Jeff McKenzie simply known as Jeff is one of the two main antagonists of the 2021 Disney+ live-action Christmas film, Home Sweet Home Alone alongside his wife Pam. Which is also the sixth installment of the Home Alone franchise.

He is the husband of Pam and partner and the brother of Hunter. He is a tall height man who plotted to commit a felony of the Mercer’s house to retrieve his mother’s broken doll and the jacket from Max Mercer whom is also his former arch-rival/turned relative.

He was voiced by Rob Delaney.

Biography[]

They were interviewed at the beginning of the film from Gavin. Later has met Max Mercer whom references him as Frankenstein from his tall height and has planned to break into the Mercer’s house as him and his wife Pam has planned the mission and they met one of the Mercer relatives at the Christmas festival. At the house he discovers a Santa fragile figure and suddenly doesn’t remember seeing it at all.

When he and Pam drive, Jeff tells her that he’s watched an episode of Locked up on demand and refuses to go to jail, when they walk to the house the lighters appear as they both freeze so they won’t be trespassed he picks up the key to unlock the door until the alarm goes on but just until he uses the password for the alarm code. When Max tells the Homebot to call the police with the duo believing there is a German woman in the house making him fleeing and runs into a snowman when the officer Buzz steps out of the car and greets him with Pam. Once Max knocks on the window trying to get Buzz’s attention Jeff suddenly notices him but the latter fails and they both drive off.

Jeff and Pam went to the church and while interacted with Gavin whom arrived at the church, once until they find out the grandma is the German and get back in the car and drive back to the Mercer’s house from being outsmarted for their latest plan. Once they have made it back to the house, they sneak above by the bushes while Pam makes a way by using Jeff on her shoulders to climb up the wall but accidentally farts and makes Pam retch unamused and climbs back on the wall. Suddenly, Pam accidentally slides Jeff’s pants down making her fall when he gives Pam her hand but ultimately falls down from the wall but accidentally kicks her and actually makes it but for a while breaks a Christmas playhouse from standing on to long and once they get in the house. Although, They realize that they went through the wrong house and leave but right for a moment, they realize they were walking right into a pool all covered in snow and they both attend to free out after they do both slips on stairs right towards a gate but refuses to give up. Once Jeff and Pam encounter with Hunter and his family by seeing they are all freezing and soaking wet by saying they went into a splash. Later on, Jeff and Pam are spending at Hunter’s house for Christmas dinner while Mei sings.

After Max has created the traps, Jeff drives back to the Mercer house while Pam asks him to slow down as he tries but while attempting to hit the breaks, Jeff accidentally crashes into a light making the airbag hit them and shocked once the Santa Claus figure falls on their car. While Jeff in his Santa Claus uniform and Pam in her cat beanie uniform preparing to break into the house but before both slip on the concrete and overdoes the attempt walks but until they see the lights making them collapse everywhere making him hit a light post. Later on, He reads a Santa note and eats one of the cookies and pretending he’s the real Santa but feels the cookies and milk have a bad taste and runs into the snow, when Jeff enters the house he hears the alarm sound and uses the code but painfully pokes on a sharp nail and groans in pain until Max realizes him and believes he is Santa and quickly puts on his beard and uses the voice for Santa but discovers he isn’t real and shoots a ball at his head making him collapse to the floor and while he has the VR Set on him he is confused that he in a gorge and is terrifying to fall unaware he is in a game and attempts to jump down but alternately jumps on to a shelf making him fall with all the objects on the shelf collapse on him and is still possessed in the VR and gets the door slammed beneath his head until Pam is able to open the door and take the VR goggles off and sees he has a big bruise bump on his head once they try to convince him, Jeff gets two milk bottles hit at his face from the rope and gets knocked in the crouch with a bag of flour and falls down the stairs on his knees when he hangs onto the stair handles he falls again and fails to reach him, when Jeff makes it upstairs he gets knocked in the air with Pam on the yoga ball and once Jeff gets up he cracks his head in furious once he is about to go to Max but Jeff ultimately blocks the eight-ball and tells him there is nowhere he can run. However, Max falls down from the balcony and tells his wife but sees him where Max tells him there is a ladder, Jeff chuckles by Max falsely warning him that a ladder is not safe but isn’t dumbfounded and climbs down the balcony making the trampoline bend over making him bounce to a tree making him lose a tooth while a Max causes sharp ice coming above him by making him trip over and yells out no when the sharp ice comes near his crouch but indirectly misses and is shocked when Pam falls on the floor while Max confronts they tried to sell him with an old lady as they realizes what they done and gathers up to hug him but right until the chamber falls on to them on accident from Pam trying to use the rope.

Back at Hunter’s house, Jeff and Pam bring Max to the house for a while until his family arrives from Tokyo. Fortunately, it was revealed Ollie has found the doll that Jeff was looking for that Max did not have it, but Ollie suddenly throws the doll making Jeff miss the catch making him fall from the stairs. Eventually, Max catches the doll and appreciate him. When Max’s mother Carol arrives Max thanks both of Jeff and Pam from apologizing to him from the burglary and spends time with his relatives and decides to open presents. One year later they all gather for Christmas giving, while a middle aged Jeff arrives from work on Christmas Day and gives him an orange soda while all the family have a laughing moment of Christmas and have a wonderful year.

Trivia[]

• Just like Marv Murchins and Vera Murchins in the 4th film, they both share similarities to each other as both husband and wife were or not relatives of the protagonist but turned criminals to break into the house to cause sworn with the kid. Except when Jeff and Pam reformed and became regular relatives towards the kid being left home alone.
• Jeff is so far the only Home Alone villain to be redeemed along with a partner whom is his wife Pam and to not be imprisoned.
• Despite being redeemed from breaking into the Mercer house, Jeff and Pam could still be arrested for burglary as from the chamber falling down in the house in the climax of the film.
• Jeff and Pam’s last name was originally going to be Fritsovski.
