Iocane Powder was a deadly toxin from Australia. It has no smell, no flavor, and dissolves instantly in liquids. Ramsley carries a small bottle of the toxin and uses it to poison a goblet of wine. This is the manner in which he murders Master Gracey's bride-to-be, Elizabeth Henshaw. Later in the film, Ramsley uses iocane to poison the ceremonial wine so that Sara Evers will die and return as a ghost to end the curse.

The powder is a fictional poison originating from The Princess Bride.
The word "iocane" has five of the same letters as "iodine".
