The Mirror Banki is the minor antagonist of Engine Sentai Go-Onger appearing in Episode 10 as the primary antagonist. He is the mirror themed Barbaric Machine Beast at the service of Banki Clan Gaiark, and under the command of all three Pollution Ministers Yogostein, Kitaneidas and Kegalesia. He was created from the remains of the deceased Lens Banki and tends to say "mirror" in his sentences. Since the pictures of Lens Banki took before being destroyed, Mirror Banki possessed the ability to use the mirror on his chest to duplicate the Engines' attacks with his "Mirror Effect. He was then sent by the ministers to attack Tokyo and destroy the Go-Ongers.
He was voiced by Junpei Morita.
Biography[]
After the defeat of Lens Banki, at Hellgailles Palace the pollution ministers created this Barbaric Machine Beast. Thanks to the images Lens Banki took before he was destroyed by Engine-Oh and GunBir-Oh, the Pollution Ministers collaborated to create a special Savage Machine Beast that could duplicate the Engines' special attacks: Kagami Banki. He was then sent by the ministers to attack Tokyo and destroy the Go-Ongers.
The Banki monster attacked Tokyo and encountered the Go-Ongers. Then the villain used the Industrial Revolution and enlarged himself. Once the Industrial Revolutionized Kagami Banki went on the attack, the Go-ongers formed Engine-Oh and GunBir-Oh to fight him, but the Savage Machine Beast used his "Mirror Effect" power to copy GunBir-Oh's attacks and defeated it before creating his own Go-on Sword to take out Engine-Oh. All seemed hopeless until Kagami Banki ran out of Bikkurium and was forced to retreat.
The Go-Ongers returned to their Ginjiro-go and Renn revealed that he was aware that Gaiark would pull off such a stunt and that he has been creating a new formation that would combine all six Engines together into one to counter such a situation. Renn enlisted Gunpei and Hant's help in finishing the modifications to Birca, Gunpherd, and Carrigator. Since Mirror Banki was taking a long time to be recharged with Bikkurium, the bored Pollution Ministers sent a massive armada of Barbaric Dohma to attack the city. Renn gave Sōsuke Bus-on to help him, Speedor, Saki and Bearrv fought the Barbaric Dohmas as Renn and the others completed the modifications. After the Barbaric Dohmas were defeated and scrapped, Kagami Banki arrived with the Engines' five minutes, assuming his true "Land/Sky/Sea Special" form and overpowered Engine-Oh. Once the other Engines finally arrive, they assembled and formed Engine-Oh G6, who overpowered and scrapped Mirror Banki.
