The Verron Mystics, also known as the "Order of the Verron Mystics" and Verrons, are an ancient sect of extraterrestrial mages with mystical magic powers and titular minor characters in the episode "Antauri's Masters" of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!.
History[]
Many centuries ago, at an unknown point in the distant past, this spiritual organization was formed on the group's home planet Kurala-Dall, the "Jewel World" somewhere at the farther reaches of the galaxy and practiced mysticism which later lead to their understanding and mastery of the mysterious Power Primate, a force for good. During that time, they band together and used their powers to banish the malevolent Dark Ones to the Netherworld which is the cosmic fiends' place of origin, in order to stop their dreaded invasion upon all worlds.
Antauri, who once gained the Verron Mystics' teachings to be attuned with the spiritual and learned the might Power Primate years ago, recently sense a great disturbance in the Power Primate and informed his fellow Robot Monkeys and their Shuggazoomian teammate Chiro that he must convey with the Verron Mystics in order to confirm what is happening, though the worried Chiro could never leave him alone on this journey.
Upon meeting with the Verron Mystics' leader Master Zan at their Temple on Planet Karura-Dall, "Brother" Antauri learns a frightening revelation that all of nature is in grave danger due to the growing prophesized return of the Dark Ones. Which shocked Antauri more even worse, instead of finding a way to combat the Dark Ones, Master Zan and the Verron Mystics chose to serve the Dark Ones upon the deluded alien cabal's "realization" of the cosmic fiends' frightening power with no chance of defying them at all. To make matters worse, this betrayal is even presented by the order's decision to bow down before the Dark Ones' "divine" emissary who is revealed to be the Super Robot Monkey Team's worse enemy, the Skeleton King himself.
After the Super Robot Monkey Team's battle with the treasonous Master Zan in his true form which reveals him and the rest of the Verrons to an obscure race of dark skeletal beings of pure magical energy hidden beneath their signature white clerical hooded robes, they escaped from a feiry explosion of mystical energy at the now destroyed Verron Temple and soon raced back to the planet Shuggazoom to stop the Skeleton King's final Formless invasion while the time and power of the Verron Mystics has come to an end.
