The Pot Banki is the minor antagonist of Engine Sentai Go-Onger, appearing in Episode 14 as the primary antagonist. He is a bath heater themed Savage Water Barbaric Machine Beast under the command of Kegalesia. He possessed the ability to use pink mist from his nostrils and teleport people into the hotsprings illusion on his head where their cares are steamed away. By using this ability he kidnapped people in Tokyo and helped Kegalesia with her plan to defeat and eliminate the Go-Ongers and take over the city. Kegalesia planned to conquer Tokyo by having her monster trap all of the Go-Ongers and people in the city inside Pot Banki's hot spring illusion. He also says Come On' in his sentences.
He was voiced by Tamio Ōki.
Biography[]
Pot Banki attacked Tokyo and when Hant was walking in the city after the whole night of working, the Go-On Green crossed paths with Kama Banki. The Banki beast used his ability and captured Hant and many other people in the city by trapping them in the hot spring illusion on his head. The other Go-Ongers arrived to fight the Savage Machine Beast until they learned of Hant's fate as Kegalesia arrived and ordered her monster to take the other Go-ongers into his spring illusion to get them out of the way. The Banki Monster attacked Go-Ongers with his steam and they prepared to fight him. However, Sosuke accidentally deflected the steam at a martial artist named Mantan Fujio. Mantan got hit by Kama Banki's steam and was teleported to the hot spring. However, the elderly martial artist possessed a great willpower and, by using his scream, he dispelled the hot spring illusion to Kegalesia's shock as she and her lacky retreated when the Go-ongers use a High Buster/Cowl Laser combo on them.
While Hant and Sosuke were taken as a student by Fujio in his martial arts Natural Fighting School, where Hant was failing Fujio tasks and was handled the martial arts training horribly, Kegalesia refused to accept her defeat by ordinary human and disguised as Rena Kegareshi in order to infiltrate Fujio school and learn martial arts from his in order to perfect her monster. Hant fell in love with Kegalesia, and no one of then know about each other's identity. Later the three Go-Ongers arrived to the school to see their friend's training and were ambushed by the Pot Banki. By using the training he learned from Kegalesia, the Kama Banki trapped the Go-Ongers in the hot spring illusion in his head.
Later, Sosuke learned about this and took Hant with him, before the young man could properly admit his feelings. Kegalesia thrn discarded her disguise, once realizing who Hant is to sick Kama Banki on the two. Later Hant encountered the Kama Baki and was sucked by the monster, but by using his love to Rena, Hant broke free from the illusion and freed his friends. Taking center, Go-on Green battled Kama Banki single-handedly, using the Super Highway Buster on his own to take the Savage Machine Beast out. When Kama Banki used the Industrial Revolution and grew giant, Hant set the Engine Souls in the wrong Casts, piloting "Speedor"-Birca as the mixed-Engines combined into Engine-Oh G6 and scrapped Kama Banki.
