"Son, if one hostage is good, two are better, and three, well, that's just good business!"
―Hondo Ohnaka quoting his mother — (audio) Listen (file info)[1]

The mother of the pirate Captain Hondo Ohnaka was a female Weequay. She taught him about taking hostages saying that one was good, two was better, and three was good business.[1] She sold him when he was a child.[2] She never sung him lullabies, as she was too busy teaching him how to pick pockets.[3]
