Nanai Miguel is a Neo Zeon officer who acts as an advisor to Char Aznable and a major antagonist in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.
She is voiced by Yoshiko Sakakibara in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Jenn Forgie in the English version of the anime.
History[]
Nanai Miguel was one of the prominent figures in the reborn Neo Zeon movement, spearheaded by Char Aznable. She was placed in charge of Neo Zeon's Newtype Labs and also served as something of a tactical advisor to Char. The two also displayed a romantic relationship, though it was speculated by Gyunei Guss that Char only went out with Nanai as part of his role as the leader of Neo Zeon.
Nanai was entrusted by Char to coordinate the dropping of the asteroid Fifth Luna. She later questions Char as to whether his whole plan is just an excuse to settle his score with Amuro Ray. She also shows some displeasure when she sees Char taking a perceived interest in Quess Paraya.
After Char seemingly perishes in his final battle with Amuro Ray, Nanai Miguel can be seen weeping for him.
