Sneak 'n' Snore (also formatted as Sneak 'N' Snore)[1] is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 2 and Mario Party Superstars.
Overview[edit]
Players wear barrels bearing their character's symbol (like Mario's hat for Mario) as they try to sneak past a sleeping Chain Chomp and escape. In Mario Party Superstars, the barrels are red, blue, green, and yellow (for Players 1 to 4, respectively) and each have a star symbol. A player can fulfill the objective by going to one end, pressing a button to open a door, and then exit. If a player tries to hide in their barrel, they first slow gradually before stopping. However, when the Chain Chomp awakes, it eliminates any player not hiding by picking them up and dropping them into a Warp Pipe. The first player to exit wins, though if the Chain Chomp grabs all the players or time runs out, it is a draw.
The minigame ends when a player reaches the end, though Mario Party Superstars ranks players by when they reach the door, with players caught by the Chain Chomp always coming in last place.
It costs 150 Coins to buy from Woody in Mario Party 2.
