The Sticky Bulblax is a grub-dog in Pikmin: The After Years that secretes a syrupy substance from its body, giving it its melting appeal. If any Pikmin except Black Pikmin touch a Sticky Bulblax, they will become stuck to it and vulnerable to other enemy attacks, which the Sticky Bulblax may also get hurt from. However, while Pikmin stuck to the Sticky Bulblax can not be eaten by the creature itself, they can not attack it more than once. The Pikmin stuck to the Sticky Bulblax will not be able to get off of it until it is defeated or they are repeatedly whistled. Any Pikmin that are stuck to a Sticky Bulblax at the end of the day will be counted as left behind.
