I don't read m/m very often, I picked up this book because it is by two of my favorite authors.... and it is about hockey players, and as anyone who has read a lot of books with hockey players, they're all pretty darn hot, growing up in Southern California I kind of missed out on this whole hot hockey player thing... anyways, I think I approached this book as Jamie did his relationship with Ryan
... at first I was like well this isn't really my thing, but I like these authors so I'll give it a go, and I was like I might actually like this, and then I was like darn I really do like this.... all men should be written like this just because you are an alpha doesn't mean you need to be a complete a**hole.... I liked the relationship between Ryan and Jamie, and I thought it developed quite realistically, the struggle of truly excepting who you are sometimes is not easy... but was not Jamie's family's reaction to this the most amazing thing ever! I think we are headed in the right direction as far as acceptance, I definitely see my kids growing up in a completely different world when it comes to sexual orientation then I did, hopefully we will continue on this path... curious to see how the next book in the series plays out...
