~ Scrapperton's verbal tic. |
Scrapperton, real name Duke Scrapperton is a supporting antagonist in the cartoon series Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!.
He was first voiced by Monty Python veteran Eric Idle, who also portrayed Paul "Dibs" Plutzker in Casper and the Pied Piper of Hamelin in Fairy Tale Theatre, and later by Jeff Bennett, who also voiced the Joker in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Biography[]
He was a Grand Earl and possibly creator of the Mecha Realm. Once a mortal man that "upgraded" (actually "replaced") every part of his body with a mechanical version. Scrapperton is a kindly-seeming robo-man even though he works for Skeleton King. In his first appearance he is implied to of been corrupted the Skeleton King through some strage gear staff though it's possible he worked with him before hand. Either way Scrapperton attempts to defeat the Monkeys and steal their gadgets to upgrade himself even more.
In his second appearence he brainwashes some mechanical apes that worship the monkeys so they let their guards down and he can fulfill his masters wish to eliminate the heroes. Once he believes the moment is right he mind controls the apes only to ultimately be thwarted once the device controlling them is disabled. After this Scrapperton is captured and pleads for mercy as he doesn't want to face his master now that he's failed him again.
Personality[]
He at first appears to be polite and a gentleman but in truth he's a corrupt man obsessed with collecting a variety of objects though most of it appears to be what a majority would consider junk. He also values his life above all else to the point he ended up replacing a majority of his organic body with robotics; to where he's only a brain in an attempt to escape death. He also isn't above begging for mercy when he's in danger to ensure his own survival.
