History Teacher is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It can be received from Willas north of Verde Carpentry Workshop on Fonsett Island, Leftherian Archipelago, the party gathered materials to repair the building and reported to Willas during School is in Session.

Quest objectives[edit]

Find a history teacher in one of Alrest's regions and recruit them.
- Alisdeigh can be found either at the Shrine of Journeys, during the day, or to the side of Harghalgh Inn, during nighttime, both in Garfont Village, Kingdom of Uraya. He can only be hired after completing Uncover the Truth so as to not lock out the quest.
- Tortor can be found outside of Goldmouth, through an opening near Rumbletum Canteen's stairs. Choosing him is one of the requirements for School is in Session's B route. Additional tasks must be completed to hire him.

Recruiting Tortor[edit]

Salvage the Ancient Salvaging Suit.
- The salvage suit can be salvaged at 7th Perimeter Skyport's Salvage Point.
Report back to Tortor at Bower Lounge, Argentum.

Still, it's not as though I can just toddle on back to Mor Ardain... So I'm in a bit of a fix.

If I recall correctly, there is a rather intriguing ancient artifact there. They call it the "Village Guardian".
