Light-Fingers Hargrave[Non-game 1] is an unmarked quest in Fallout 3.
Walkthrough[]
If you have the Child at Heart perk, you can convince James Hargrave in Rivet City to steal ammo for you. He will have ammo for you 12 hours after you talk to him for the first time and every 12 hours after.

- Since the ammo he gives you is random, there is a good chance to get such ammo as the .44 round, Magnum. This ammo is rare and can be used for the Scoped .44 Magnum, Blackhawk, Callahan's Magnum, and Lincoln's repeater.
- If James runs away after the Child at Heart dialog has been used, and you convince him to return, it will take a few days (as managed by the in-game clock) before he will steal again.
