Plot[]
Cold opening[]
In the aftermath of the recent storm, Liy, Grassy, and Bottle (now filled with grass), are regrowing some of the grass in the grasslands. Eraser, Pen, and Winner are duct taping a tree. The tree falls onto and kills Shampoo, leaving his remains which Eraser uses to fix the tree. Price Tag, Ice Cube, and Book are collecting junk when Ice Cube gets a note saying “FreeSmart WANTS YOU!”, with details about Pencil's rebranded cross-team alliance. Pencil suddenly crawls out of the note, trying to get Book and Ice Cube's attention until Price Tag kicks her away. Book and Ice Cube are sweeping in the grasslands until Book gazes upon a rebuilt Clubhouse of Awesomeness. Pencil grabs the two to and pulls them inside of the Clubhouse of Awesomeness as she renews her pitch, but Pencil is once again interrupted by Price Tag, who pulls Book and Ice Cube away from her.
In the next scene, Book and Ice Cube are cleaning the hotel's windows until they spot a broken down van dubbed The CloudYAY Mega Supervan. Pencil tells Book that Ruby has 'stolen' her other supervan and adds that she spent all of her money to buy a new clubhouse. Meanwhile, whilst looking at his phone, Yellow Face nervously remembers buying the Supervan from Ruby, and in turn selling the Supervan to Lewis.
Pencil slams her fists on the van and kicks it, aggressively requesting Book and Ice Cube to join her alliance. The van bursts into flames and Pencil kicks it away into the hotel. The scene changes to Robot Flower reopening her store, expressing that she feels that there'll be customers very soon. The van crashes through the window and explodes into flames.
Two walks out of the basement and sees the van. They then teleport everyone, including the failed debuters, to a damaged Gelatin's Steakhouse. They put everyone in 'time out' and state that they will clean up the mess caused by the storm themselves. They ask everyone to stay out of trouble before teleporting away. Anchor distracts everyone by telling them that what Two meant was that it is time for Cake at Stake.
Cake at Stake[]
After the intro, PDA grabs a wire from TV and plugs it into Camera. Camera warns PDA to be careful as to avoid hurting them, which PDA carelessly ignores. PDA then starts to announce the cake before getting interrupted by Eraser, who blurts out his iconic "Which iiisssss?" line. PDA is visibly disgruntled, embarrassing Eraser. Things quickly get back on track and PDA announces that the cake for today is a picture being taken of you for when you are announced safe.
Team 2[]
PDA starts with Team 2 and states that Grassy is safe at 25,183 votes. They take a picture but it comes out extremely blurry on TV's screen and Pencil exclaims to Ice Cube that Grassy had made an ugly face, only to be ignored. Following this, Anchor announces that Price Tag is safe with 21,104 votes. He then jumps up in the air in excitement and falls through the ground. Leek looks down into the hole. Blender then takes a picture of Price Tag, their eyes turning into hashtags from the flash. The picture is also shown to be blurry, as with all the others takes after. Leek then says that Book and Snowball are safe, receiving 20,781 and 19,985 votes respectively. They then run over to the hole in which Anchor fell down and asks if he is okay. After no audible reply is given, a worried Leek deduces that Anchor is gone.
Book then grabs Snowball for the picture. Book poses for it but Snowball is reluctant and is shown to be angry in the blurred-out image. Book then uses Marker to draw a smile on Snowball's angry face. Marker says it tickles, and this is shown to repeat on TV's screen, implying that drawing on TV's screen tickles him. Battery announces that 'it's down to the bottom two.', Eraser and Ice Cube. They state that they stopped the fish monsters from last episode in unison.
An unimpressed Boom Mic reveals that Ice Cube survives with 13,243 votes. Ice Cube then does her 'ugly face' in her picture and shows it to Pencil, much to the latter's disgust. Conch Shell tells Eraser that he's out with 12,292 votes. Eraser then looks over at Bottle, shaking with anger that he managed to get out before her. Bottle jokingly exclaims that it was her master plan and that he had fallen into her trap, much to Eraser's dismay.
Eraser throws Bottle to the side, causing her to roll towards some debris in the corner of the Steakhouse. Pen runs over and worriedly exclaims that he's sorry and expresses that he has no idea what to do with him, Needle and Blocky all leaving his side. Liy looks over at them, possibly feeling sad because she thought that Pen would at least mention that he still has her as a friend. Scissors interrupts with a scissors-related pun, to the unamused silence of everyone else except Pillow. They then awkwardly move on to Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again's elimination.
Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again[]
Scissors announces that Black Hole and Fanny are safe with 24,546 and 22,087 votes respectively. Rubber Spatula takes a picture of them and tells them to work on their smiles. Tape then wraps tape around Marker while telling him that he's safe with 15,961 votes. Due to being wrapped in so much tape, Marker suffocates and dies, and Pin angrily sticks Tape onto the wall as punishment.
Tape makes a 'sticking' pun about it, only to be met with unamusement from the others. 9-Ball then declares Pin and Robot Flower safe, with 15,516 and 14,472 votes respectively. Pin begins to dance with Robot Flower in celebration, while Robot Flower reacts with surprise to being so well-liked. Both are caught off-guard by Camera's sudden flash. Income Tax Return Document announces the bottom two: Gaty and Tree. Both are distressed, and cling onto Pin and Fanny respectively for comfort. ITRD grabs Gaty and tells her she is out with 9,089 votes. Tree gets to stay with 10,917 votes.
After Cake at Stake[]
Pin and Gaty are both distressed and saddened by the latter's elimination, when suddenly, Book spots the missing posters and, realizing the ongoing pattern with the eliminated contestants going missing, shouts at everyone to protect Eraser and Gaty immediately. Pen picks up Eraser, but Conch Shell grabs him, insisting they're the most responsible. Pillow snaps at them before grabbing Eraser from an offended Conch Shell, but Pencil snatches Eraser from her, insisting on doing the protecting in a desperate attempt to convince Book and Ice Cube that she's responsible.
Everyone begins to fight over protecting the newly eliminated contestants, with Golf Ball suggesting to build a protective barrier around them. Snowball offers to fight everyone off. Price Tag becomes intrigued by the eliminated contestants becoming a 'hot commodity'.
Bottle rolls toward Pencil, knocking Eraser out of her hands. She then proceeds to catch Eraser, but he angrily states that he'd rather go missing than have her protect him, and throws her over the wall. Meanwhile, Two is cleaning the wall of the hotel when they witness Bottle shatter. Angered by this, they teleport back to the steakhouse, where Eraser has just been accidentally impaled through the eye by Scissors.
Two asks what is going on, but immediately has Fanny thrown at them by Pillow, who had not realized that the fight had stopped. Two chastises everyone for getting into a fight when they told them to quit the chaos. PDA insists that it's not their fault that Eraser was eliminated and that the group was only trying to protect him. Two is surprised to hear that Cake at Stake took place without them, but worriedly asks TV who is eliminated. TV informs them that Eraser and Gaty are out, and Two becomes saddened by the latter's departure.
Eraser then tells Two to hurry up and eliminate him, insisting that getting out is better than being in an injured state. Two complies and grabs Eraser, but before Eraser goes, he vows to Bottle that he will 'have his revenge'. In the elimination space, he hears Naily's voice and banging on the door. Rocky vomits on it, disintegrating it open to let him, Naily, Remote, Foldy, and Teardrop in. They are all surprised to see him, with Remote informing him that nobody has shown up in a while. Eraser looks out the window to see Fries on top of Puffball, encouraging her to try and break through a barrier. Eraser asks where the group are and Remote says that they were hoping he would know. Fries yells for Puffball to ram into the barrier again, starting the intro.
After the intro[]
Donut and Robot Flower attempt to console Gaty about her elimination, with Robot Flower saying that they will win for her. Marker and Tree celebrate the fact that no old pact members were lost, only to immediately realize that the current situation proves the comment to be in extremely poor taste. Two sorrowfully teleports Gaty away, and Pin asks if they're okay, to which they reply with an unconvincing "yeah".
Gaty wakes up in the kitchen, seeing a shrine to Clock set up on the counter. X very suddenly welcomes her, and lets her know she has 'a lot to live up to'. They task her with finishing them and Four's leftover lunch. Gaty beleives the task not to be too bad, but immediately has a veritable truckload of food dumped on top of her.
Challenge[]
Two announces that it is time for the next challenge. Not trusting the contestants to behave themselves after the chaos of post-Cake at Stake, they teleport away with the contestants in tow. The failed debuters are left in the steakhouse alone, where PDA suggests they escape through the hole Anchor left in the floor earlier.
Meanwhile, everyone else is teleported to an area with a snowy mountain and a volcano. Two attempts to joke about the location, and again this punning is met with an unamused silence, with Fanny in particular saying that she hates them. Two responds that they hate Fanny's attitude, and then proceeds to make another pun, much to the latter's annoyance.
Two then explains that there are two immunity flags up for grabs, one on each summit. The first two teams to have any one of their members grab a flag will win immunity, leaving the other two up for elimination. They ask if anyone has any questions, to which Liy questions why anyone would go for the dangerous volcanic flag. She is immediately proven wrong about it, however, when CloudYAY immediately decides to go for the volcano flag, knowing well that only they would set out for the volcano. Two expresses a lack of care about which immunity each team decides to go for, but says it's up to them to decide when the challenge starts. After a few seconds of silence, Tennis Ball suggests they just start now, to which Two complies.
Golf Ball looks out at the volcano and starts to lay out a plan, but Donut stops her and asks her to remember what they talked about last episode. Golf Ball and Donut argue about the former's lack of ability to lead the team, but Pencil pulls out the CloudYAY Mega SuperVan, now crudely duct-taped back together, and tells everybody to get in. Golf Ball begins to protest, but bites her tounge back and reluctantly gets in the van, with the rest of CloudYAY quickly following her.
Meanwhile, the rest of the teams are headed for the snowy mountain. Black Hole zips ahead of the crowd and uses his gravity to fling Grassy and Snowball backwards. Grassy, in retaliation, kicks Snowball into the snow, causing him to grow larger and roll over Tree and Fanny, stunning them. TV accidentally runs Tree over, crushing and killing him. Pin rushes over to recover Tree, who thanks her, only to be yelled at to hurry, as Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again cannot afford to lose any more members.
The three teams reach a cliff, and Black Hole lifts his team members up in his orbit. Liy accuses him of cheating before throwing Pen at Fanny, causing her to fall out of Black Hole's orbit and to her demise. TV mocks the team with a clip of W.O.A.H. Bunch heckling Team No-Name.
Basketball proposes ordering jetpacks from Robot Flower's shop. After receiving the request, Robot Flower promptly departs to retrieve the jetpacks, unintentionally causing Black Hole to release Pin, Marker, and Tree. The trio fall to the ground but survive the impact. Tree swiftly regains his footing and sets off to recover Fanny, while Robot Flower rushes back to the hotel to collect the jetpacks.
As Team 2 ascends the mountain, Snowball discovers that the icicles can serve as climbing tools. Using this newfound advantage, they continue their climb, utilizing the icicles as makeshift climbing sticks.
Concurrently, Robot Flower returns with the jetpacks, earning Basketball's gratitude. Liy quickly equips one and urges the team to move as fast as possible. However, before anyone else can use them, Pin seizes the remaining jetpacks, insisting that cannot use them since Robot Flower is her teammate, not theirs.
A struggle breaks out between Pin and over control of the jetpacks until Black Hole intervenes. He advises Pin to let it go before picking her up, along with all but one of the jetpacks. Returning to their own team, Black Hole instructs everyone to gear up and leave immediately. Fanny, Marker, Pin, and Tree use the jetpacks to ascend the mountain, while Black Hole carries Robot Flower, as there aren’t enough jetpacks for everyone.
watch as Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again ascend the mountain with the jetpacks they were meant to use, leaving them scrambling for an alternative plan. Tennis Ball contemplates what they can achieve with just one jetpack, while Bottle envisions placing the jetpack inside herself. Her imagination runs wild, picturing the jetpack spinning out of control and eventually crashing, shattering her in the process.
Despite the chaotic outcome, she considers it a viable idea. However, before Bottle can propose her plan, she notices Liy attaching the jetpack to TV. The team quickly adopts a new strategy: TV will pilot the jetpack while the rest of the team hold onto him in a chain for the ascent.
Meanwhile, Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again arrive at a cabin midway up the mountain. Pin suggests that Black Hole use his gravity to retrieve the flag, and he agrees, instructing the team to stay safe as he continues the climb alone.
Elsewhere, TV leads ’s ascent with the jetpack, carrying the rest of the team in a precarious chain. Bottle screams throughout the journey, while Pen attempts to reassure her, insisting that they’ll be fine. Basketball notices the jetpack struggling to handle the combined weight of the team, causing it to malfunction. Panic spreads as everyone begins yelling, except for Bottle, who, in stark contrast, cheekily tells Pen to stop yelling, playfully insisting they’ll be fine. She giggles at the chaos around her, unfazed by the situation.
At the top of the mountain, Black Hole reaches the flag but notices it is guarded by a strange and unfamiliar plant. Puzzled, he pauses to assess the situation.
Meanwhile, CloudYAY ascend the volcano in their CloudYAY Mega Supervan. Donut expresses concern that the van won’t hold together much longer, but Pencil dismisses him, insisting that everything is fine. Moments later, the van explodes, sending the team plummeting to the bottom. Despite the van's complete destruction, the group remain unharmed. Pencil, unfazed, brushes off the mishap and scolds Donut for complaining.
Switching strategies, Pillow sprints up the volcano on foot, while Golf Ball reveals her backup plan. She pulls out a red box, presses a button, and watches as it unfolds into a construction table with a chalkboard showcasing blueprints for a drill. Golf Ball explains that she has been saving this design for a situation like this and insists it will help them advance through the challenge. However, the rest of the team ignore her and follows Pillow’s lead. Stunned, Golf Ball watches as her teammates walk away. Winner glances back with an apologetic look, acknowledging that the team is going with the majority vote. Undeterred, Golf Ball vows that they’ll regret their decision and come crawling back.
While the rest of Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again wait, Robot Flower notices something unusual and asks Tree if he got a haircut. Tree, pleased that someone noticed, agrees but mentions he could really use some warmth. He redirects the team’s attention to a nearby cabin, suggesting they take a moment to warm up inside.
As the team prepare to move, Marker expresses concern about Black Hole’s prolonged absence and suggests they go search for him. The group departs with their jetpacks, but Robot Flower, lacking one, asks how she’s supposed to keep up. Pin takes her hand, reassuring her before taking off and guiding her as they ascend toward the summit together. As they continue their climb, Robot Flower notes that Pin seems too heavy for her to carry effectively while using the jetpack. Pin quickly counters with a sarcastic remark, brushing off the comment as they press on.
Meanwhile, continues to struggle with their one jetpack. The group reaches the edge of a cliff, where Liy systematically drops off her teammates one by one, starting with Bottle. She initially climbs back aboard, thinking she was dropped accidentally, but Liy firmly leaves Bottle behind, telling her to stay put. The rest of the team land safely below as Liy methodically removes each member.
Tennis Ball, observing Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again still ascending the mountain with the jetpacks from a distance, attempts to proceed on foot. However, he quickly discovers the mountain is far too steep, and that they are in a dire situation without proper equipment. As TV finally lands, he drops Liy, who bounces off Tennis Ball and lands safely in the snow. Pen also tries climbing but fails, leaving the group at a standstill.
Tennis Ball suggests getting supplies to continue and directs everyone toward a nearby cabin to search for useful tools. Before they can act on the plan, however, Snowball arrives with his team. Without hesitation, Snowball hurls a massive heap of snow over , trapping them under it. With immobilized, Snowball and his teammates proceed into the cabin themselves. As Team 2 burst into the cabin, work together to free themselves from the snow, with Bottle gathering piles of snow and stuffing them inside herself, remarking on the "chilly" sensation.
In the cabin, Team 2 encounters Firey Jr.. Price Tag asks who he is, and Firey Jr. mirrors the question. Before Price Tag can introduce themself, Firey Jr. explains that the storm stranded him at the cabin some time ago, and the harsh cold has kept him from leaving, leading him to make the cabin his home. Snowball instructs the team to utilize anything in the cabin that might help them progress in the challenge.
Book and Price Tag begin searching through drawers, eventually finding food. Book quickly devours it, and Price Tag attempts to eat as well, only for the food to bump against their face, emphasizing their inability to consume food like the others.
Snowball picks up a pair of garden shears, examining them with interest. However, Ice Cube redirects everyone's attention to a nearby closet, where they discover a collection of skiing equipment neatly stored inside. The group begins to strategize on how to utilize the gear for their ascent.
Meanwhile, Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again continue their search for Black Hole. Along the way, Tree notices that Pin and Robot Flower are missing from the group. Doubling back to locate them, the team finds the pair stranded due to a jetpack malfunction—Pin's jetpack had crashed, unable to handle the combined weight of her and Robot Flower. Frustrated, Fanny expresses her hatred for defective products, while the rest of the team removes their jetpacks, agreeing to continue on foot.
Marker tries to redirect the team's focus, reminding everyone that finding Black Hole is their top priority. As they proceed, Tree spots a sign along the path but realizes it is surrounded by an alarming number of warning signs cautioning travelers to turn back. Despite the foreboding messages, the group collectively decide to press on, undeterred in their mission to locate Black Hole and secure victory in the challenge.
As the group continues on their journey, Fanny notices Tree shivering from the cold and uses her fan to blow away some of the snow, offering a kind gesture that brings a smile to Tree's face. However, Pin interrupts, nudging Tree aside with a curt comment, telling them that it's enough before moving on ahead. The group proceeds cautiously and encounters an obstacle course, which they navigate with care.
Meanwhile, as CloudYAY ascends the volcano, they approach a wobbly bridge. Pencil tests the bridge and finds it too unstable to cross. Donut suggests they look for an alternative route, but before anyone can reply, Pillow kicks them all onto the bridge, forcing them to cross. As Pencil and Donut carefully make their way across; Pillow, Winner, and Yellow Face start shaking the bridge relentlessly. Pencil demands they stop, but they ignore her, and soon, the entire group plummets into the lava below.
Winner, immune to lava, emerges unharmed and quickly returns to rescue the fallen contestants. When they arrive back at the base, Golf Ball is busy constructing the drill for her plan. She asks Winner how the ascent went, but Winner doesn’t respond and instead shows a sad expression. Golf Ball, noticing the change in Winner's demeanor, mutters, "I thought so."
Meanwhile, the members of are still helping each other out of the snow, and once they’ve managed to free themselves, they cheer in celebration. Tennis Ball, however, shushes them and points out that he hears an unusual sound, suggesting that something may be unstable. TV directs Liy's attention to a partially obscured sign that reads: "No Avalanche!" causing her to breathe a sigh of relief. However, as the snow covering the rest of the message falls off, the full notice is revealed: "Notice: Avalanche!" Panic spreads among the group. Bottle, unaware of the situation, says that it's a relief, only for Tennis Ball, Basketball, and TV to shush her.
Bottle, confused, quietly asks what’s going on, but Pen, undeterred by the panic, declares that it doesn't matter since he has an idea: since Robot Flower’s jetpacks were useful earlier, he’ll simply order climbing equipment from the same shop. Despite Basketball’s urgent warning not to proceed, Pen has already placed the order.
As Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again continues navigating the obstacle course, Robot Flower suddenly receives the notification from Pen and quickly dashes off. Her rapid descent down the mountain triggers the avalanche. Panic sets in, and Tennis Ball urges the team to quickly find shelter. They scramble towards the nearby cabin for safety.
Concurrently, Winner is recovering the rest of their team. Once everyone is gathered, Golf Ball attempts to update them on her plan, but they ignore her and restart their ascent up the volcano. When they reach the unstable bridge, Winner throws everyone to the other side before making their own way across. The group continues, but soon encounter an even larger area of lava, this time with no bridge to cross. Pencil picks up Winner and tells them to let her know how safe it is. As she prepares to throw, a fearsome lava monster suddenly emerges from the molten depths. In an instant, Pillow throws Pencil directly into the lava monster’s mouth, where she burns to death.
The rest of the group stands frozen, stunned by the unexpected tragedy, but before Winner can propose a solution, they are devoured by the lava monster, along with Yellow Face and Pillow. Left in shock, Donut is forced to return and rescue everyone. Golf Ball asks how it went, but Donut ignores her, and swiftly recovers the rest of the team.
Two watches as the group leave before teleporting themselves to the kitchen, where Gaty is waiting. Gaty is happy to see them, and Two teleports their hangout couch into the kitchen before they both sit down. Two asks if Gaty likes the cool new gig they've gotten her, and Gaty responds that it's certainly interesting. Just then, Four and X appear, with Four asking if Two has any plans of getting the couch out of there.
Elsewhere, Team 2 is preparing to leave with the equipment when suddenly the door bursts open, and a heap of snow blocks the only exit. The immense load of snow reminds Grassy of Snowball, and soon, members of emerge from the snow. Snowball, furious, angrily demands to know what has done, and lashes out by hitting Liy.
Liy warns him not to do that again, but Snowball, unfazed by the threat, flicks her switch multiple times before pushing her back. Liy, having had enough, pulls out her secret switch and prepares to flick it, but is interrupted by Pen, who tells Snowball to leave his teammate alone. This interaction upsets Book, who pushes Pen and tells him to leave Snowball alone.
Before the confrontation can escalate further, Tennis Ball steps in. He reminds everyone that they’re all stuck inside anyway, and that the obvious solution is to use the kill-recover trick to escape. Ice Cube questions the logic of this idea, asking who would even recover them and why. Because Tennis Ball fails to provide an answer, Ice Cube gets mad and exclaims that he's "doomed them all" before headbutting him into the wall.
A massive fight breaks out between the two teams, with Firey Jr. begging them to stop, but his pleas are ignored. Price Tag kicks Liy, causing her to fall onto Firey Jr., and Firey Jr. angrily tells everyone to just leave if they can't behave. The chaos continues, and TV pushes Book onto Firey Jr. The contact causes Firey Jr. to go warm, and the combined energy eventually causes the structure to collapse. Everyone falls into a massive pit below.
Back with CloudYAY, the group decides to abandon their earlier approach and move forward with Golf Ball's plan. One by one, they climb into Golf Ball's now-finished drill. Golf Ball smugly remarks that she knew they’d eventually come crawling back to her. Pencil presses a button, and the drill begins burrowing into the volcano.
Inside the drill, Pencil grudgingly admits that Golf Ball's invention is actually "pretty great." Golf Ball takes the compliment in stride, but Donut starts to notice the temperature rising significantly. Although no one else feels it yet, he begins to sweat profusely. Winner, noticing Donut's discomfort, asks if he’s okay. Donut replies that he feels unusually hot, growing more concerned with each passing moment.
Pillow, with her usual unbothered demeanor, takes a bite out of Donut as she casually calls the taste "cooked to perfection." Donut, horrified, alerts the rest of team that he's in serious pain right now. Pencil suggests they put Donut out of his misery, an idea Pillow enthusiastically supports. She lunges toward Donut, but Winner intervenes, shoving her back and preventing her from reaching him.
Moments later, Donut unexpectedly explodes, causing a wave of panic and screams from the team. The interior of the drill becomes chaotic as everyone scrambles to assess the damage and figure out what’s happening. Amid the turmoil, Pillow remains unfazed, calmly licking the cherry filling off her face. She smiles, unbothered by the horror around her.
The chaos in the drill escalates as Pencil, still disoriented from Donut’s explosion, inadvertently presses a series of random buttons. The drill jerks violently and veers off course. Golf Ball, alarmed, demands to know what’s happening. The others, desperate to regain control, start pressing buttons as well, hoping one will fix the situation.
Yellow Face cheers enthusiastically, seemingly enjoying the commotion. Golf Ball snaps at the group, calling them "buffoons," and insists they leave the situation to the expert—herself. However, the drill has already spun completely out of control. Despite the imminent danger, Pencil gleefully taunts Golf Ball, telling her that she loves to say it, but her drill is now "pretty bad." Golf Ball shoots back, blaming Pencil’s “worthless” van for forcing them into this situation in the first place. The two rapidly slap each other in frustration, escalating their argument.
As the drill edges closer to disaster, Pencil bitterly mentions that everything would’ve been fine if she still had her old supervan. This triggers a realization in Yellow Face, who suddenly gasps and pulls out his phone. A conversation he had with Lewis reveals that Yellow Face had been negotiating to buy back the van for $10,000. However, Lewis demanded an astronomical sum of $2,454,334,221,126,883. Yellow Face is visibly stunned, exclaiming that such an amount would completely drain his life savings.
Soon enough, the group start to realize that Donut was right: the temperature is dangerously high. Golf Ball admits she doesn't think the drill can withstand heat of this magnitude for much longer. Just then, the drill comes into contact with the lava, causing everyone inside—except Winner—to succumb to it. Now alone, Winner surveys their surroundings, and it becomes clear that they have no idea which direction leads where.
Meanwhile, Black Hole continues contemplating how to deal with the plant guarding the flag. He briefly considers killing the plant but ultimately decides against it, knowing the team wouldn't approve. Instead, he uses his gravity to gently redirect the plant elsewhere, ensuring it won't be harmed.
Elsewhere, Robot Flower arrives with Pen's delivery and detects him inside the cabin. However, with the cabin completely buried under snow, she's unable to reach him. Meanwhile, in the pit below, Pen receives a notification that the delivery was unsuccessful. He then turns to Basketball and apologizes for not heeding her warning earlier, conceding that they might truly be trapped.
Snowball, growing increasingly agitated, attempts to use the garden shear from earlier to dig their way out, but his efforts are futile. Frustrated, he lashes out at Bottle, blaming her "idiotic" team for their current predicament and striking her with the garden shear. Bottle retaliates by launching a heap of snow at him, which upsets Ice Cube. In response, Ice Cube kicks a skiboard at Pen, causing him to drop his phone. Tennis Ball trips over the skiboard, ricochets off Pen’s phone, and accidentally collides with Ice Cube, escalating the chaos into a full-blown scuffle.
As the scuffle rages on, Pen receives another notification on his phone, informing him that his delivery has been redirected to the summit of the mountain. Confused, Pen wonders aloud what this could mean. Outside, Robot Flower is seen speeding up the mountain, determined to deliver the package to Pen at the summit.
Back in the pit, Liy grabs a pile of snow from Bottle and hurls it at Book, sparking a massive brawl between the two teams. The chaos intensifies, with snow flying in every direction.
Meanwhile, Black Hole struggles to drag the plant away from the flag. The plant briefly yawns and settles back into sleep, allowing Black Hole a moment to catch his breath. Just as he resumes his efforts, the rest of Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again arrives. Marker gasps upon spotting the flag, but Tree quickly shushes him, urging him not to disturb the plant. Their caution is short-lived, however, as Robot Flower arrives at top speed, inadvertently knocking everyone over in the process. The team tumbles into the plant, causing it to jostle the flag. The flag falls onto the snow, momentarily within their reach.
Robot Flower, unfazed by the plant's menacing appearance, confidently approaches it. She mistakes the creature for someone meant to sign the delivery order form on Pen's behalf. Before she can finish her sentence, however, the plant suddenly slams her into the ground with a violent force, shattering the brief moment of relief for the team.
Black Hole looks to the rest of the group, confident they can handle the situation just as they dealt with Robot Flower last episode. Fanny, Marker, Pin, and Tree step forward to confront the plant, which responds with a thunderous roar. Tree makes the first move, lunging at the plant, but the creature easily counters, slamming Tree into the ground with immense force.
The impact creates deep cracks beneath them, and Black Hole, realizing the imminent danger, swiftly gathers everyone to safety just as the ground collapses, taking the plant with it. In the chaos, Black Hole ends up losing Tree, and the flag is also lost.
Marker signals the urgency of dealing with the plant, prompting Black Hole to take action. He sets Marker, Fanny, and Pin down before deciding to relocate the plant. Black Hole eventually finds a spot behind the cabin from earlier and leaves the plant there, ensuring it's out of the way.
Meanwhile, in the pit, the fighting between and Team 2 continues as massive icicles begin to fall from the ceiling. This is quickly followed by an avalanche of snow and the sudden arrival of Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again, who emerge from the snowpile. Their unexpected appearance surprises Liy, but the moment is interrupted as a snowball hits her face. Book tells Liy that the fight is far from over but Marker steps into the fray, desperately pleading for everyone to stop. His efforts are in vain, however, as the arrival of Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again only fuels the escalating chaos.
Amid the chaos, Pin turns to Fanny, asking about the location of the flag. This reminder prompts all three teams to refocus on their primary objective: finding the flag. Bottle quickly rallies her team to search through the snow, but Snowball, agitated, orders his team to stop them. Without hesitation, Snowball dives into the snow, pulling Liy back to the surface and halting her efforts. Similarly, Price Tag follows suit, dragging Pen out of the snow to prevent further searching.
As Fanny frantically sifts through the snow, she grows increasingly impatient, repeatedly questioning where the flag could be. Suddenly, a hand emerges from the snow, clutching the flag. Pin immediately asks if Fanny found it, but Marker quickly points out that it can't be her, as Fanny doesn’t have arms. Moments later, Fanny herself appears from the snow, voicing her frustration with whoever the hand belongs to. Tennis Ball wonders aloud if it might be Bottle’s hand and starts looking for her, but Ice Cube confirms it isn’t Bottle either.
The mystery is soon resolved as the hand is revealed to belong to Grassy, who triumphantly secures immunity for Team 2. Snowball, seeing the turn of events, shifts his tone and enthusiastically congratulates Grassy for the heroic effort. As the dust settles, Two appears to officially declare Team 2’s victory. Wasting no time, they teleport all the contestants out of the pit and redirect everyone's focus to the volcano, reminding them that the flag at its summit remains unclaimed.
The group immediately notices that CloudYAY has gained a significant head start, making the prospect of catching up seem nearly impossible. Frustrations begin to bubble over as the contestants air their grievances about various CloudYAY members. Book expresses annoyance with Pencil’s antics, Price Tag criticizes Pillow's relentless killing sprees, and Ice Cube takes issue with Yellow Face’s habit of stealing limbs. Marker tries to find fault with Winner and Donut but struggles to think of anything. Fanny admits they’re tolerable but adds her own complaint about Golf Ball’s overbearing bossiness.
Amid the chorus of complaints, Liy proposes a solution: since everyone wants CloudYAY to lose, they should form a temporary alliance to sabotage them. Grassy supports the idea and gives Snowball a push. Rolling through the snow, Snowball begins to grow larger as he accumulates more snow with each rotation. Seizing the opportunity, the teams quickly climb aboard the expanding Snowball, riding on his enormous size as he barrels forward. Their plan builds momentum—literally—until Snowball’s massive form plunges off a cliff.
While the chaos unfolds elsewhere, Winner continues their struggle to navigate out of the volcano. They stumble upon an igneous rock, noticing a web of cracks across its surface. Determined, Winner punches the rock repeatedly until it shatters, allowing them to emerge from the volcano. However, to their dismay, they find themselves still far from the flag’s location. Resolute, Winner dives back into the lava, swimming upwards with renewed determination.
Meanwhile, back at the kitchen in the hotel, Gaty is seen diligently washing a pile of dishes. As she finishes and walks away, a drawing of One on the fridge suddenly opens its eyes, silently watching Gaty's departure. After a few moments, the eyes close again, returning the drawing to its lifeless state.
Concurrently, as the massive snowball crashes to the ground, its impact is catastrophic, killing the majority of the contestants instantly. The only survivors are Book, Bottle, Fanny, Ice Cube, Pen, Pin, and TV. Snowball, reduced to just his face, dies as his enormous size diminishes.
Fanny immediately rushes to Two, who is standing idly by the recovery center, and demands that they recover all the fallen contestants. Two obliges without hesitation as they bring everyone back. However, in the process, they also recover CloudYAY members Donut, Pencil, and Pillow. Snowball, now revived, vows to stop CloudYAY, but Pencil retaliates by strangling him.
Fanny, furious at Two for reviving CloudYAY, openly expresses her hatred for them, but her protests are too late to matter. Pencil escalates the chaos by ripping Snowball's face off and hurling it at Marker, using it to choke him to death. Tree, deeply disturbed by Pencil's actions, retaliates by slapping her repeatedly. The confrontation intensifies until Black Hole intervenes, using his gravity to fling Pencil away.
Amid the chaos, Pillow quietly drags Marker’s lifeless body away, re-purposing it to kill Grassy in a sudden attack. In retaliation, Book traps Pillow within her pages, killing her. However, Donut promptly recovers Pillow, who re-emerges from the recovery center. Almost immediately, she spots Price Tag in the crowd. Price Tag, anticipating Pillow’s violent intent, tries to flee, but Pillow catches up and viciously tears them in half.
In the ensuing pandemonium, Liy notices Golf Ball and Yellow Face sprinting toward the volcano. She quickly alerts her team, prompting Tennis Ball to rally everyone. The group hastily climbs onto TV, who speeds off in pursuit of the duo.
The scene briefly shifts to Winner, who is still navigating the volcano’s treacherous interior. It then transitions back to Golf Ball and Yellow Face as they near the volcano. Realizing that is close behind, Golf Ball abruptly veers off in a different direction. She begins constructing something mysterious, while Yellow Face continues onward, with relentlessly chasing him into the volcano.
By the time arrives, Yellow Face has already crossed to the other side of the bridge spanning the volcano's chasm. As the group begin to cross, Yellow Face starts violently shaking the bridge as an attempt to destabilize them. Despite Basketball's demands for him to stop, he persists, increasing the intensity of the shaking. The bridge sways dangerously, and chaos ensues as Tennis Ball accidentally bumps into Liy. Both lose their balance and plummet into the lava below.
Enraged by the sabotage, TV speeds across the bridge and runs over Yellow Face, giving Basketball, Bottle, and Pen the chance to safely cross. Yellow Face watches anxiously as they continue their ascent toward the summit of the volcano, worried about their potential victory. Desperate, he quickly pulls out his phone and calls Lewis, declaring his readiness to buy back the FreeSmart van and requesting an immediate delivery to the volcano. As the call ends, Yellow Face lets out an anguished scream, lamenting the monumental cost and the loss of all his life savings.
Golf Ball finishes constructing her invention, revealing it to be a zap shooter. The scene shifts to Pillow attempting to shatter Ice Cube using Pin's point, but Ice Cube swiftly evades the attack. Seizing the opportunity, Ice Cube promptly recovers Snowball, who hurls the recovery center at Pillow. Instead of dodging, Pillow stands idly and is torn apart by the impact. Pencil quickly recovers Pillow and confidently declares that Snowball can't stop them, claiming she could continue this all day.
Before the battle can escalate, however, the fearsome plant from earlier re-appears, unleashing chaos. It crushes Pencil effortlessly before stomping on Marker and Fanny. Pin, Robot Flower, and Tree attempt to flee, but they all get devoured by the plant. Pillow confronts the plant and wraps herself around it as an attempt to suffocate it. Two, horrified by the destruction, quickly teleports away from the scene.
Amid the chaos, Grassy redirects Snowball's attention to the volcano, and the two break away from the others to sabotage CloudYAY's chances of victory. Confused but resolute, Book, Ice Cube, and Price Tag follow them in pursuit. Meanwhile, Pillow continues to struggle with the plant, attempting to suffocate it. Black Hole warns Pillow not to kill it, but the plant retaliates by ripping Pillow apart before hopping away, leaving a trail of destruction. As the plant departs, Black Hole quickly follows, determined to prevent it from causing any more harm.
As make their way through the volcano, they encounter a massive chasm. Suddenly, the fearsome lava monster emerges from the molten depths and kills Basketball with ease. Thinking quickly, Pen picks up Bottle, and he apologizes to her before smashing her onto the ground, killing her. TV then deflects the shards from Bottle’s body into the lava monster’s mouth, causing it to choke and retreat, ending the immediate threat. TV briefly mourns Bottle's loss, but Pen urges him to press on, reminding TV that they still have a chance to claim the flag.
Meanwhile, Yellow Face watches as Pen and TV continue their ascent up the volcano, feeling a pang of doubt. He had thought his team had a shot at claiming the flag, and his confidence falters. Just then, Team 2 tramples over him, reigniting his resolve. Realizing it’s not over yet, Yellow Face steels himself. Moments later, Golf Ball arrives with the zap shooter. Using Yellow Face as a springboard, Golf Ball launches herself into the air, zapping every member of Team 2 with pinpoint accuracy, eliminating them one by one.
Yellow Face, desperate to prevent Pen and TV from claiming the flag, quickly points Golf Ball toward them as they draw closer to their goal. Using the same strategy, Golf Ball readies her zap shooter, preparing to eliminate them one by one. However, just as she locks onto Pen as her first target, the massive plant suddenly appears. The plant quickly squashes Yellow Face and devours Golf Ball in an instant, bringing an abrupt end to their efforts to stop .
Moments later, Black Hole arrives on the scene. He solemnly surveys the aftermath and apologizes for not being there in time to prevent the deaths of Yellow Face and Golf Ball. With a heavy heart, he absorbs their corpses, leaving the area quietly, his presence a somber reminder of the chaos and loss unfolding around them.
At the top of the volcano, Winner is mere inches away from grasping the flag when Pen and TV arrive. Pen quickly holds Winner back, trying to prevent them from claiming victory, while TV makes a dash for the flag. Just then, the massive plant arrives and devours Pen in an instant. The plant spits out Pen's cap, which flies through the air.
As TV approaches the flag, the cap strikes his screen, shattering it. Disoriented and momentarily stunned, TV loses his balance and stumbles, unable to regain his footing. With a final, tragic misstep, TV plummets to his death, leaving Winner alone at the top of the volcano, the flag still within their reach.
With Pen and TV dealt with, Winner finally reaches for the flag, only to be picked up by the massive plant. Winner, irritated that the flag is so close yet out of reach, struggles as the plant roars at them and prepares to tear them in half. Just as the plant is about to strike, however, the FreeSmart Supervan suddenly appears, running over the plant and causing it to release Winner.
The plant tumbles down the volcano, defeated, and with no opposition left, Winner seizes the opportunity and grabs the flag, securing immunity for CloudYAY. Two announces CloudYAY's victory but quickly realizes that the majority of the contestants are now dead. Black Hole arrives at the scene, and Lewis steps out of the van, holding the keys to the Supervan. He hands the keys to Winner with a wink. Winner, still confused, thanks Lewis, who then turns to leave.
Two, puzzled, asks who Lewis is, but as Lewis walks away, he stumbles and falls down the rest of the volcano. Two and Winner watch in unease as Lewis falls to what seems to be his (presumed) death.
Stinger[]
Flashback[]
The stinger flashes back to the debut ceremony in the last episode. Four says that it is game over for 8-Ball, Match, and Roboty. Match insists that her rainbow hair should've given her 1 billion bonus votes, however her hair is stuck by lightning and is set on fire. Four zaps Match, along with 8-Ball and Roboty, away into the storm.
After the storm[]
Match is laying down on green grass as she slowly opens her eyes and questions where she is. The camera pans out to a view of the Pillary Ruins. Match walks through her surroundings and enters the Archaic Temple. She notes how it looks gross. She then walks back out of the Archaic Temple and sees Bubble and Ruby jumping in puddles, with two umbrellas laying nearby due to the storm. The episode ends on a cliffhanger.

- Pencil rapidly kicking the drill's buttons with her feet is similar to how she repeatedly kicked Coiny in "Lots of Mud".
- The "dun dun dun" violin notes from "Crybaby!" are heard when the danger signs are shown.
- Winner says "Aw phooey" after their team falls into the lava, just like Naily does when she gets pushed into the ground by a stack of blocks in "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters".
- TV's slideshow is extremely similar to his explanation of Davids last episode.
- Pillow ripping Price Tag apart is a callback to "Outbreak At Stake".
- Pencil's scream when she burns in the lava monster's mouth is recycled from "Vomitaco".
- Later, when Pencil gets eaten by the lava monster, she re-uses Flower's scream from "Don't Pierce My Flesh".
- When Winner is swimming in the magma, it looks slightly similar to in “Getting Teardrop To Talk”.
- Liy shows her other switch from "Fortunate Ben" before preparing to fight Snowball.
- Fanny calls Golf Ball a bossybot.
- Price Tag, Grassy, Basketball, and Liy are made into a mutilated body pile after getting run over by Snowball.
- Yellow Face pukes on his phone to express reluctance, possibly referencing Pin puking on Woody in Take The Plunge.
- At 25:12, the Twinkle sound from "Four Goes Too Far" is heard.
- Golf Ball and Pencil rapidly slap each other the same way Shield and Air Fryer do in "Spore Day".
- A clip is shown from Category One to start the stinger.
- The scene of chasing Golf Ball and Yellow Face is similar to the shot of the contestants running in "PointyPointyPointy ♫".
- Lewis winking at Winner when he hands them the keys to the FreeSmart Supervan is a reference to Yellow Face winking at his team in "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?".
- The Pillary Ruins from BFB makes an appearance again.
Cultural references[]
- The second teaser image shows a crochet plush of the Chomper from the Plants vs. Zombies game franchise.
- The Freesmart application poster, with it having the phrase "Freesmart wants YOU!" may reference the "Lord Kitchener Wants You" posters used to recruit British soldiers to fight during World War 1.
- The case of Pen's phone features a face with a design similar to the logo for the grunge band Nirvana.
- Pin dancing with Robot Flower and repeatedly saying “We Did It” is a reference to “We did it” celebration song from a children's television series, Dora the Explorer.
- During the scene where Book and Price Tag rummage through the food storage in the cabin, Price Tag holds up a fruit similar to that used for the logo of FL Studio.
- When Team 2 and fight just before causing Firey Jr. to burn a hole in the cabin floor, TV's screen displays stick figures fighting, a reference to the popular internet culture of web animations that featured stick figures brawling, notably Stickpage or Hyun's Dojo.
- At 18:58, Grassy is seen playing Pong against TV inside the barricade.
- A fidget spinner and ring pop are seen lying on the ground at 0:25.
- Income Tax Return Document says "womp womp," sarcastically mimicking the Losing Horn trope.
- A low-pitched "boowomp" sound effect from SpongeBob SquarePants can be heard when Planty lowers its head while falling asleep.
- This sound effect was previously used for Death P.A.C.T. Again's funny plant when it droops in "Gardening Zero", albeit in its normal pitch.
- Various things seen throughout the episode appear to take cues from the Super Mario franchise:
- The idea of two mountains being made of ice and fire may take inspiration from either the Freezeflame or Shiverburn Galaxies from Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, as both levels are mixtures between fire and ice environments (similar to the mountains seen in the episode).
- The carnivorous plant bears a striking resemblance to the Piranha Plant, a reoccurring foe in the series.
- An enemy that looks and acts like the Angry Sun from Super Mario Bros. 3 is seen in the obstacle course.
- The lava monster that resides on the volcano appears to be based on the Blargg, specifically its appearance outside of the Yoshi spinoffs.
- The ice slide located under the cabin may take inspiration from the slide subarea located on Cool, Cool Mountain from Super Mario 64, which, coincidentally enough, is also accessed via a cabin.
- The scene where Team 2 and they go through the slide of the hole could be a reference to the Zooble Hole from The Amazing Digital Circus.
- When Tennis Ball suggests and Team 2 die and get recovered to escape the cabin, he says "die" in a somewhat similar inflection to Ganondorf in the Zelda CDi games.
- Similar to what happened in “Category One”, a couple of sound effects are once again borrowed from “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”.
Goofs[]
- At 0:09, Pen had 3 arms for a few frames.
- At 5:06, Pen's right leg is cut off.
- Golf Ball at one point uses she/her pronouns to refer to Eraser, who has always gone by he/him. An animator said that this was simply an error in the script.[3]
- Fries' voice is pitched as it was in BFDIA, when it was deeper in the previous episodes.
- This episode reveals that Winner is lava-proof, which is erroneous since they succumbed to lava in "Fishes and Dishes". However, this is likely a retcon, or they were somehow prepared for it.
- In multiple instances, Bottle is shown broken before the scene when Snowball broke her, and intact after the scene.
- Donut explodes due to the heat of the lava in this episode, however, he just burns in "Don't Dig Straight Down" without showing any signs of explosions or implosions.
- This may be due to how Donut in "Don't Dig Straight Down" burned quicker by being in contact with the lava, instead of being isolated in an overheated metal space.
- Golf Ball is shown to die in the lava, but is not shown being recovered by Two when they recover everyone. However, Golf Ball is shown alive.
- At 14:23, for 2 frames, Pillow's left leg is detached from her body.
- At 14:24, for 1 frame, both of Yellow Face's legs are detached from his body.
- Match isn't credited in the voice actor credits, despite speaking in the episode.
- However, this is forgivable as she only appears in the stinger.
- From 12:00 to 12:11 of the episode, the audio is slightly off sync from the animation.
- When Pencil stops Snowball to walk, her arms aren't aligned.
- Gaty is missing her puncture wounds at 1:33.
- Gelatin's Steakhouse is still intact, despite being blown away by the wind in “Category One”.
- Though, this may be because of everything dropping back into place by Black Hole in the episode before this, due to every prop falling down, which may have included the steakhouse offscreen.
