“I apologize, we just wanted to make sure our meal is taken care of.”
The cannibals are a group of three unnamed cannibals at the Mountainside Bed & Breakfast in Appalachia.
Background[]
This group of cannibals have turned the hotel into a trap for travelers in the region. Whenever they go to sleep after being rented a room, the cannibals strike and attack them. The three have turned Juliette and Hubert into unwitting accomplices, to give the hotel a non-threatening appearance. They hide out in the basement, where they store and butcher the corpses of their victims.
Interactions with the player character[]
Interactions overview[]

This character has no special interactions. |
Other interactions[]
- If the player character rents a room from Juliette and sleeps in it for 60 seconds, the cannibals will spring their trap and confront the player character at the room's door. If the player character simply waits, the cannibals will always be hostile and attack. However, opening the door before they rush in will trigger a conversation with one of them, presenting some dialogue options.
- If one has the Cannibal perk they can be scared away without a fight.
- If one has Charisma 12+, the player character can claim there is a nearby community with plenty of food and will offer to mark it on a map. The cannibals accept this and leave.
- Alternatively, the cannibals can be taken by surprise in the basement if one passes a Perception 12+ check with Juliette to gain the basement key.
