Desperado is a creature created by Arch Priest Gajah from the contents of Pandora's Box to be his right hand and a major antagonist in the final three episodes of GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
It is voiced by Katsumi Shiono.
Biography[]
Desperado was created by Arch Priest Gajah after he absorbed the contents of Pandora's Box and used them to create a new monster to act as his enforcer. It was named by Gajah after the last element to leave Pandora's Box, "despair". Gajah tasked Desperado with aiding him in obtaining the Heart of Gordom and the Brain of Gordom from SGS. Although Gajah was able to obtain the Heart of Gordom from the wreckage of the Precious Bank, the Brain of Gordom lay in a separate location, and thus Gajah sent Desperado to search for it while he entered a cocoon with the Heart of Gordom.
Desperado attempted to obtain the Brain of Gordom while Sakura was moving it, but the other Boukengers (minus Akashi) showed up to stop it. Desperado was destroyed by the Boukengers repeatedly firing the Dual Crusher at it, only to grow giant upon its defeat. Akashi then arrived piloting GoGo Voyager with the other GoGo Vehicles, which the rest of the Boukengers entered and used to destroy Desperado for good.
Personality[]
Desperado is a ruthless, cunning, destructive and violent creature, who will stop at nothing to destroy the Boukengers and bring Gajah the Brain of Gordom. He was shown to be violent, cold, relentless and chaotic and enjoyed causing havoc in Tokyo and trying to kill the Boukengers. However, despite his chaotic nature, he was shown to be loyal to Gajah. However, Desperado was actually programmed to serve Gajah and acted as a robot. Desperado showed no emotions in battle, and acted as a machine. He also never talked and only spoke in grunts and roars.
Powers and Abilities[]
Desperado is the most powerful of all Gajah's Gordom minions and possesses multiple supernatural powers and abilities.
Here's the list of Gajah's abilities.
- Superhuman Strength: Desperado is quite powerful, being able to overpower and throw all Boukengers like a ragdolls and fight all Boukenger Mechas.
- Superhuman Durability: Desperado is also extremely durable and can withstand multiple hits and attacks from the Boukengers and their robots. It took all power of Boukenger Robos to take down him.
- Superhuman Stamina: Desperado posseses an infinite stamina and can hold his own in battle for the extreme amount of time.
- Skilled Fighter: He is also an extremely capable fighter, and able to fight the most powerful Robos of Boukengers.
- Energy Projection: Just like nearly all other monsters in Sentai series, Desperado can project energy attacks to attack his enemies.
- Enlarging: Desperado can enlarge himself by using Gordom energy.
