Johnny Sindacco is a minor antagonist in the 2004 video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the seventh installment of the Grand Theft Auto video game series.
He was voiced by Casey Siemaszko, who also played 3-D in Back to the Future, Billy Tessio in Stand By Me, and Curley in the 1992 Of Mice and Men adaptation.
Biography[]
In 1992, he negotiated with Salvatore Leone the conditions for running the casino Caligula Palace in Las Venturas, Salvatore agreed to give his mafia five million dollars to invest in the casino, which began to lead together with the Forellis. In exchange for money, he demanded a neutral person who would control this business. Salvatore and Johnny chose Ken Rosenberg.
He was later caught trying to destroy the delivery of the competitive casino Four Dragons. Then Carl Johnson told him to tie him to the car bonnet, and then began to question him. After this incident, Johnny was hospitalized. The Forrelis wanted to use this situation to kill him, but they failed because CJ steals the ambulance on behalf of Ken Rosenberg and puts Johnny in the butcher's shop.
Later, Ken and Carl went to visit the butcher's shop. Johnny, who was moving in a wheelchair at the sight of CJ, died of a heart attack, triggering the Sindaccos to attack.
Trivia[]
- Johnny Sindacco is one of the few characters in the entire series to die of natural causes, another being Jon Gravelli, who dies of old age.
- Johnny looks very similar to Christopher Moltisanti, Tony Soprano's nephew, from The Sopranos. It's possible that Johnny was intentionally modeled to look like him.
