The Spaniard's crew, sometimes referred to as "the Spanish", are major supporting antagonists of the 2011 film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Led by the Spaniard, the crew participated in the search for the Fountain of Youth, and their subsequent destruction.

After King Ferdinand discovered that the Fountain of Youth was real, he ordered to his henchman find the Fountain and destroy it. Then, the Spaniard along with his loyal crew goes in the search of the profane temple.
Later, meanwhile one of the spanish officers polished the chalices, Jack takes advantage and steal the two chalices. Quickly the spanish retrieve the chalices and arrest Jack and Barbossa. Jack manages to escape with his ability and goes in the search of the Chalices of Cartagena, in his quest Sparrow faces all Spanish armada. Meanwhile, Groves and the rest of the crew rescue Barbossa, Jack finds them and shows them that he could get the two chalices.
Later, the Spaniard along with his crew arrives at the Fountain of the Youth, where he orders them to destroy the Fountain of the Youth because only God can grant eternal life. The crew begins to destroy the Fountain, leading a battle between them, the crew of Blackbeard and Barbossa's crew. With the Fountain destroyed, the crew retires quietly because they completed their mission.
