mate, Nickel. Meanwhile, Nickel and Tennis Ball quickly rush past them, and Nickel asks Rubber Spatula who they are. As Tennis Ball follows behind, he tells Rubber Spatula not to pay attention to anything they just saw, adding that they were simply passing by before continuing their pursuit of the chunk.
Nickel finally catches up to his chunk and retrieves it, allowing Tennis Ball to use the machine once more. This time, they’re teleported to 2024, during the events of "Category One". Tennis Ball groans in frustration, annoyed that they've landed in yet another wrong time period. Nickel hesitates, looking around and noting that it looks similar to their previous location, but with a few differences—there's a giant hole in the wall, a massive thunderstorm, and an abundance of bugs.
Tennis Ball, still irritated, remarks that at least they can leave without causing any disruptions. Nickel, however, wonders why they should leave so soon. He adds that since there’s a storm, he can just control it like he did last time. Tennis Ball warns him not to try it, reminding him that it’ll just result in him losing his chunk again. Nickel brushes this off and confidently tells the storm to go away.
Just as Nickel speaks, Tennis Ball is struck by lightning. The impact causes the Yoylite to detach from the machine, blowing upward into the wind. Tennis Ball is upset, realizing they can’t leave without it. Nickel casually calls it a "real shame" but adds that the place isn’t so bad. Tennis Ball, determined to get the Yoylite back, suggests they head to the roof to retrieve it without anyone noticing them. He asks Nickel if he thinks they can handle it, and Nickel bluntly says no. Tennis Ball shrugs him off, and together, they leave in pursuit of the Yoylite.
As Tennis Ball and Nickel run down the hallway, they’re greeted by Kitchen Sink. Tennis Ball quickly tells Nickel not to make contact, but Nickel ignores him and asks Kitchen Sink who they are. Kitchen Sink responds with a simple "It's me, Kitchen Sink!" but Nickel calls him a bathroom sink. Tennis Ball immediately drags Nickel away, repeating his warning to not make contact. The duo continues to run up the stairs, panting from the exertion. Nickel, however, begins speaking in bug-ese, attracting a bug. He greets it with enthusiasm, but Tennis Ball urges him to hurry up. Nickel eventually redirects his focus back to the task at hand, and the two continue their way up the stairs.
Just as they leave, the future version of Tennis Ball arrives. He climbs up the stairs, but then purposefully falls backward, causing the rest of Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again to plummet back to the ground floor.
Meanwhile, Tennis Ball and Nickel finally reach the roof and retrieve the Yoylite, with Tennis Ball clearly determined to create a rift back to the correct time period. Nickel draws a circle on the wall, and Tennis Ball initially warns him not to touch it. But after realizing Nickel's actions were correct, he compliments him for his efforts.
Nickel, undeterred, urges Tennis Ball to get out of there, mentioning that the storm in the area is becoming uncontrollable. Tennis Ball acknowledges that leaving is for the best. With that, they both jump through the rift and successfully make it back to 2015. As they land, Nickel reflects on the chaos the Yoylite has caused, then decides to get rid of it. Tennis Ball protests, reminding Nickel that the Yoylite belongs to him, but it's too late. Nickel throws the Yoylite through the rift, sending it back to 2024 just before the rift closes. Nickel agrees that parting with the Yoylite is difficult but insists that it was for the best.
Meanwhile, Tennis Ball falls to his knees in shock, unable to believe what just happened. Nickel, awkwardly avoiding Tennis Ball's gaze, casually announces that now that he has his chunk back, he can go scan himself. With a final wave, he says goodbye and leaves, leaving Tennis Ball alone to process the loss of the Yoylite.
Subsequently, as Tennis Ball approaches the scanner to complete the challenge, he inadvertently trips over Nickel and collides with Fries, causing a chaotic explosion. The incident disrupts his attempt to finish the challenge, and the contest eventually ends after Pin and Coiny scan themselves, securing immunity. Due to Tennis Ball's failure to reach the scanner on time, his team, along with the others, are put up for elimination.
Also, in the stinger, a time skip to 2024 shows Tennis Ball rediscovering the same Yoylite from years ago. He brings it to Golf Ball, seeking advice on what to do with it. Golf Ball, with a serious demeanor, states that the Yoylite must be protected at all costs to prevent another catastrophic incident like the one caused during its last use. The Yoylite is taken for inspection and ultimately locked away in a reinforced glass box, ensuring its power remains contained.

In "Welcome Back", Fries mentions that Tennis Ball developed a new strain of potato called Grotatoes that can grow with slightly less sun than normal. Later, Golf Ball and Tennis Ball visit a science museum, but Tennis Ball is hesitant to go in. When he finally gives in, Tennis Ball finds a wall teleporter inside and changes his mind about visiting this place. Golf Ball sees some vases, which prompt a vision or flashback, and she gets paranoid. Tennis Ball points out that that's the second weird episode she's had since they entered the building. Golf Ball is then persistent on leaving, but Tennis Ball complains they haven't even seen 10% of the gadgets yet. Tennis Ball finally follows her out but mentions it's the first time he has ever seen her make a decision irrationally.
The pair reaches Fries's Grotato farm, and Tennis Ball greets Coiny by showing him the wall teleporter. He explains that it can teleport anybody through a wall of up to 6 inches thick, but it can only teleport one person at a time. Coiny points out that the walls of the Tiny Loser Chamber are 5 inches thick, so they can free the people inside. Golf Ball tells him that the Tiny Loser Chamber is inside the Locker of Losers as well, which adds another five inches, equaling 10 inches total. However, as Tennis Ball points out, there is an ultra-power mode, which allows you to teleport through walls of up to 12 inches, which will take time to charge between usages. Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, Coiny, and Pin travel to the Locker of Losers to test out the device, meeting Yellow Face and Rocky on the way. Coiny proposes that they bring Snowball out first, which doesn't produce positive reactions. Pin suggests they bring out Roboty because his red tint could be used to recolor her. Tennis Ball explains that according to his calculations, Barf Bag would be the best to bring back so Rocky's vomit could be contained.
Battle for BFDI[]
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", Tennis Ball first asks Foldy if she's seen Leafy. After being told where she is, he tries to tell Golf Ball, but she ignores him. Tennis Ball is accepted into 8-Ball and Basketball's group, later known as A Better Name Than That because he is a ball.
When Golf Ball tells the team her plan to get back X's baskets, Blocky asks what Golf Ball and Tennis Ball will be doing. They both say they're team managers, but this gets Blocky angry, and he kills Tennis Ball. He remains dead for the rest of the episode, but apparently, he built a trebuchet before he died. This is used to launch 8-Ball and Basketball to weigh down the basket and later to launch the basket to X.
In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", the teams complain to Four that they want the dead contestants recovered. Four says that he will only recover one, and Grassy tells him to recover Tennis Ball. He is recovered, but none of the other contestants care as they still want the others recovered. When Golf Ball is recovered, she is informed that she is no longer team captain due to her disrespect to Grassy and is being replaced by 8-Ball. Golf Ball tells Tennis Ball to do something about this, and he relies that he tried stopping them but they wouldn't listen.
In "Today's Very Special Episode", when Golf Ball points out that they are wasting time (which was 8-Ball's order), Tennis Ball says that they are just following orders. He also protests when Golf Ball later tries drawing a picture as it is "treason" against 8-Ball's orders. After the challenge, 8-Ball realizes that the sarcasm he was employing nearly caused them to lose, and apologizes to Golf Ball. She asks if the team will accept her again, but the team still thinks she is disrespectful, and Tennis Ball doesn't want to disrespect Grassy.
In "Fortunate Ben", during the flying contest, Golf Ball asks Tennis Ball how the steering of the plane is going. He says there is no steering as it's actually just a paper plane.
In "Four Goes Too Far", when A Better Name Than That is discussing getting rid of Four, Golf Ball states that any number multiplied by zero is zero. Tennis Ball asks how this is useful, to which Golf Ball replies that Four could be multiplied (using X) by zero (Donut). The plan is successful, and Tennis Ball acknowledges the fact that 4 x 0 = 0. When Pin asks how they are going to find out what the next contest is without Four, Tennis Ball says that Four became a factor of zero. After saying this, he starts wiggling his eyebrows along with Golf Ball. They both do this again as soon as Donut mentions that he has the factor of Four within him.
In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", A Better Name Than That and are all stuck on the Moon due to the last challenge. Basketball says that she has been inspecting Robot Flower for the last 2 weeks, and upon hearing this, Tennis Ball and Golf Ball start moving their eyebrows again. Basketball asks if they're done with that, and Tennis Ball apologizes. When Robot Flower is used to give commands to the communicator dish of the rocket, which is then used to control Remote, he says he doesn't think it is very ethical and that he and Remote used to play tetherball together. The connection is then suddenly lost, and Remote regains control of herself. Tennis Ball notices that the controls aren't working anymore and is told by Basketball to get off Robot Flower so she can sort it out. However, they aren't able to regain control of Remote, and the Liar Ball lands in A Better Name Than That's team crater, causing the team to be up for elimination.
In "Questions Answered", due to the team still being on the Moon, Donut uses TV to communicate with them for Cake at Stake. He eventually ends up shutting Lollipop's mouth with his hands coming out of the screen, followed by Tennis Ball wondering how he's doing that. Eventually, the teams return to Earth (due to Donut bringing Earth right next to the Moon), and Cake at Stake continues. All of the team members are sitting away from Donut, who says they don't have to sit so far away. This is immediately followed by the whole team going inside his hole. Tennis Ball is safe with the least amount of votes and asks if he gets a prize, that being a chopped up piece of Firey Speaker Box.
In "This Episode Is About Basketball", Tennis Ball questions how X came back after they multiplied Four and zero. Later, during the challenge, Blocky throws him and Basketball into the basket, declaring his team safe.
In "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", Tennis Ball is chosen from his team to climb up the stairs. He refuses to let Flower past him and also tells her not to push him off as that'll just make the viewers vote for her. Eventually, Flower, using her Non-Slip Shoes So Ha, runs past everyone and pushes them off, TB included. Upon reaching the ground, he bounces up back onto the stairs. He then gets pushed off again when Dora zooms past him, but he bounces off the ground and lands on the stairs again. He eventually presses the button at the top, making his team safe.
In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Golf Ball asks Tennis Ball what the first thing he took from the Science Museum was, to which he correctly answers a Wall Teleporter. She tells him he must be the real Tennis Ball but then realizes Pin, Coiny, Nickel, and Fries also know about that, so he could be any of them as well.
In "Return of the Rocket Ship", when Four states that Firey Jr is eliminated with exactly 10,000 votes, Tennis Ball says that 10,000 is also 10^4. After Four has announced the challenge, Tennis Ball asks Golf Ball how they are going to find out what X's treasure is without being able to read his mind. Golf Ball then shows Tennis Ball her MMR, which can read minds, and Tennis Ball is impressed. After explaining how it works, Golf Ball asks Tennis Ball to use the machine to read X's mind, which he agrees to. Tennis Ball puts on a headset and begins moving the dial on the MMR.
Since the mind reader works both ways, Golf Ball tells Tennis Ball not to think of anything disrespectful to X. But it is hard for Tennis Ball to do this, as Golf Ball begins saying disrespectful things to not think of, which leads to Tennis Ball thinking, "X is stupid", as the device activates. Tennis Ball reads X's mind and learns that his treasure is "various emeralds underground", and the coordinates at which some of them are located. He then switches off the MMR and relays this information to Golf Ball.
Later, Tennis Ball is seen next to Golf Ball. After Golf Ball would not tell her, Basketball asks Tennis Ball what the team's plan is. Tennis Ball asks Golf Ball and tells Basketball to dig over there, pointing in a direction. Tennis Ball later enters Golf Ball's rocket with the rest of A Better Name Than That when they begin digging for the emeralds.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Tennis Ball and his team find an emerald. They then wall-jump to get to the surface to bring it to Four. After successfully doing so, Tennis Ball is relieved it went smoothly. However, he is then terrified at the sight of arms coming out of Four and walks away slowly.
Later, Tennis Ball is seen sitting with Golf Ball. When Golf Ball says it’s getting warm around here, Tennis Ball is hesitant to respond and starts to stutter. He then watches Golf Ball with an annoyed expression as she blocks iance from coming out of the ground.
In "The Four is Lava", Tennis Ball is stuck in a tree with Blocky and Robot Flower. Blocky leans the tree back to slingshot himself, leaving Robot Flower and Tennis Ball on an island with Flower. When Flower finds a remote in Cloudy's collection, Tennis Ball appears to recognize it and tells her to hit a button that could help them. Flower does so, which causes the lava to drain. With the lava gone, Flower, Tennis Ball, and Robot Flower begin racing to Four. Robot Flower uses her super speed to get to Four while holding on to Tennis Ball, making A Better Name Than That safe.
In "The Escape from Four", Tennis Ball is first seen walking to see Four struggle to do something and ends up trying to help pull the eliminated contestants out of him. When Two arrives, Tennis Ball isn't sure if they can trust him. Tennis Ball ends up changing his mind as he is seen switching to compete on The Power of Two to win Two's powers.
Battle for BFB[]
In "X Marks the Spot", Tennis Ball cheers when X is "glued" to the ground so that they could continue being the host.
Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two[]
In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", when Two says even they're a prime number, Tennis Ball corrects them by saying they're "a" even prime, which is not grammatically correct. During the team making, he teams up with Golf Ball, who points out he made a grammatical error earlier, but lets him onto her team anyway.
When making team names, Golf Ball stops talking once she realizes the team name will be whatever she says. Tennis Ball asks her, "Are You Okay?", which ends up being the team name. For the challenge, the team uses Tennis Ball's trebuchet from BFB 1, after he fixes the lava damage of it. Fries points out the trebuchet is more like a catapult, and Tennis Ball says he had to improvise. It ends up flinging the team over their target and into a tree, which flings them back into the trebuchet, and repeat. Puffball eventually stops this by catching the entire team with Fries and dropping them on the roof of the building. They are the first team safe.
In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Tennis Ball asks Robot Flower what she thinks about triangles. Golf Ball tells Tennis Ball to stop being distracted as the challenge has started. After Basketball mocks Golf Ball for not caring about shapes, Tennis Ball has to drag Golf Ball back to their team. Tennis Ball can later be seen handing blocks to Fries and also says that he likes hypercubes. Tennis Ball and Fries can be seen admiring their tall stack when Black Hole starts sucking up their blocks. After Pen gets him to stop, Tennis Balls tells Pen that he did a good job. Tennis Ball ends up getting caught up in the crossfire between Teardrop and Death P.A.C.T. Again and is obliterated by a laser. His team still won with only one block.
In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Tennis Ball is first shown getting partially crushed by a stack of blocks, which causes him to get flung into Robot Flower, who accidentally obliterates Teardrop with a Zap Ray. During the challenge, Tennis Ball grabs some blocks and runs into Golf Ball's underground factory, where they get ready to build a rollercoaster for the amusement park. Once they're done, they head back to the park and upload the rollercoaster that Puffball imagined. It ends up being more hazardous than expected. Two gives it a 5/10 for being too dangerous, which is enough for Tennis Ball's team to be safe.
In "Gardening Zero", Tennis Ball's team is sent to Davidland to protect their Funny Plant. Before they leave, Tennis Ball informs Puffball that she isn't allowed to compete in today's challenge due to her rollercoaster mishap, as this was a rule set by Golf Ball. In Davidland, Tennis Ball finds their Funny Plant, but it is right next to the leg of a giant David. This is a problem as the reverberation rate of a David saying "Aw, seriously" is 2,763, which could kill their plant and potentially shatter their eardrums. But as long as they don't provoke the Davids, they'll be fine. Eraser points out that Tennis Ball and Golf Ball finished each other's sentences, but Golf Ball dismisses it. Despite some close calls from Fries, Eraser, and Pen, they managed to be safe by keeping their plant alive before two other teams had their plants killed.
In "Fishes and Dishes", Tennis Ball's team uses the breathable bubbles for the challenge since Golf Ball's robotic fish monster was stolen by The Strongest Team on Earth. Along the way, Golf Ball and Pen get into a fight, bumping their bubbles into each other. Tennis Ball interferes after Golf Ball is hit and bumps into Pen's bubble, which causes all three of them to get stuck, bouncing into each other infinitely until he's eaten by a fish monster. Tennis Ball's team is up for elimination.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Tennis Ball is in the bottom two in Cake at Stake with Fries, but is safe with 4,788 votes. He is given a folder telling him to scare X. He does so by making spooky sounds and gets zapped by Four as a result.
For the challenge, his team decides to find a dream berry to give to Two. The closest one is shown to be in a crack inside of Golf Ball's Underground Factory, which is swarming with bugs. After Tennis Ball and Golf Ball kill the bugs, the team gets shrunk by Golf Ball's Shrink-A-Tron. They attempt to reach for the berry by holding each other's arms and legs as they lower down the crack, but they get knocked inside by a chocolate ball. A bug then crawls into the crack with them, with Tennis Ball thinking it's back for revenge. The team runs out of the crack and hopped onto Tree to get into his head to escape the bug. Later, Tree eventually shakes the team out of his head, and Two brings them back to normal height. The team gets an 8/10 for their dream berry, making them safe. In the stinger, Tennis Ball gets zapped by X after trying to steal his and Four's food.
In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", the team is being tasked to fix the volcano. As a result of asking Golf Ball to take a break in this episode, as the other bro, Pen asked Tennis Ball what the team should do. He says that it is imperative to glue the volcano cracks, or the lava will overflow and pour into the surroundings. TV then remembers that there is glue on Robot Flower's counter, which is placed inside the hotel, and offers the rest of the team members to drive them there with him. While looking for the glue, they met Just Not, and Tennis Ball was greeted by Bomby. Tennis Ball asks if Eraser has found the glue or not. Ended up with more pile of trash, Eraser goes straight to Basketball's Factory and although with force, managed to obtain the glue from her.
A few moments later, when Golf Ball and Puffball returned, they're not seeing the rest of their teammates, but Tennis Ball immediately greets them while riding on TV's back. He is holding the glue, saying that he got the glue from Basketball's Factory. Golf Ball compliments the team, assuming that they've also read the TPOT Tips and Tricks book (which was written by her). Then Golf Ball asks Puffball to break the arch into pieces (which they got as a trade item with Just Not) so the team could glue the pieces onto the volcano. Tennis Ball is the one who glued the arch pieces. Knowing the volcano is fixed, Two appears and congratulates the team, making Are You Okay the 4th team safe from elimination.
In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Tennis Ball is first seen in a wide shot of every remaining contestant atop the repaired balance beam. After Pin shakes Donut enough for him to start rolling, Tennis Ball is the second object to jump over him. A little bit later, Tennis Ball is seen listening to TV wanting to win the challenge.
Golf Ball then says that two of their team's members should go sabotage the other teams, with Tennis Ball agreeing, thinking that Golf Ball was referring to the duo. Tennis Ball is then upset when Golf Ball leaves on top of Puffball, but Pen says that the two of them can hang out together, putting a smile back on TB's face. Eraser suggests riding on TV and knocking other contestants off, and TB suggests making TV's casing more durable and less prone to slipping. But then Robot Flower knocks TV off, killing him, and bringing their team down a member, causing Pen, Eraser, and TB to scream.
Tennis Ball appears again when the rest of the team run to the end of the balance beam in hopes of knocking Teardrop off of the balance beam. After Eraser begins getting attacked by three of Team8's teammates, Tennis Ball picks up Pen with her foot and smacks Coiny on the top of his body, knocking him off.
After Pen compliments her on the strategy she used, Tennis Ball says, "Golf Ball taught me it's always handy to treat your friend like a tool!" After Barf Bag pleads her innocence by stating she has no idea where Teardrop is, Tennis Ball believes her and brings up the fact that Teardrop is a threat and that with only three members, it would be a risky move to try and defeat her. After Pen states his opinion on what the team should do, Tennis Ball thinks that on paper it's a good idea, but she would need to be hindered in some way to knock her off.
Tennis Ball is next seen for a few seconds, scared, when Snowball in his metal form knocks Barf Bag into the Goiky Canal and releases Teardrop.
Tennis Ball makes his final appearance in the episode (aside from the elimination screen) when her team and Snowball are arguing over Teardrop's fate. Tennis Ball states that in her weakened state, this would be an opportune time to get rid of a threat. After Snowball, Pen, and TB start fighting, Tennis Ball explains that she has an idea that, although might work, is also risky. She states that if both herself and Pen fall off, Snowball's metal and therefore, weight might make him fall off. They decide to put their plan into action, and it does indeed work. Tennis Ball then tells Eraser that this is their chance to eliminate Teardrop.
In "Outbreak At Stake", Tennis Ball is shown in a flashback that the contestants are clamoring and arguing over Barf Bag being dead, with Golf Ball quieting since they are trying to work as hard as they can. Tennis Ball tells them that since Barf Bag got knocked over the water last episode, it got her "sicker" than usual. Tennis Ball says that they have two options: they could either get the remains from the lava-fied vomit in the volcano, or they could simply kill Barf Bag and recover her. Black Hole argues against killing her, so they settle on getting the remains of the vomit from the volcano.
When the lava-field vomit is put into Barf Bag, Tennis Ball immediately recognises that something was wrong, since the unhealthy mixture seems deadly. Suddenly, Barf Bag bites Pen, who becomes infected. In a panic, Golf Ball tells her team and Team8s to follow her into the hotel for cover, followed by Two, who then starts the Cake at Stake intro. Tennis Ball cuts it off, panicking that the undead are getting inside and they are in a serious rush, so Two boards up the windows before Golf Ball allows Two to play the rest of the Cake at Stake intro.
Afterward, after Two declares that Tennis Ball is safe, Golf Ball says that his prize was well deserved until she realizes that she was in the bottom two. This upsets Tennis Ball, saying that she can't go. After Team8s' elimination, and Coiny getting infected, Tennis Ball tells Team8s and Are You Okay to get upstairs, quickly.
Tennis Ball is shown in the lab with Two, Golf Ball, TV, Eraser, and Teardrop. Suddenly, a zombified Barf Bag bites Two and starts chasing the rest of the group. Golf Ball then proposes that they split up, and so she and Tennis Ball quickly take for the lab. There, Golf Ball explains to Tennis Ball about how the virus is possibly forming. Tennis Ball suggests undoing the rotting and then getting her and everyone else back to normal. Golf Ball then wonders how Barf Bag got so strong last episode.
Later, they're seen trying all the "possible" gadgets they used in the lab, but none of them work. Tennis Ball is surprised that they couldn't come up with a solution. Golf Ball agrees with Tennis Ball, before then blaming Barf Bag for causing all this. Suddenly, Teardrop falls into Barf Bag, turning the latter back to normal again. Golf Ball realizes that Teardrop reversed the affects of the lava-barf, and Tennis Ball adds that since the other undead contestants don't have external internals like Barf Bag does, they have to find another solution to cure everyone else.
Golf Ball asks Barf Bag if she can take the remains of her barf, with the intention of getting the cure to everyone else. Barf Bag agrees, but when Golf Ball realizes there isn't enough, she asks Teardrop needs to sacrifice herself to get more liquid. Tennis Ball reminds Golf Ball that if she does so, she'll get absorbed, which would result in not only her demise but also her elimination. Despite this, Teardrop still decides to sacrifices herself so that they could get more liquid, and saves the apocalypse. Golf Ball thanks Teardrop and Barf Bag for her efforts, adding that their sacrifices will not be in vain.
They are about to leave with the new-found cure to feed it to the undead contestants, but is inconveniently stopped by Two, who teleports them to the elimination place. There, Golf Ball and Tennis Ball are met with Gaty and Pie. Golf Ball questions how they ended up here, and Tennis Ball explains that instead of killing them, they were sent to the elimination place.
In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare', Tennis Ball is seen looking for Barf Bag with Needle. He says that she had been missing since they recovered. When Black Hole mentions that she could possibly be hiding because of what happened last episode, Tennis Ball gets mad and reminds him about how he recommended they try the lava to fix her. The scene cuts to many people, including Tennis Ball.
Later, in Pen's nightmare, Are You Okay is seen in the bush, watching Pen from afar. Tennis Ball then mentions to TV that to revive all of his debt, it will take an eternity. In the next scene, Pen, Eraser, and Tennis Ball are seen making burgers and later dancing in a club. Golf Ball then mentions that it is taking too long to pay back Pen's debt, so recalls the time when she died in one of her dreams and woke up. Tennis Ball suggests killing Pen as it would be more convenient, and they all agree.
In another scene, a montage is shown of everyone on the team attempting to kill Pen, only to accidentally kill themselves. Tennis Ball dies whilst trying to stab Pen whilst he is dancing, but he avoids the knife by jumping up in the air, so TV ends up killing him and vice versa. Eventually, Pen gets eaten by a fish as he is trying to earn more money, and they all escape the nightmare. This, in turn, results in their safety.
In "What's Up Bell's String?", Tennis Ball is placed on a new team, separated from Golf Ball for the first time. He begins to panic, but TV tries to calm him down, reassuring him that he and Pen are there to support him. Tennis Ball wonders if this makes him the leader now that Golf Ball is gone. Pen encourages him, highlighting their teammates' strengths: Bottle's silliness, Basketball's inventiveness, and his own physical capabilities. Moments later, Basketball approaches Tennis Ball and TV, trying to tell them about One, but they misunderstand her.
After the teams have been formed, Two goes around asking for team names. When it’s Tennis Ball's team's turn, Two inquires about their team name. Unsure, Tennis Ball turns to TV, who comes up with the name "." The challenge begins, and Tennis Ball notices Black Hole and Marker leaving to get items for their pit. He directs someone on his team to follow them, and both Pen and Needle volunteer. They leave, and Tennis Ball tells TV it's a good thing he has so much glue on him, suggesting they use it to trap people from other teams. However, seconds later, Basketball is thrown onto TV and gets stuck, causing Tennis Ball to panic as Basketball is on the same team as him.
Subsequently, Basketball struggles to approach Fanny due to being glued to TV, and Tennis Ball tells her to stop. He adds glue to TV's foot and attaches his own to it, saying their team must stick together and stay near their pit. Snowball arrives, intending to throw them into his team's pit, but doesn't immediately realize he's now stuck to them. Tennis Ball informs him they're all glued together, so Snowball decides to drag everyone to the pit with him. They all fall into the pit to their deaths, and is eventually put up for elimination.
In "Category One," Barf Bag inquires about Two’s whereabouts, and Tennis Ball explains that Two is on the roof with the EXITors to decide who will join TPOT, which ends up being Liy and Pencil. Later, Golf Ball recalls Basketball’s disappearance and asks Tennis Ball if he has any leads on the missing three. Tennis Ball checks his tracker and finds none, but notes unusual activity heading toward the hotel. During ’s cake at stake, Tennis Ball is announced as the first safe with 30,124 votes. He high-fives Golf Ball, as both were the first safe on their respective teams. Suddenly, a recovery center hurtles towards him and Pen.
Tennis Ball checks his tracker again and sees something even bigger approaching the hotel, causing him to panic. Golf Ball asks what’s wrong, and the scene reveals a giant David, two dragons, and a swarm of bugs heading toward the hotel. They begin forcing their way inside, prompting Two to announce the next challenge: the teams must protect the hotel from the incoming wildlife. is assigned to deal with the David, and the team heads to Basketball’s aboveground factory to brainstorm strategies.
There, Tennis Ball sets up a presentation for the team. He explains that Davids are unpredictable and can range from five to a hundred feet tall, with a disgusting layer of skin. The David outside hears this and gets provoked. Tennis Ball quickly lowers his voice to avoid further aggravating the David. He concludes that the best course of action is to destroy the David, but Pen suggests an alternative: putting it to sleep.
Tennis Ball agrees that this could work, but he is suddenly alarmed by Golf Ball’s screams from outside. Bottle reassures him that Golf Ball is probably enjoying the excitement of being flung around. Pen asks what they can use to knock out the David. Suddenly, Liy suddenly gets an idea, so Pen and Bottle follow her to Two’s room. Meanwhile, Tennis Ball notices that the David’s attention is drawn to Golf Ball and Donut being tossed around, and this sparks an idea for him.
Later, Liy, Pen, and Bottle return, with Bottle now containing the milk needed for their plan. Tennis Ball introduces them to an enhanced version of TV and explains his strategy. He noticed that the David was distracted by Golf Ball and Donut, so he plans to use TV to lead the David away from the hotel. Meanwhile, Liy, Bottle, and Pen will use the milk to put the David to sleep, preventing any damage to the hotel. With the plan set, the four of them head out to execute it, while Tennis Ball stays behind to operate the controller for TV. He wishes them good luck as they embark on their mission.
Subsequently, Fanny arrives with a unconscious Robot Flower and asks Tennis Ball to reset her before she wakes up. Initially hesitant, Tennis Ball agrees and plugs Robot Flower in to perform the reset. He then asks Fanny if she knows how they can restore Robot Flower to her old self once she wakes up. It turns out that Robot Flower is brought back to normal due to a deal between Basketball and One. As Robot Flower regains consciousness, she asks where she is, surprising both Tennis Ball and Fanny. Suddenly, Basketball appears and accidentally breaks Tennis Ball's controller, leaving Tennis Ball dismayed.
The four of them head downstairs, where Black Hole is trying to prevent the bugs from escaping the hotel. Tennis Ball asks him to use his gravity to neutralize the storm, but Black Hole is hesitant, fearing the bugs will get inside. Tree encourages Black Hole, pointing out that they can still stop the bugs from reaching Two’s room. Black Hole agrees and leaves to address the storm. The rest of the group focuses on eliminating the remaining bugs, and after they succeed, Fanny congratulates everyone for their efforts.
However, Marker spots one last bug that hasn’t been dealt with, prompting everyone to chase it up the stairs. Basketball stops Tennis Ball in his tracks, reminding him that helping Death P.A.C.T Yet Again could reduce their own team's chances of winning. Consequently, Tennis Ball purposely trips himself, causing everyone else to tumble back down to the bottom of the stairs. Tennis Ball offers a sarcastic apology for his clumsiness while Robot Flower rushes back up; the latter is unable to stop the bug from reaching Two's room which results in Death P.A.C.T Yet Again’s loss. Meanwhile, is safe from elimination.
In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!," the challenge requires teams to reach the summit of either the mountain or the volcano and claim a flag to secure immunity. With the rules established, Tennis Ball and the rest of the team head straight for the mountain, quickly beginning to strategize upon arrival. Basketball suggests ordering jetpacks from Robot Flower’s shop to speed up their climb. However, when the jetpacks arrive, Pin swoops in and snatches them, arguing that Robot Flower is her teammate, not theirs, and so they shouldn’t use them. This sparks a heated fight between Pin and , escalating until Black Hole intervenes to break it up. After restoring order, Black Hole leaves with Pin and all but one of the jetpacks, leaving frustrated and forced to rethink their approach.
Fortunately for , Liy managed to salvage one of the jetpacks. However, Tennis Ball struggles to devise a plan to make the most of it. Eventually, they decide that TV will wear the jetpack, while the others hold onto him in a chain formation. With TV leading the way, the group takes off. At first, everything goes smoothly, but it soon becomes clear that the jetpack isn’t powerful enough to support their combined weight. They make a safe landing near a cabin but quickly realize the jetpack is no longer a viable option.
As they regroup, Tennis Ball notices Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again ascending the mountain with the jetpacks Basketball had originally ordered, pointing out that without their own, they're at a serious disadvantage. Pen suggests climbing the rest of the way and attempts it, only to fail due to the steepness of the terrain.
Tennis Ball notes that they’ll need supplies to make further progress. Liy spots the nearby cabin and suggests they search it for anything useful, a plan everyone supports. Just as they approach the cabin, however, they’re ambushed by Snowball, who hurls a massive pile of snow at them before leading his own team inside.
The group work together to free themselves from the snow, and, once successful, celebrate with loud cheers. Their shouts, however, cause the ground beneath them to tremble. Tennis Ball quickly shushes everyone, asking if they noticed the strange sound. Sensing something amiss, he spots a sign nearby that reads: "No Avalanche!" Relieved, the group lets out a collective sigh—until the snow covering the rest of the sign falls away, revealing the full message: "Notice: Avalanche!".
Panic sets in, and Tennis Ball shushes them again, urging silence. In a hushed voice, Bottle nervously asks what’s happening, but Pen cuts in confidently, insisting he has a solution. He announces he’ll order climbing equipment from Robot Flower’s shop, citing the earlier usefulness of the jetpacks. Basketball tries to stop him, warning that it’s a bad idea, but before she can convince him, Pen has already placed the order.
Suddenly, Robot Flower speeds down the mountain, determined to deliver Pen’s package. Her rapid descent triggers the avalanche, forcing Tennis Ball to urgently instruct the team to seek shelter. They make a desperate dash for the cabin and manage to get inside just in time, but the avalanche buries the structure in snow, blocking their only exit.
Inside, tensions quickly escalate as they come face-to-face with Team 2, who accuse them of causing the avalanche. The argument intensifies until Tennis Ball reminds everyone that they’re all trapped with no way out. He proposes using the kill-recover trick to escape, but Ice Cube challenges the logic of his plan, questioning who would recover them and why. Tennis Ball hesitates, unable to provide an answer, prompting Ice Cube to blame him for their predicament. She slams him against the wall, igniting another fight between the teams. However, their brawl is abruptly cut short when the floor beneath them gives way, sending both teams tumbling into a deep, dark pit.
Trapped in the pit, the contestants desperately search for a way out, but every attempt proves futile. Frustration boils over, and another fight breaks out between the teams. Amid the chaos, Ice Cube hurls a skiboard at Pen, causing him to drop his phone. The skiboard ends up tripping Tennis Ball, who ricochets off the phone and lands in a brawl with Ice Cube.
The conflict escalates as the teams continue to bicker and fight. Suddenly, icicles begin to fall from the ceiling, followed by piles of snow that blanket the pit. From beneath the snow, members of Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again emerge, quickly joining the fray. Soon, contestants from all sides are hurling snowballs at each other in a chaotic free-for-all.
The chaos rages on until the teams suddenly remember their primary goal: obtaining the flag. Realizing what’s at stake, everyone dives into the snow, frantically searching for it. After a tense scramble, a hand emerges triumphantly from the snow holding the coveted flag. Tennis Ball initially assumes that Bottle is the one who found it, but Ice Cube quickly corrects him, pointing out that she has her stuck in the snow. The hand is revealed to belong to Grassy, who secures immunity for Team 2. Despite this victory, the second flag on the volcano is still up for grabs.
With the mountain flag claimed, the contestants shift their attention to the volcano, where the remaining flag awaits at its summit. Noticing CloudYAY rapidly approaching the flag, the other teams grow anxious, feeling the race is already lost. Frustrations boil over as they voice their disdain for CloudYAY’s seemingly inevitable victory. Eventually, the teams agree to form a temporary alliance to sabotage CloudYAY.
Acting on this plan, Grassy shoves Snowball into a pile of snow, causing him to merge and grow larger. The contestants pile onto Snowball, using his size to propel themselves forward, but their momentum drives them off a cliff, resulting in the demise of several contestants, including Tennis Ball. Fortunately, Two recovers all the fallen contestants, including CloudYAY members Pencil, Pillow, and Donut. When the three realize that the other teams have allied against them, tensions erupt, sparking a massive brawl between CloudYAY and the rest of the contestants.
Amid the chaos, notices Golf Ball and Yellow Face sprinting toward the volcano and decides to break away from the ongoing uproar to pursue them. Sensing they are being followed, Golf Ball abruptly changes direction and begins constructing something mysterious. Though Tennis Ball is puzzled by her actions, he and the rest of the team continue their ascent up the volcano.
Inside the volcano, Yellow Face has already crossed to the other side of the bridge by the time arrives. As they attempt to cross, Yellow Face begins shaking the bridge violently, causing instability. Tennis Ball loses his footing and accidentally bumps into Liy, sending both of them tumbling into the lava below, meeting their demises.
Despite the combined efforts of the other teams to sabotage CloudYAY, Winner ultimately secures the flag, granting immunity to CloudYAY. As a result, and Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again fail the challenge. Tennis Ball is left vulnerable and is placed among the contestants up for elimination.
In "Seasonal Shift", Tennis Ball, along with the rest of , arrives at the top of the hotel to begin the next Cake at Stake. However, just as Two prepares to start the ceremony, Black Hole notices a series of strange changes: Two vanishes, Marker has inexplicably turned green instead of purple, the hotel itself disappears, and the hosts, as well as the animation, keep shifting. Black Hole tries to point out these inconsistencies, but strangely, no one else seems to notice.
As the Cake at Stake continues, Tennis Ball is announced as the first contestant safe with 24,507 votes and is rewarded with cheese as a prize, which he eagerly devours. Black Hole, confused, interjects, stating that the prize was supposed to be a skateboard. But before he can get an answer, Nine is suddenly replaced by Cheese Orb, who dismissively asserts that the prize has always been cheese and tells Black Hole to be quiet.
As Black Hole continues to voice his concerns, Golf Ball pulls Tennis Ball aside, expressing that she’s never seen Black Hole act like this before. She asks if he thinks things seem unusual, but Tennis Ball brushes it off, saying he doesn’t. He mirrors her question, and Golf Ball agrees that she doesn't find anything unusual, leaving her even more confused.
Black Hole turns to Tennis Ball and Golf Ball, desperately begging them to listen to him. He questions whether this chaotic reality—where Evil Leafy is hosting—could truly be their world. But before they can respond, Evil Leafy is suddenly replaced by Planty, leaving Black Hole even more confused.
Tennis Ball and Golf Ball exchange a brief glance, momentarily reflecting on Black Hole’s outburst. Golf Ball then urges Tennis Ball to come with her. Black Hole tries to stop them, insisting that he wasn't done talking to them, but they swiftly leave. The two head directly to Golf Ball's Underground Factory, where they find the Yoylite lying on the ground. It doesn’t take long for them to realize that Black Hole was right all along.
Golf Ball moves to check the computer, and the footage of the failed debuters tampering with the Yoylite plays on the screen. Panicked, the duo takes the Yoylite back to the others. Six is about to announce the next challenge when Tennis Ball and Golf Ball interrupt. Six scolds them for their disruption, but Tennis Ball quickly covers Six's mouth, while Golf Ball explains that Black Hole was right—things were changing. She points to the Yoylite as proof.
At first, the contestants are skeptical, but Golf Ball elaborates, explaining that Black Hole’s immense gravitational pull keeps his memories intact, making him immune to the space-time anomalies that affect everyone else. Tennis Ball adds that ten years ago, he used the exact same Yoylite to travel back in time to last year, risking a potential mess-up of the future. He deduces that if the failed debuters traveled back in time and are now altering the timeline, the consequences could be disastrous.
Suddenly, a crack opens in the sky, signaling the start of the timeline's collapse. Everyone's memories of the original timeline flood back, and the next challenge is announced: teams must use fragments of the Yoylite to travel to the past and retrieve the lost debuters. The two teams that recover the most will earn immunity, while the remaining two will face elimination. is assigned the task of retrieving Kitchen Sink, who time travelled back to January 12th, 2018. With resolve, Tennis Ball and the rest of set off without hesitation, leaving TV behind to monitor the timeline and provide updates.
Upon arriving, materializes atop a cliff, overlooking the contestants in the middle of BFB 5's challenge. As the group observes their surroundings, distant screams echo through the air. They turn to see Kitchen Sink recklessly chasing Free Food in a paper airplane. In a chaotic moment, the two planes collide, sending the members of Free Food hurtling toward the ground. However, Kitchen Sink swiftly catches them in their plane and glides away.
Tennis Ball immediately declares that Kitchen Sink needs to be stopped. With determination, he, Liy, and Pen get to work building their own paper plane. As they do so, Bottle eagerly steps onto the unfinished plane, ready for action. Pen, Liy, and Tennis Ball quickly shout at her to get off, which Bottle complies with. However, once the plane is completed, she eagerly jumps back onto it.
Finally, with the plane ready, the team prepares to launch. But to their surprise, it unexpectedly transforms into an air balloon. Confused, Liy asks what just happened, while Tennis Ball theorizes that since CloudYAY went back further in the timeline than they did, something must have been altered, creating a ripple effect that’s affecting random details throughout the timeline. Pen urges everyone to board the air balloon and go after Kitchen Sink, and so the team climbs aboard.
In mid-air, they collide first with Beep and then with Free Food. Though the impact is jarring, they manage to survive. Tennis Ball, spotting Kitchen Sink in Free Food's air balloon, urgently demands that they come back to them, but Kitchen Sink refuses, continuing their chaotic rampage as the air balloons transform into rocket ships.
Suddenly, the rocket ships morph into boats mid-air, sending all the teams plummeting toward the ground. Liy, clearly fed up, activates her secret switch, transforming into a more aggressive version of herself. With newfound determination, she charges toward Free Food's boat, confronting Kitchen Sink. In one swift motion, she grabs Kitchen Sink, slams them onto the boat, and shatters them into pieces. With Kitchen Sink neutralized, Liy reverts back to her original form.
Tennis Ball exclaims urgently that they need to hope reality shifts again, or else they'll plummet to their possible permanent deaths. Just as the group begins to lose hope, the boats morph into clouds, breaking everyone’s fall and preventing disaster. Pen, relieved but still focused, picks up Kitchen Sink's shattered corpse and urges the team to return to the present. However, Tennis Ball asks if they should clean up the mess first. The group looks around at the rest of the cast, who are all staring back at them in silence. After a moment of hesitation, Tennis Ball sighs, and they all leave.
Upon arrival, Four commends the group for their successful efforts before quickly redirecting them to June 29th, 2012. They materialize amidst the BFDI contestants, who are carrying Clapboard toward the Announcer Crusher. The sight unsettles Tennis Ball, who immediately recognizes this moment as the time when he, Pen, and several others had tried to execute Leafy after she sold Dream Island. Bottle, noting the irony, glances at Pen, who quickly insists that he wasn't happy about it. The focus shifts to Pen’s past self, visibly eager and enthusiastic about the impending execution. Pen insists that the past is in the past.
As the BFDI contestants place Clapboard onto the platform, the Announcer Crusher is activated, and the crushing mechanism descends toward Clapboard. In a panic, Tennis Ball urgently points out that they have very little time and asks what they should do. Liy quickly notices Leafy quietly slipping away from the scene and urges the rest of the team to follow after her. Without hesitation, everyone takes chase, but they lose sight of Leafy as she disappears into the forest.
Recalling the path Leafy took in the original timeline, Tennis Ball directs the group to the left. Soon, they catch up to her. In an attempt to block their path, Leafy tries to throw a nearby tree at the group, but the tree lands on Tennis Ball, whose bounciness redirects the tree's trajectory. It ends up landing directly in front of Leafy, trapping her and preventing any further escape.
Despite Leafy’s pleas, the group takes her back to the others. Her sudden reappearance sparks a renewed chase among the BFDI contestants, giving the perfect opportunity. Seizing the moment, the team rescues Clapboard from the platform just as the Announcer Crusher threatens to crush them. With the mission completed, they activate the Yoylite and teleport back to the present, feeling relieved.
Carrot Cake then directs them to their next destination: March 1st, 2011. Upon arrival, they spot Leek climbing a massive barf bag where the contestants are competing inside. Pen calls out to Leek, signaling them to come down, but Bubble, who hears him from inside the bag, mistakenly thinks Pen's call is a warning about an actual leak. In a chaotic moment, Leek accidentally tears a hole in the bag, sending vomit spilling everywhere.
Frustrated, Liy and Pen scramble to climb up after Leek, while Bottle picks up Tennis Ball and carries him along. Later, Team 2 arrives, determined to retrieve Leek. Snowball picks up Price Tag and rips another large hole in the barf bag, sending more vomit spilling out. Bottle notices their intent and tells Liy and Pen to keep climbing, while she and Tennis Ball handle the immediate threat. The duo leaps down to confront Team 2, with Bottle kicking Tennis Ball toward them, causing Team 2 to trip and fall over.
Tennis Ball is relentlessly pursued by Team 2, but Snowball catches up to him and throws him at Bottle, causing her to drop Leek. However, the vomit she was carrying spills, causing all its members to slip and glide away. With Team 2 neutralized, Tennis Ball and the rest of regroup, securing Leek before teleporting back to the present with their mission successfully completed.
As the group turns in Leek, Ean congratulates them for successfully retrieving their third debuter. However, everyone's attention quickly shifts to the alarming sight of the crack in the sky growing dangerously large. Tree, confused, demands to know whether or Team 2 are responsible for the destabilization of the timeline, but both teams awkwardly deny any involvement.
Just as the uncertainty intensifies, TV warns the contestants of another dire situation. CloudYAY have time-travelled back to BFDI 25, leaving their Yoylite behind. The news sends a shockwave through the group, as they realize that CloudYAY’s reckless actions are likely the cause of the timeline instability that’s growing worse by the second.
Determined to fix the timeline, the teams prepare to use their Yoylites to travel back in time and stop CloudYAY from causing further damage. But just as they’re about to activate their devices, the Yoylites across all teams suddenly lose their vibrant color, floating eerily in the air for a moment before the colors are sucked out of them entirely. They then drop lifelessly to the ground, leaving the contestants staring in disbelief. Tennis Ball tries using one of them but quickly comes to the conclusion that the Yoylies are now no longer capable of time travel.
With their primary means of traveling through time now useless, the contestants are left to face the growing chaos of the timeline with no clear way to undo the damage CloudYAY has caused. The crack in the sky widens, signaling the catastrophic collapse of the timeline, and all hope seems lost as the reality they know begins to unravel before their eyes.
Trapped in the present with no way to stop CloudYAY's potential interference or fix the damage already done, the contestants watch in helpless horror as CloudYAY's reckless actions continue to unfold on TV. Each moment only worsens the situation, and their worst fears come true when Leafy is allowed onto Dream Island, an event that effectively seals the collapse of the timeline. The crack in the sky grows even larger, signaling the imminent destruction of everything they’ve fought for.
Desperation fills the air as Tennis Ball turns to Black Hole for a solution, but Black Hole, with dread in his voice, fears it's already too late and that they may be doomed. As the crack continues to expand, the contestants cling to each other, bracing themselves for what seems like their final moments, knowing that this time, their deaths would be permanent. The sky tears apart further, and the very fabric of reality seems to unravel before their eyes.
Just as all hope seems lost, however, the timeline suddenly snaps back into place. A deal made between Gaty and One has repaired the damage, and Two reappears, bringing stability back to the world. CloudYAY is also returned to the present, and almost everything appears to have been fixed. But even as the immediate threat subsides, the crack in the sky remains, though it is now much smaller and more manageable. With the timeline stabilized and the immediate danger averted, the team breathes a collective sigh of relief.
In the aftermath, Four and X announce the challenge results. and CloudYAY are announced as safe and granted immunity, leaving the other two teams lose and are put up for elimination. This means that Tennis Ball is safe for now.
