The Anode Dirigibug is a dirigibug that regurgitates high-voltage energy balls to attack using instead of bomb rocks. The body of the creature is brown, its eyes are green, and it has yellow flotation sacs, which are electrified. The energy balls it spits out will detonate upon impact with a surface, creating a short-lasting but powerful surge of electricity on the ground where it landed. Because of the Anode Dirigibug's reliance on electricity, only Yellow Pikmin can be used to battle it.

Notes
Yoshord's notes
- “The balloons are filled with hydride and molecular hydrogen; the sparks are the hydride trying to lose electrons so that they can become the more stable molecular hydrogen. This is weaker than the overcharge blowhog's electricity, but it is still dangerous to work around. The real wonder here is that this is able to generate chlorine metal. Chlorine is highly reactive, and even less reactive elements cannot be formed into metal easily. The energy balls are actually balls of these metallic chlorine ions, which even before getting released are sparking to turn into the more stable gas or ionic forms, and evaporating at room temperature above chlorine's boiling point. This makes the energy ball even more dangerous than initially apparent as any fight with the anode dirigibug will result in a room full of chlorine gas. It is lucky that even the Yellow Pikmin are able to survive touching it directly.”
