The first half of this collection was kind of twisted... but still quite funny. It was a delicate balancing act of hubris and eros... or possibly bathos and... Thanos? No, that's not right, either, damnit.
Anyway, the second half gave up the darker edge and just turned into a bunch of one-shot, one-joke romps. How much you enjoy this book will depend on how much you dig that kind of guff.
Is this really a four stargeneral book? Eh, prob'ly not, but giving it less felt like kicking a puppy who just wants to love you SO VERY VERY MUCH! Call it the last few dregs of my Christmas spirit.

Bwahahaha. Well, considering how much I liked the volume Groot, I'm thinking of giving this a chance as well. How's the art?
