Zanbar was a swamp moon in the Outer Rim Territories' Mandalore sector. The Mandalorian Death Watch relocated to Zanbar and established a camp there shortly after leaving Carlac.
Description[]
The moon was covered with stretches of marshy plants and flora that was separated by large, colossal plateaus and mesas.[3]
History[]
In 20 BBY, Darth Maul and Savage Opress allied with the Death Watch. In addition, it was here that Lom Pyke, and his Pyke Syndicate, joined Maul's Shadow Collective.[2] It was at this time that the camp was abandoned when the Sith and the Death Watch conquered Sundari, the capital city of the New Mandalorians on Mandalore from Duchess Satine Kryze.[5] Later on, however, the moon would be the site of a battle between the Confederacy of Independent Systems led by General Grievous and the Shadow Collective led by Darth Maul and his associates, which ultimately resulted in the withdrawal of the latter faction and a brief Separatist occupation.[4]
