Adulterers are villains who cheat on their significant others. Sexual encounters are not necessary, as simply seeing two people at once counts (unless it's stated they're in an open relationship or follow non-monogamous lifestyles). The new person that the adulterer has a relationship with can also fall under this category if they are aware of what the other adulterer has done. Some of these villains are insecure. Some of them did it to get away from someone who was even eviler than them. But some of them are worse and torture their spouses before moving on to another one and doing it again.

Also, do not add characters who are polyamorous, having multiple lovers is not adultery unless one does so without the knowledge of the other (this remains true even in societies where polyamorous relations are frowned upon).
