Durango Black is the main antagonist of the music video for the song "Roundtable Rival" by Lindsey Stirling. He is an outlaw whose gang terrorizes a small town in the Wild West.
Biography[]
Durango Black rode into town with two of his henchmen intent on robbing the town bank. He used his guitar to blow away the town sheriff and his deputy when they tried to stop him. However, a violinist at a nearby tavern heard what was happening and went to intervene. Black attempted to take her out as well, but the violinist was able to counteract the soundwaves from Black's guitar with the soundwaves from the music of her violin, knocking back Black and his henchmen and forcing them to flee the town.
Black later saw a newspaper that had an article about his defeat and was furious to see the violinist and her backup dancers on the front page. Deciding to get revenge, Durango Black returned to town with a carriage with a tarp over it. After he and his henchmen put on earmuffs, Black pulled off the tarp to unveil a set of subwoofers, which he used to amplify the sound of his guitar to defeat the violinist. With the violinist and her dancers incapacitated by the soundwaves coming from the subwoofer, Black tosses off their earmuffs and goes to rob the bank while his henchmen stand guard outside. However, the violinist was able to grab one set of earmuffs and put it on, enabling her to turn off the subwoofer. Black's henchmen attempted to stop her, but the violinist and her backup dancers were able to fight them off before snatching their earmuffs.
Black then exited the bank, only to be faced by the violinist, who turned Black's subwoofer against him and used it to broadcast the soundwaves of her violin at them, defeating Black and allowing the sheriff and his deputy to arrest Black and his gang.
