Stormtrooper Buford is a (former) supporting antagonist in the Phineas and Ferb special "Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars". He, along with Candace and Baljeet, are a team of low-ranked stormtroopers who seek to earn the respect of the Galactic Empire by finding the plans of the Death Star.
Just like his original counterpart, he was voiced by Bobby Gaylor.
History[]
Alongside Candace and Baljeet, Buford joined the Empire to assist in busting Phineas and Ferb, who are working for the Rebellion. However, just like Candace and Baljeet, he is very upset of the fact that their commander is forcing them to do errands (such as buying socks for Darth Vader) instead of letting them doing their actual job as Stormtroopers. He is even more disgusted that their commander is forcing them to take a dirty bus pod as he will not let them board in his shuttle back to the Death Star. He also finds out in horror in that he accidentally gave their commander his bag containing a hoagie when he asked for the socks instead, resulting the commander to be executed by a furious Vader for his incompetence.
Eventually, Buford defects from the Empire along with Candace and Baljeet after realizing that the Death Star has destroyed the planet Alderaan. They would escape along with Phineas and Ferb before the Death Star was destroyed and joined in the Rebel celebration of their victory against the Empire.
Trivia[]
- Stormtrooper Buford is the second alternate reality Buford that started out as a villain, the first one being Giant Buford.
- Ironically, the seventh Star Wars film features a Stormtrooper who also abandons his allegiance to the Empire.
