Behind the scenes[]
The design of this weapon is similar to the YK42B pulse rifle from Fallout 2, and it may be intended to be the same weapon model. In Fallout 2, the pulse rifle filled the same energy weapon progression tier present in Fallout Shelter, with laser weapons being the lowest in this progression, plasma weapons being generally a step above laser, and pulse weapons being the most powerful.
