~ One of the robbers after the other shoots Kevin. |
The competent robbers are minor characters of the Adult Animated sitcom Family Guy episode "Christmas Guy", specifically the main villain protagonists of the in-universe "Home Alone with Competent Robbers" TV show gag.
They are parodies of the original Harry and Marv from Home Alone who are far more competent and succeed in their goals.
They are voiced by Alec Sulkin and Danny Smith respectively.
Biography[]
Their show comes on when Peter, Chris, Meg, Stewie and Vinny Griffin are in the living room together.
Like their original counterparts, they break into the young Kevin McCallister's house to rob it, however when none of Kevin's traps work (e.g. the burning door knob and others), as Kevin is upstairs and taunts them with his tarantula, they shoot the boy and with no witnesses, they presumably get away with their crimes.
Trivia[]
- Humorously, some viewers have pointed out that the burglars still touched items in the house like the doorknob without gloves, meaning there’s a good chance that they will be caught using fingerprints and would suffer a worse sentence due to killing a kid.
