This was my favorite volume of this series so far. Erik Larsen really seems to his stride here as a writer as the story flowed really nicely. His art is about the same, which is good. I also like how he constantly throws surprises in, things that you just don't see coming.

Overall Savage Dragon is probably an underrated series, suffering from the not so great writing of the early Image comic line in general. It looks like after all these years Erik is still having a blast.
