it was amazing

~4.5
"As Bellamy moved from my neck and kissed me, the taste of my blood on his lips, I knew I wouldn't lift a finger to save the world. But I would burn everything down to save him"
Loved Bell and Nix. The story wasn't perfect (some small niggles) but their connection, enemies to lovers dynamics, all the feels - was top notch. Loved that acceptance was a process and not happened instantly despite the mates bond. And that we got to see how it was a process for the brothers as well. And that Phoenix stayed who he is and didn't become an angel just because he fall for one.
The bond between the brothers was as strong as ever and I can't get enough of this found family.
Raiden is next and I'm pretty sure Titan is his mate. And I have a wild guess about Alasteir's mate.
So now I need everyone to read the book so that I could discuss it with all of you who share my love for the Nephilim brothers.
Paperback was worth every dollar.

Quotes Liya Liked

Jaclyn Osborn
“Self-sacrifice isn’t like you at all. Where’s that annoying, cocky-as-fuck demon I love to hate?” “He died that day on the beach when you held a blade to his throat,” I said. “I still remember the way you looked, covered in blood and sweat. Messy bangs falling into your face. You were beautiful and devastating. I knew right then you’d be my undoing.”
Jaclyn Osborn, Bellamy

Liya @Meags, it was! I was a bit worried going in because with expectations as high, the disappointment is often a result. But Jaclyn Osborn continues to deliver 😀
I posted a review but I guess it's not visible yet.

Meags I can see your review now! Sounds like it hit all your buttons! I can't wait! I won't be able to get to it until after the weekend but I'm very excited regardless.

I need to know more about these upcoming mates!!! Raiden is my fave and undoubtedly Alastair's story will be quite epic.

Liya @Meags, I re-read Raiden and Titan scenes in Castor's book and together with those from Bellamy - I'm 99.99% sure it's him.
As to Alasteir, I suddenly think it might be Lazarus, nothing specific to support my theory, just a feeling.
Can't wait for you, Dani, Gloria and Mariam to read it and discuss the details.

Meags I definitely agree with the Raiden and Titan thing. I’m desperate for it and have been since Castor’s book. And even though I haven’t read this book yet, it’s not the first time I’ve considered the Lazarus possibility either.

Liya I remember considering Lazarus possibility when he first appeared in book 1. But there was nothing to support it later so I dropped this idea. But there was certain tension between two in Bellamy and now I'm almost certain it's him

Meags I’m not sure how I feel about that. 🧐

Liya Me too. But I trust Jaclyn to make it good :) and I might be mistaken. And there are some other things I'm dying to discuss :)

I’ll hit you up when I finish B’s story. I’m here for all the book chat. 😉

Mariam, the clown I read this book yesterday and I keep finding myself rereading certain scenes and ugk, I love Nix and his iconic villainous moments. I hope he never changes.

Here's hoping Al's mate is who we all think he is!!!! I'm ordering the paperback for Gray and Al soon! 😍😍

Liya @Mariam, I downloaded the book on KU as soon as it was out to re-read my favorite parts 😀

~✡~Dαni(ela) ♥ ♂♂ love & semi-colons~✡~ I hope that wasn't just a red herring regarding Alastair's mate. I suspected that might be the pairing, and I think this story made that obvious.

Liya @Dani, I have no doubts about Al/Laz, nothing else will work now 😀

Kati *☆・゚ [a bit distracted atm] Yessss, I loved that quote so much as well 😍😍
