4.5 Stars This was my favorite volume of this series so far. Erik Larsen really seems to his stride here as a writer as the story flowed really nicely. His art is about the same, which is good. I also like how he constantly throws surprises in, things ...more |

Not only Marvel's greatest horror comic, but one of the greatest comic series ever. The quality of this series was head and shoulders above most comics of the 70s, mainly due to its consistency. Marv Wolfman, Gene Colan and Tom Palmer covered almost ...more

I liked this better than most readers. This was a mix up of The Hills Have Eyes, Open Season by Jack Ketchum, and a dash of Savage Species by Jonathan Janz. So even though it was a little derivative, it still wasn't a bad read. Like most of Zenescope ...more

This was okay, but Zenescope usually does horror a little better. It's an anthology series and each issue features a different story, but there's also a wraparound story about the theater itself that never quite came together for me. ...more
"Man, I *love* zenescope usually but this was quite a boring comic and the art was meh. Can’t in good conscience recommend, but do check out their fairy tale themed series - those are wonderful!"

This is a dark horror series that is presented in a children's Harvey comics style. It's definitely different, as the art even appears to be on old style newsprint. It's funny to see cursing and graphic violence in what looks like a Harvey comic. I p ...more

“The first time Mr. Darcy asked Lizzy to marry him in Pride and Prejudice, he went about it all wrong,” I started, smiling at the connection I’d just made in my mind. “He insulted her and her
family. But after her refusal, he made a conscious effort to change for the better, and everything worked out for them the second time he proposed. It’s the same with us. You learned from your past mistakes, and everything’s different now. Just as Lizzy gave Mr. Darcy a second chance, I’m going to do the same for you.”
“I’m glad that Lizzy gave Mr. Darcy a second chance.” He smiled at the comparison. “She was the only one for him. He would have been miserable without her.”
“And she would have been miserable without him.” I laughed. “Even though she might not have admitted it.”

Hi Quentin,
Thanks for the friendship. We have lots of the same interest. Werewolves are the greatest creatures around. But I study all the supernatural.

Hi T.A. thanks for the message. Yeah I'm new to goodreads and wanted to start finding some friends so I thought kindle worlds authors would be a good place to start. Good luck with your future writing, I have another novel coming out hopefully the end of this month.
Cheers!
Quentin

Quentin, appreciate the contact. Most if not all other Kindle World authors won't respond to my extended generosities (as friend), so I have quit wasting my efforts to correspond. Maybe I need to change my deodorant!
As far as writing stories, I don't know what drives me. Can't be the money, Lord knows I'm always broke.
Sometimes I believe it's the pleasure of being understood. When the people leave a review and tell you it's all good.
But you know ... I know, you know; you're a writer too!
Best regards my friend;
T.A. Walters
